1. General information
Digital time switch with yearly and astro program
The device is designed for installation on DIN rails (in
accordance with EN 60715) and conforms with type 1
BSTU in accordance with IEC/EN 60730-2-7
Bluetooth integrated
16 special programs, 800 memory locations
Programmable with OBELISK top2/3 PC set (9070409);
with PC and OBELISK top3 software and via mobile
devices with the OBELISK top3 app
Time synchronisation via connection of an external DCF
or GPS/ GPS antenna (positioning for astro program with
GPS/GNSS)

2. Safety
Assembly and installation should only be carried
out by a qualied electrician, somebody who has
completed appropriate professional training and
has the knowledge and experience necessary to be
able to recognise and avoid the potential dangers
posed by electricity.
Before installation/disassembly, disconnect the
mains voltage and ensure that the parts are no
longer live.
Prior to commissioning and using the product, read
and observe all the operating instructions.
3. Proper use
The time switch is used, for example, for light controls,
school bells, church bells, ventilation systems, bell sys-
tems, etc.
Only for use in closed, dry rooms
!Do not use on safety devices, e.g. escape route doors, re
safety equipment, etc.
4. Installation and connection

Connecting the time switch
!Correct connection required for smooth functioning of
the zero-cross switching.
!Secure the device with an upstream type B or type C
circuit breaker (EN 60898-1) with a maximum of 16 A.

Connecting the cable
Strip cable by 8 mm (max. 9) .
Insert cable in the open DuoFix plug-in terminal at 45°.
L2 cables per terminal position possible.
To open the DuoFix plug-in terminal, press screwdriver
downwards.
Disconnecting the cable
Use the screwdriver to push the load line connection
opener downwards.
Connecting the antennas
You can connect DCF or GPS/GNSS antennas to synchronise
the time switch via the time signal.

Initial operation
After activating the voltage, press the OK button. You must
connect to the time switch within 30 seconds (CONNECT
BLUETOOTH).
You can then set your language (see gure).
If you want to set your time switch without Bluetooth, press
MENU and follow the instructions on the display.

Press any button and follow on-screen instructions (see
picture).

6. Settings and functions
The digital time switches can be used to program and switch
time switch or astro programs for each channel.
Time switch programs
1 standard program P0 (weekly program with switching
times, pulse and cycle times)
16 special programs consisting of: 14 special programs
P1-P14 (weekly programs with switching times, pulse
and cycle times), with various adjustable date ranges
(xed date range, date depending on Easter, etc.), with
special program P15 (permanent on) and special pro-
gram P16 (permanent off), with adjustable date ranges
Astro programs
For each channel, the astro function can be activated instead
of the time switch function.
1 astro standard program P0 (with x on/off times,
weekly program)
16 special programs consisting of:
14 astro special programs P1-P14 (with x on/x off
times, weekly program) with various adjustable date
ranges (xed date range etc.), with special program P15
(permanent on) and special program P16 (permanent
off) (with adjustable date ranges)

12:00
Press MENU.
Select PROGRAM, conrm with OK.
Select CHANNEL (C1 to C4), conrm with OK.
Select STANDARD P0, conrm with OK.
Select NEW, conrm with OK. FREE 800 is displayed.
Conrm with OK.
Select SWITCH, conrm with OK.
Select ON (for turn-on time) or OFF (for turn-off time),
conrm with OK.
Set desired turn-on time (Mon–Fri, 7:30), conrm with OK.
The display shows EVERY DAY.
Select MONDAY with u and conrm with OK.
Select COPY, conrm with OK.
ADD TUESDAY is displayed, conrm by pressing OK and also
conrm the days Wed, Thu, Fri.
Continue with until SAVE is displayed. u
Conrm with OK.
Repeat all steps for the , however instead of turn-off time
selecting ON select OFF and enter 12:00 for hour and u
minute.
