may be used in a bath or shower.

GETTING READY
Please be patient when first using
your shaver, as with any new product ,
it may t ake a litt le while to familiarize
yourself with the device. If you t ake
the t ime to acquaint yourself with
your shaver, we are confident you will
receive years of enjoyable use and
complete satisfaction.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHARGING
Always ensure t hat your hands, t rim-
mer and charge stand are dry before
charging.
Bef ore using your REMINGTON®
shaver f or the f irst time, charge
for 24 hours. For subsequent uses,
charge four hours bef ore use. T he
charging indicator light on your
charge stand will light up t o indicate
that your shaver is charging. One f ull
charge allows 30 mins. of cordless
usage t ime.
Use product until the bat tery is low.
This is indicat ed by the shaver run-
ning dist inctly slower.
Your shaver cannot be overcharged,
however, if t he product is not going to
be used for an ext ended time period
(2-3 months), unplug it from the
outlet and store. Fully recharge your
shaver when you would like to use
it again.
To preserve the lif e of your batteries,
let t hem run out every six months
then recharge for 20 hours.
CHARGING CAUTIONS
● Do not attach the power adaptor to
the outlet with wet hands.
● Always charge t he shaver in a cool,
dry place.
● Do not charge t he shaver in close
proximity to wat er.
● The shaver can be attached
to an electrical outlet voltage
of 120V only.

CARE FOR YOUR SHAVER
To ensure long lasting performance of
your shaver, clean the head assembly
regularly. The easiest and the most
hygienic way t o clean the shaver is by
rinsing the shaving head after use with
warm water. Always keep the protec-
tive headguard on the shaving head
when the shaver is not in use.
AFTER EACH USE
1. Ensure t he shaver is turned off.
2. Press t he release buttons to open
the shaver head.
3. Blow on the foils to remove any
loose debris.
4. Brush or rinse t he accumulated
hair f rom the main body of the shav-
er, shaving head and cutt er assembly.
5. Leave t he head assembly open t o
let t he shaver dry completely.
6. Return the shaving head to its
original position and snap in place.
NOTE:
● Ensure that t he shaver is turned off
when cleaning.
● Do not clean the shaving f oils with
the brush.
● At regular intervals, put a drop of
sewing machine oil onto the foils
and cutters head.
REPLACING THE FOILS & CUTTERS
Signs that your foils and cutters need
replacing:
● Irritat ion: As foils get worn, you may
experience skin irritation.
● Pulling: As the cutters wear, your
shave may not feel as close and
you may f eel your cutter pulling on
your hair.
● Wear: You may not ice that the
cutters have worn through the foils.
To ensure the continued highest quality
perf ormance from your shaver, we
recommend that foils and cutters are
replaced every 6 months.
NOTE: The replacement part for your
shaver model is SPW-480.

How To Use
Your shaver is suitable for legs, under-
arms and the bikini area. It can be
used dry or in the shower.
FOR EVERYDAY SHAVING
1. Remove protective cap.
2. Turn the shaver on.
3. Hold the shaver at a right angle to
your skin and move the shaver against
the direction of t he hair growth.
4. After shaving, turn shaver off.
NOTE: Before dry shaving, make sure
that the area is clean, dry and free
from creams or oil.
If you have not shaved f or a while,
use the flexible trimmer before shav-
ing. This will help you achieve a more
effect ive shaving result.
1. Turn shaver on.
2. Hold the shaver with the trimmer
facing your leg and slightly tilted
towards you (approximately at a 45º
angle).
3. Move the t rimmer slowly against the
direction of t he hair growth.
4. After shaving, turn off shaver.
TRIMMING AND SHAPING
1. Attach the bikini t rimmer headguard.
2. Turn the shaver on.
3. Hold the shaver at a right angle
to your skin and press down gently.
4. Edge and shape the area as desired.
5. After shaving, turn off shaver.
FOR BEST SHAVING PERFORMANCE
We recommend that you use your new
shaver daily for two or three weeks t o
allow time to find the optimum shaving
methods for your particular type of hair
growth patterns.
CAUTION
If your skin is easily irritat ed by shav-
ing, or you suffer from skin allergies,
you should test a sect ion of your arm
or leg before using the shaver.
NOTE:
● The shaver IS suitable for use in the
bath or shower.
● Do not rinse with water hotter than
160ºF.
● Do not completely submerge t he
shaver in wat er.
Battery Removal
When your rechargeable shaver
reaches t he end of it s useful life,
the batteries must be removed f rom
the shaver and recycled or disposed
of properly in accordance with your
state and local requirements.
How to Remove the Batteries
from the WDF-4820
(See diagrams t o right)
1. Remove screw from bott om of shaver.
2. Separate top and bottom housings.
3. Unscrew and remove inner frame.
4. Open the inner housing and remove
the batteries.
5. Insulate bat t ery ends by (1) placing
each bat t ery individually into separate
plastic bags or (2) covering the
terminals of each bat t ery complet ely
with plastic or non-conductive
electrical t ape.

TO REPLACE THE FOIL
1. Ensure t he shaver is switched of f .
2. Gently push t he small plastic tabs
at either end of the f oil carrier. T he
foil carrier should then easily detach
from t he shaving head.
3. To reassemble, snap t he new foil
carrier into posit ion.
4. Attach the shaving head.
CAUTION
● Only hold the plastic to prevent
damage to the foil.
● Do not press on the foil when
replacing.
TO REPLACE THE CUTTERS
1. Ensure t he shaver is switched
of f and open the shaving head.

2. To remove cutt er, grasp cutt er
bet ween t humb and forefinger and
pull upward.
3. To reassemble cutter, place cutt er
onto oscillator t ip. Gently push down
clicking into position.
