Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct
and then save it for future reference. We reserve theright for
any errors in text or images and any necessary changes made
to technical data. In theevent of technical problems or other
queries, please contact our Customer Services.
Safety
• Theproduct should not be taken apart or modified. Certain
non-shielded components inside theclock radio’s casing
carry dangerous current. Contact with these can lead to fire
or electric shock.
• Theclock radio is designed for indoor use only.
• Theclock radio should only be connected to awall outlet
with a230 V, 50 Hz power supply.
• Never expose theproduct to high temperatures from
cookers, radiators or other types of heat sources. Never
subject theclock radio to dusty environments, heavy
vibration, impacts, humidity or moisture.
• Never run its mains lead around sharp edges/corners or in
such away where its lead risks being pinched or damaged
in some other fashion. Place the mains lead where there is
no risk of people tripping over it.
• Do not place theclock radio where there is arisk of it falling into
water or other liquid. Do not place any objects containing
liquid on theclock radio, such as vases, drinks, etc.
• Do not cover theclock radio. Do not place theclock radio
on soft, unstable surfaces such as on blankets, comforters
or similar. Always place it on asolid flat surface to prevent it
from possible overheating. Make sure to keep at least 5 cm
of free space around theclock radio.
• Switching off theclock radio with its power switch only
puts it into standby mode. It does not totally cut it off from
themains. Pull theplug from thewall socket to disconnect
theclock radio completely from themains.
• Remember always to protect your hearing. Listening on
high volume for prolonged periods can lead to permanent
hearing loss.
• Theclock radio must only be repaired by authorised service
technicians and only using genuine spare parts.

Operating instructions
Batteries
• Batteries are used for backup which preserve time settings
during apower cut.
• Thedisplay will not show thetime during apower cut but all
settings will be saved.
Note: not Thealarm will sound when run strictly on thebatteries.
1. Open thebattery cover on thebottom of theclock radio.
2. Insert 2×AA/LR06 batteries. Note thepolarity markings in
thebattery compartment to ensure correct battery insertion.
3. Refit thebattery cover.

Setting thetime
Note: You have no more than about a3-second interval
between setting thehours and minutes. Theclock radio will
revert back to its original setting if you wait more than 3 seconds
between these two stages.
1. Hold in [ TIME SET ] for 2 seconds until the “24 H” symbol
shows in thedisplay.
2. Press [ MEMORY/TIME SET ] to confirm your selections.
Theclock display should then begin flashing.
3. Press or hold in [ TUNING-/HOUR ] to set thehours.
4. Press or hold in [ TUNING+/MINUTE ] to set theminutes.
5. Settings are automatically registered after 3 seconds.
Alternatively you may press [ MEMORY/TIME SET ] to
confirm your settings.
Setting thealarm
• Two separate alarms are available, alarm 1 (AL1) and
alarm 2 (AL2).
• Select either radio or “buzzer”.
1. Press [ /FUNCTION ] until theclock display appears.
2. Make sure that theclock is set to thecorrect time.
3. Hold in [ VOL-/AL1 ] or [ VOL+/AL2 ] (depending on whether you
are setting alarm 1 or 2) for 2 seconds until “0:00” appears.
4. Press or hold in [ TUNING-/HOUR ] to set thehours.
5. Press or hold in [ TUNING+/MINUTE ] to set theminutes.
6. Press [ VOL-/AL1 ] or [ VOL+/AL2 ] again to select thetype of
alarm, radio or “buzzer”. Your selection will be indicated
(9, 10, 12 and 13) on thedisplay.
7. Press [ MEMORY/TIME SET ] to confirm your selections.
Deactivating thealarm/s
1. Hold in [ VOL-/AL1 ] or [ VOL+/AL2 ] until theset alarm time
begins flashing.
2. Short press [ VOL-/AL1 ] or [ VOL+/AL2 ] twice so that both
alarm indicators disappear.
3. Settings are automatically registered after 3 seconds.
Alternatively you may press [ MEMORY/TIME SET ] to
deactivate thealarm.
Snooze
When thealarm sounds, press [ SNOOZE/DIMMER/SLEEP ]
to activate thesnooze function. Thealarm will sound again
after 9 minutes.
Sleep timer
1. Press [ /FUNCTION ] to turn theradio on.
2. Hold in [ SNOOZE/DIMMER/SLEEP ] until “90” appears.
3. Short press [ /FUNCTION ] again to select thedesired
sleep timer setting (90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20 and
10 minutes).
4. To deactivate thesleep timer, repeat steps 1 and 2 as
described above until thedisplay shows “OFF”.
Display backlight
Short press [ SNOOZE/DIMMER/SLEEP ] at any time to adjust
thebacklight.
FM radio
Note: Try moving theaerial to another position whenever
you experience bad FM reception. You may also try moving
theradio to another location to address this problem.
1. Make sure that theFM aerial is fully extended.
2. Press [ /FUNCTION ] to turn theradio on.
3. Hold in [ TUNING-/HOUR ] or [ TUNING+/MINUTE ] until
thestation scan begins or short press [ TUNING-/HOUR ]
and/or [ TUNING+/MINUTE ] to search for stations manually.
4. Adjust thevolume level using, [ VOL-/AL1 ] or [ VOL+/AL2 ].
Saving station presets
20 station presets are available.
1. Select thedesired radio station.
2. Hold in [ MEMORY/TIME SET ] until anavailable preset slot
begins flashing.
3. Press [ TUNING-/HOUR ] or [ TUNING+/MINUTE ] for
selecting aspecific preset (1–20).
4. Press [ MEMORY/TIME SET ] to save thestation.
5. You may also save thestation onto anexisting occupied
preset by saving over it.
Selecting existing presets
1. Press [ /FUNCTION ] to turn theradio on.
2. Press [ MEMORY/TIME SET ] repeatedly until thedesired
preset appears.
Care and maintenance
• Unplug theclock radio before cleaning it with adamp cloth.
Use only mild cleaning agents for cleaning, never solvents
or corrosive chemicals.
• Unplug themains lead during thunderstorms or if theclock
radio is not to be used for any extended period.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not
be disposed of with general householdwaste.

to prevent any harm to theenvironment or
health hazards caused by incorrect waste
disposal, theproduct must be handed in for
recycling so that thematerial can be disposed
of in aresponsible manner. Whenrecycling
theproduct, take it to your local collection facility

ensure that theproduct is disposed of in
anenvironmentally sound manner.

Säkerhet
• Klockradion får inte demonteras eller ändras. Farlig spänning
finns oskyddad på komponenter inuti klockradions hölje.
Kontakt med dessa kan leda till brand eller ge elektriska
stötar.
• Klockradion är endast avsedd för inomhusbruk.
• Klockradion får endast anslutas till ett vägguttag med
230 V, 50 Hz.
• Utsätt aldrig klockradion för höga temperaturer från spis,
element eller annan värmekälla. Utsätt den inte heller för
dammig miljö, starka vibrationer, stötar, fukt eller väta.
• Dra nätkabeln på sådant sätt att den inte kläms eller skadas
av vassa hörn etc. Placera kabeln så att ingen riskerar att
snubbla över den.
• Placera inte klockradion så att den kan falla ner i vatten eller
annan vätska. Ställ inte heller några föremål som innehåller
vätska på högtalaren, t.ex. en blomvas eller dryck.
• Täck inte över klockradion. Placera den inte på en filt,
täcke etc. Låt den stå på en plan fast yta för att undvika
överhettning. Se till att det finns ett fritt utrymme på minst
5 cm runt klockradion.
• Klockradions strömbrytare är sekundärt kopplad och bryter
inte strömmen från elnätet. Dra ut nätkabeln ur vägguttaget
för att helt bryta strömmen.
• Skydda din hörsel. Lyssning med hög volym under lång tid
kan leda till bestående hörselskador.
• Klockradion får endast repareras av auktoriserad
servicepersonal och endast med originalreservdelar.

Användning
Batterier
• Batterierna används för att klockradions minne ska kunna
behålla tidsinställningarna även om strömmen bryts.
• Displayen släcks om strömmen bryts, men klockan går och
håller tiden.
Obs! inte Alarmet ljuder om klockradion drivs av batterierna.
1. Öppna batteriluckan på klockradions undersida.
2. Sätt i batterier (2×AA/LR06). Se märkningen i botten på
batterihållaren så att polariteten blir rätt.
3. Sätt tillbaka batteriluckan.
