1,Battery:
This unit uses 4 UM3/AA/R6 size 1.5V batteries (not included). Insert batteries correctly with “+” and “–”
polarities as directed inside the battery compartment, wrong polarities insertion will cause damage to the unit.
Do not use new and old batteries together.
If the unit is disconnected from power source, reapplying the electric supply to the unit within 30 seconds can
preserve all settings inside the memory, otherwise, the preset data will be erased, and it is required to re-write
the memory again.
Battery Low Indicator: If the batteries are out of electric power, the low batteries icon goes solid. It is
suggested to replace the old batteries as soon as possible.
It is important to use 7.5V adapter with positive “+” polarity located at interior, as the symbol illustrated
beside the Adapter Input. Use adapters with wrong polarity or voltage will cause damage to the unit.

Note:It is recommended to always put 4pcs of UM3 battery inside the battery compartment as back up power,
even when external adapter is used. So as to avoid the discontinuity of electric supply.
Protect the unit from high humidity and avoid putting it on wet surface.

2 How to used
As the unit is powered up, the date and clock are defaulted to Tuesday,1
st
Jan 2008,0:00.
The two alarms are defaulted to 0:00,
The unit is standby mode
2.1 Auto-run Mode (Radio OFF)
Press < > once go to different mode sequentiallyMode

2.2 Set the clock
Press < > once when the unit stays in clock display modeMode
The clock goes flashing
Press < > to advance the clock by 1 minuteUp
Press < > to move the clock back by 1 minuteDown
Press and hold < > or <Up Down> to set the clock in fast mode
When no key has been pressed for 10 seconds, the current setting is confirmed and it switches to auto-run
mode
2.3 Set the date
Press < > twice, the current date goes flashing in the format of dd. mm. yy Mode
Press < > or < > to change the current setting by 1 day per step. Press and hold < > or < >Up Down Up Down
to change the setting in fast mode .
When no key has been pressed for 10 seconds, the current setting is confirmed and it switches to auto-run
mode automatically.
2.4 Set the local city
Press< > three. The current setting of the local city goes flashing with 'LOCAL CITY' solid.Mode
The hour and minutes in the time section together with the day-flag are all cleared.
Press < > or < > to select the desired time zone represented by different city abbreviation:Up Down
The “SUN” reflects the status of daylight saving, press < > to change it.Snooze
When no key has been pressed for 10 seconds, it switches to auto-run mode automatically.
