lungsgleisen und Signalen.
- zum Anschluss an einen zugelassenen Mo-
dellbahntransformator bzw. an einer damit
versorgten elektrischen Steuerung
- zum Betrieb innerhalb eines Märklin-Moto-
rola-kompatiblen Modelleisenbahn-Digital-
systems.
- zum Betrieb in trockenen Räumen.
Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt
als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für hieraus

Using the product for its correct
Purpose
This decoder is intended for use
- to install it in a model railway layout to
switch turnouts, uncoupling tracks or
signals.

- within a model railway digital system which
is compatible to Marklin Motorola format
- for operation in a dry area.
Using the product for any other purpose is
not approved and is considered incorrect.
The manufacturer cannot be held respon-
sible for any damage resulting from the im-
proper use of this product; liability in such a
case rests with the user.

Der digitale Magnetartikeldecoder 52111 von
viessmann besitzt 8 separat ansteuerbare,
kurzschlusssichere Impulsausgänge, wel-
che zum Schalten von z. B. Formsignalen,
Entkupplungsgleisen oder Weichen einge-
setzt werden können. Der Decoder arbeitet
mit dem Motorola-Datenformat und kann so-
mit von allen dazu kompatiblen Digitalsys-
temen angesteuert werden.

Kurzschlusses nicht zum Kabel-
brand kommen kann. Verwenden
Sie nur nach VDE/EN gefertigte
Modellbahntransformatoren!
The decoder 52111 has got eight viessmann
separately switchable, short circuit proof
impulse outputs which can be used for ex-
ample to switch semaphores, turnouts or
uncoupling tracks.
The decoder uses the Motorola data format
and so it can be used with all digital systems
which are compatible to Marklin Motorola.
Warning!
All connection and installation work
must be performed with the
operating voltage switched o!
The power source must be
protected so that no cable re can
occur if there is a short circuit. Use
only model railroad transformers
built in compliance with VDE/EN.
Montage Mounting
Schneiden Sie die Abbildung 1 aus. Kleben
Sie diese an der geplanten Montagestelle
des Decoders auf die Grundplatte. Befesti-
gen Sie nun die Decoderplatine mit vier 3

Der Decoder muss auf eine Adresse einge-
stellt werden, welche ihn 4 aufeinanderfol-
genden Weichenadressen des Digitalsys-
tems zuordnet. Dieses erfolgt anhand der
Tabelle auf Seite 6. Die kleinen Miniatur-
schalter des blauen Codierschalters am
Magnetartikeldecoder werden am einfach-
sten mit einem kleinen Schraubendreher
oder einem Kugelschreiber mit eingezogener
Mine verschoben.
Je zwei Impulsausgänge sind zu einem Aus-
gangspaar (rot / grün) zusammengefasst.
Die Ausgangspaare 1 bis 4 werden über je
ein Tastenpaar der Digitalzentrale angesteu-
ert. Ein Druck auf eine grüne Taste erzeugt
einen Spannungsimpuls am jeweiligen grü-
nen Ausgang des Magnetartikeldecoders, ein
Druck auf die rote Taste hingegen am ent-
sprechenden roten Ausgang. Die jeweilige
mittlere (gelbe) Buchse ist der gemeinsame
Rückleiter.
The 52111 has to be set to an address,
which classes it with 4 succeeding pairs of
switches of the digital system. You can see it
in the table on page 6 of these instructions.
The eight miniature switches are switchable
by using a small screwdriver or a ball pen
with a removed cartridge.
Each two impulse outputs are combined to a
pair (red / green). The output pairs 1 to 4 are
each controlled by a push button pair of the
digital central station. A push on the green
button will case an impulse at the correspon-
ding green output of the decoder, a push on
the red button generates an impulse at the
red output. The yellow socket is the common
pole.
