NOTE: Repeat this Air Purge Procedure
whenever the jack displays reduced lifting
performance.
AIR PURGE PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT: BEFORE FIRST USE, perform the following Air Purge Procedure to remove any air that may
have been introduced into the hydraulic system as a result of product shipment and handling.
REMOVE COVER PLATE
Loosen and remove the four screws
securing cover plate to jack frame.
Remove cover plate to expose oil ll plug.
CLOSE RELEASE VALVE
Remove handle from handle socket. Place
handle back onto release valve. Fully close
release valve by turning handle clockwise
until it stops.
READY FOR USE
Remove handle from release valve. Insert
handle into handle socket. Jack is now
ready to use. Check for proper pump action.
OPEN RELEASE VALVE
Place the open end of the handle over the
release valve so that the narrow crosspiece
in the handle tip engages into the slot in the
valve. Turn the handle counterclockwise 2
full turns to fully open release valve.
RAPIDLY PUMP
Remove handle from release valve. Insert
handle into handle socket. Turn handle
slightly to right to engage pin in slot. Rapidly
pump the handle 6 - 8 times. Leave handle
in down position.
PURGE AIR
With a at blade screwdriver, push the oil ll
plug slightly to the side to purge trapped air
from system. You should hear a hiss.
REPLACE COVER PLATE
Secure cover plate back in place with the
four previously removed screws.
