INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

ORBIT L ANTERN/FLAS HLIGHT

IMPOR TAN T: Foll ow al l ins tr uc tions

carefully. Any modifications of this product

will void the warranty. Misuse of the Orbit

may cause the user harm.

BATTERIES

The Orbit functions with either 4 AAA

alkaline batteries or AAA-size rechargeable

batteries. (Sold separately).

When using AAA batteries:

Do not mix old and new batteries.

Dispose of the used batteries properly.

Battery life will vary depending upon:

Battery source used

Brand and freshness of batteries

Ambient temperature

Brightness setting used

INSERTING BATTERIES

Extend the lantern globe and unscrew the base

by rotating counterclockwise (Illustration 1).

Slide the case off of the battery compartment

and insert 4 AAA batteries (Illustration 2).

Replace the cover by screwing the base

clockwise onto the batter y compartment

(Illustration 3).

OPERATION

The Orbit has 3 modes: Lantern Mode,

Flashlight Mode, and Dual Mode.

To turn the Orbit on (and off), depress the

center switch (Illustration 4).

When turning on the Orbit when the

batteries are first installed, the Lantern

Mode will be the first mode selected.

To change to Flashlight Mode, simply

double click the switch.

To access Dual Mode, make three quick

clicks. A double click from Dual Mode will

activate the Flashlight Mode.

The Orbit will remember the last mode

selected.

To set the brightness level, turn the Orbit

on in any mode and hold the switch down;

release at the desired brightness level.

When maximum or minimum brightness

level is reached, the light will flash and

then reverse. The Orbit will remember the

brightness level selected for 10 minutes

after it is turned off.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

Ensure that the Orbit is clean and dry before

and after each use, as well as before storage.

DO NOT store the lantern wet.

DO NOT heat the lantern to dry it.

Use a damp cloth to clean the lantern.

DO NOT submerge. Air dry.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the Orbit does not work:

Check that the batteries are oriented

correctly and touching the contacts.

Replace the batteries.

We warrant for one year from purchase date

and only to the original retail buyer (Buyer)

that our products (Products) are free from

defects in material and workmanship. For

headlamps our warranty is for three years.

If Buyer discovers a covered defect, Buyer

should retur n the Pro duct to the place

of purchase. In the event that this is not

possible, return the Product to us at the

addres s provided. The Product will be

repaired or replaced at our discretion. That is

the extent of our liability under this Warranty

and, upon expir ation o f the applicable

warran t y period, all such liabilit y shall

terminate. We reserve the right to require

proof of purchase for all warranty claims.

PILES

La Orbit fon ct io nne s oit avec 4 piles

alcalines AAA soit 4 piles rechargeables de

type AAA (vendues séparément).

Lorsque vous utilisez des piles AAA :

Ne pas mélanger piles neuves et piles

usagées.

Jeter vos piles usagées dans un conteneur

approprié.

La durée de vie des piles varie en fonction de :

MISE EN PLACE DES PILES

Dépliez la lanterne et dévissez sa base en

tournant celle-ci dans le sens inverse des

aiguilles d’une montre comme indiqué dans

l’illustration 1.

Soulevez le couvercle du boîtier des piles et

insérez les 4 piles AAA comme indiqué dans

l’illustration 2.

Replacez le couvercle en vissant la base dans

le sens des aiguilles d’une montre sur le boîtier

des piles comme indiqué dans l’illustration 3.

FONCTIONNEMENT

La Orbit a 3 modes : le mode Lanterne, le

mode Torche et le mode Mixte.

Lorsque vous allumez la Orbit une fois les

piles mises en place pour la première fois,

le mode Lanterne sera le premier mode

sélectionné.

Pour allumer la Orbit (et l’éteindre), appuyez

sur l’interrupteur central (Illustration 4).

Pour passer au mode Flashlight, cliquez

deux fois sur l’interrupteur. La Orbit

mémorise le dernier mode sélectionné.

Pour accéder au mode Mixte, cliquez

trois fois rapidement. Un double clic à

partir du mode Mixte permet d’activer le

mode Torche.

Pour régler le niveau d’intensité lumineuse

: allumez la Orbit sur n’importe quel

mode puis tenez l’interrupteur enfoncé

et relâchez lorsque vous avez atteint le

niveau d’intensité souhaité. Lorsque le

niveau maximal ou minimal d’intensité est

atteint, la lumière se met à clignoter puis

la séquence s’inverse. La Orbit mémorise

le niveau d’intensité sélectionné durant 10

minutes après son extinction.

NETTOYAGE ET STOCKAGE

Assurez-vous que la lanterne est propre et

sèche avant et après chaque utilisation et

avant toute période de stockage.

NE PAS stocker la lanterne encore humide.

NE PAS chauffer la lanterne pour la sécher.

Utiliser un chiffon humide pour nettoyer

la lanterne.

NE PAS immerger. Laisser sécher à l’air libre.

DYSFONCTIONNEMENT

Si la Orbit ne fonctionne pas :

Bei der Ver wendung von AAA-Bat terien

beachten Sie:

Mischen Sie nicht alte und neue Batterien.

Entsorgen Sie die verbrauchten Batterien

nicht mit dem Restmüll.

Die Batterielebensdauer hängt von folgenden

Batterietyp.

EINLEGEN DER BATTERIEN

auseinander und schrauben Sie die Basis

gegen d en U hr zei ge rs in n ab, w ie in

Abbildung 1 dargestellt.

Ziehe n Sie d as Batter iefach aus de m

Gehäus e heraus und le gen Sie 4 A AA-

Batterien ein, wie in Abbildung 2 dargestellt.

Schliessen Sie das Gehäuse, indem Sie die

Basis im Uhrzeigersinn auf das Batteriefach

aufschrauben, wie in Abbildung 3 dargestellt.

BETRIEB

D ie O r b it h a t dr e i B e tr ie bs m o d i:

Laternenmodus, Taschenlampenmodus und

Dualmodus.

Wenn Sie die Batterien frisch einlegen

und die Orbit anschliessend einschalten,

befindet sich die Lampe im Laternenmodus.

Um die Orbit ein- und auszuschalten,

drücken Sie den Schalter in der Mitte

(Abbildung 4).

Um in den Taschenlampenmodus zu

wechseln, drücken die den Schalter zwei Mal.

Die Orbit befindet sich beim Einschalten

stets im zuletzt ausgewählten Modus.

Um in den Dualmodus zu w echseln,

betätigen Sie den Schalter rasch drei Mal.

Ein Doppelklick aus dem Dualmodus

aktiviert den Taschenlampenmodus.

Die Helligkeit wird reguliert, indem Sie

die Orbit in einem beliebigen Modus

ein s chalten und dann den Schalter

gedrückt halt en. Ist die gewünschte

Helligkeit erreicht , lass en Sie den

Schalter wieder los. Bei maximaler

Helligkeitseinstellung blinkt das Licht

auf und wird dann wieder gedimmt (und

umgekehrt). Die Orbit speichert die zuletzt

ausgewählte Helligkeitsstufe nach dem

Ausschalten der Lampe für 10 Minuten.

REINIGUNG UND AUFBEWAHRUNG

Stellen Sie vor der Aufbewahrung sicher,

dass die Laterne sauber und trocken ist.

Bewahren Sie die Laterne NICHT in

feuchtem Zustand auf.

Erwärmen Sie die Laterne NICHT zum

Trocknen.

Reinigen Sie die Lat erne mit ein em

feuchten, weichen Tuch.

NICHT in Wasser eintauchen. Lassen Sie

die Lampe an der Luft trocknen.

FEHLERBEHEBUNG

Wenn die Orbit nicht funktioniert:

Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Batterien richtig

eingelegt sind und die Kontakte berühren.

Tauschen Sie die Batterien aus.

Überprüfen Sie die Kontakte auf Korrosion

und säubern Sie diese gegebenenfalls.

Betätigen Sie mehrmals den Schalter.

LAMPADA/ TORCIA ORBIT

IMPORTANTE: Seguire tutte le istruzioni

molto attentamente. Qualunque modifica

del prodotto annulla la garanzia. Un uso

scorretto della Orbit può causare incidenti.

BATTERIE

La Orbit funziona sia con 4 pile alkaline AAA,

sia con batterie ricaricabili formato AAA.

(Vendute separatamente).

Quando si utilizzano pile AAA:

Non mischiare pile vecchie e nuove.

Disporre correttamente delle batterie usate.

La durata della batteria dipende da:

La fonte di energia utilizzata

Stato e marca delle batterie

Temperatura ambiente

Impostazioni utilizzate

INSERIRE LE BATTERIE

Tirare la sfera estendendola e svitare la base

ruotando in senso antiorario come mostrato

nella figura 1.

Far scorrere lo scomparto delle batterie e

inserire 4 pile AAA come mostrato nella figura 2.

Rimettere la cover avvitando la base allo

scomparto delle bat terie in senso orario

nella figura 3.

FUNZIONAMENTO

La Orbit ha 3 modalità: Lantern Mode (Modalità

Lampada), Flashlight Mode (Modalità Torcia) e

Dual Mode (Modalità Doppia).

Quando si accende la Orbit la prima volta

che si inseriscono le batterie, la modalità

Lantern Mode sarà la prima impostazione

che entra in funzione.

Per accendere (e spegnere) la Orbit,

premere l’interruttore centrale (Figura 4).

Per passare alla modalità Flashlight Mode

(Torcia), cliccare due volte l’interruttore.

La Orbit tien e in me mo ria l’ultima

impostazione scelta.

Per passare alla modalità Dual Mode,

cliccare tre volte. Un doppio click quando

si é in modalit à Dual Mode attiva la

Flashlight Mode (Torcia).

Per impostare il livello di luminosità: accendere

la Orbit su qualunque impostazione, tenere

premuto l’interruttore e rilasciarlo quando

si raggiunge l’intensità desiderata. Quando

si raggiunge il livello di luminosità massimo

o minimo, la luce lampeggia e va a ritroso

in termini di luminosità. La Orbit tiene in

memoria il livello di luminosità scelto per 10

minuti dopo lo spegnimento.

CURA E PULIZIA

Assicurarsi che la lampada sia asciutta e

pulita prima e dopo ogni us o e prima di

riporla per un lungo periodo.

NON mettere mai via una lampada bagnata.

NON scaldare la lampada per asciugarla.

Utilizzare un panno umido per pulire la

lampada.

NON immergerla nell’acqua. Asciugare

all’aria.

RICERCA E RIPARAZIONE DI UN GUASTO

Se la Orbit non funziona:

Controllare che le batterie siano orientate

correttamente e tocchino i contatti.

Sostituire le batterie.

Controllare i contatti e le connessioni in

caso di ruggine e pulire se necessario.

Premere l’interruttore piu’ volte.

PILAS

La Orbit func ion a con c uat ro pilas de

tam año A AA , bien alca linas o bie n

recargables. (Se venden aparte).

Cuando uses pilas del tamaño AAA:

No mezcles pilas viejas y nuevas.

Tir a las pilas gastadas en conten edor

apropiado.

La duración de las pilas variará en función de

los siguientes factores:

Del tipo de pila empleada

De la marca y de lo reciente que sean

las pilas

De la temperatura ambiente

De los ajustes de intensidad empleados

CÓMO INSERTAR LAS PILAS

Extiende la pantalla del farol y desenrosca la

base girándola en sentido antihorario como

se muestra en la ilustración 1.

Extrae deslizando el compar timento de las

pilas e inserta 4 pilas AAA como se muestra

en la ilustración 2.

Vuelve a cerrarlo roscando la base en sentido

horario sobre el compartimento de las pilas

como se muestra en la ilustración 3.

FUNCIONAMIENTO

La Orbit tiene 3 modos: modo farol, modo

linterna y modo dual.

Cuan do enciendas la Orbit tras haber

pu es t o pil as po r pr ime r a vez, s e

seleccionará el modo farol.

Para encender (y apagar) la Orbit, pulsa el

botón central (Ilustración 4).

Para cambiar al modo linterna sólo tienes

que pulsar dos veces el botón. La Orbit

recordará el último modo seleccionado.

Para acceder al modo dual, pulsa deprisa

tres veces . Dos pulsaciones desde el

modo dual activarán el modo linterna.

Para ajust ar el nive l de a lumb rad o

enciende la Orbit en el modo que sea y

luego mantén pulsado el botón y suéltalo

en e l nive l de in tensid ad de seado.

Cuando se alcancen los niveles máximo o

mínimo, la luz parpadeará e invertirá su

intensidad. Cuando se apague, la Orbit

recordará durante 10 minutos el nivel

de intensidad qu e había seleccionado

cuando se apagó.

LIMPIEZA Y ALMACENAMIENTO

Asegúrate de que la linterna esté limpia y

seca antes y después de cada uso, así como

antes de guardarla.

NO guardes una linterna húmeda o mojada.

NO calientes la linterna para secarla.

Usa un paño húmedo para limpiarla.

NO la sumerjas. Sécala al aire.

RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

Si la Orbit no funciona:
