Il contatore statico di energia è un dispositivo elettronico per il conteggio Energy-230 D40
dell’energia attiva sia prelevata che immessa in rete nei sistemi monofase a 230Vac. E’ destinato ad
operare in ambienti con categoria di sovratensione III e grado di inquinamento 2, secondo la norma
EN 61010-1. Il contatore Energy-230 D40 è conforme alla direttiva MID (2004/22/CE) ed è previsto
per l’uso in ambiente meccanico di tipo M1 ed elettromagnetico di tipo E2.
AVVERTENZE DI SICUREZZA
Per garantire una corretta installazione, occorre rispettare le seguenti indicazioni:
1) Il dispositivo deve essere installato da persona qualificata
2) Il dispositivo deve essere installato in un quadro tale da garantire, dopo l’installazione,
l’inaccessibilità ai morsetti
3) Nell’impianto elettrico a monte del contatore di energia deve essere installato un dispositivo di
protezione contro le sovracorrenti
4) Collegare il dispositivo seguendo gli schemi riportati a lato
5) Prima di accedere ai morsetti, assicurarsi che i conduttori da collegare allo strumento non siano
in tensione
6) Non alimentare e collegare il dispositivo se qualche parte di esso risulta danneggiata
7) Il dispositivo deve essere installato e messo in funzione in conformità con la normativa vigente
in materia di impianti elettrici.

FUNZIONAMENTO
Il menù a struttura circolare dell’Energy-230 D40 è composto da 6 pagine:
Pagine 1, 4: energia prelevata totale, energia immessa totale
- Risoluzione: 1 kWh, conteggio massimo 999999. Il contatore non può essere azzerato.
Pagine 2, 5: energia prelevata parziale, energia immessa parziale
- Risoluzione: 0,1 kWh, conteggio massimo 99999,9. Il contatore può essere azzerato tenendo premuto
il tasto (almeno 2 secondi).
Pagine 3, 6: potenza istantanea prelevata, potenza istantanea immessa
- Risoluzione: 0,01 kW , misura massima 10 kW (per valori superiori il display visualizza HH.HH).
Energy-230 D40 visualizza automaticamente la pagina della grandezza selezionata (energia totale,
energia parziale, potenza istantanea) effettivamente conteggiata in quel momento. Ad esempio,
visualizza l’energia totale prelevata o immessa a seconda di quale sia effettivamente il verso della
corrente rilevato in quel momento. L’utente può in qualsiasi momento cambiare la pagina visualizzata
con i tasti e : se dovesse selezionare una pagina che contrasta con il verso della corrente
rilevato, questa sarà visualizzata per un tempo massimo di 1 minuto, dopodiche il contatore mostrerà
la pagina della grandezza selezionata ma con il verso corretto.

The static energy meter is an appliance to read active energy both withdrawn Energy-230 D40
and injected in single-phase 230 V AC systems. It is designed to operate in environments with
category of overvoltage III and pollution level 2 according to EN 61010-1 standard. The energy meter
Energy-230 D40 is in compliance with MID (2004/22/CE) and it’s suitable for use in mechanical
environment of type M1 and in electromagnetic one of type E2.
SAFETY WARNINGS
To guarantee correct installation, proceed as follows:
1) The appliance should be installed by a qualified operator
2) The appliance should be installed in a panel in such a way as to guarantee that the terminals are
inaccessible after fitting
3) A protection device against over-currents should be installed in the electrical system, upstream
of the energy meter
4) Connect the instrument as shown in the alongside diagrams
5) Before touching the connector terminals make sure that the wires to be connected or already
connected to the instrument are not live
6) Do not power or connect the instrument if any part of it is damaged
7) The instrument must be installed and activated in compliance with current electric systems
standards.

OPERATION
The circular structure menu of Energy-230 D40 consists of six pages:
Pages 1, 4: total withdrawn energy, total injected energy
- Resolution: 1 kWh, maximum count 999999. The counter can not be reset.
Pages 2, 5: partial withdrawn energy, partial injected energy
- Resolution: 0.1 kWh, maximum count 99999.9 counting. The counter can be reset by pressing the
key (2 seconds at least).
Pages 3, 6: instantaneous withdrawn power, istantaneous injected power
- Resolution: 0.01 kW , maximum measure 10 kW (for higher values the display shows HH.HH).
Energy-230 D40 automatically displays the page of the selected size (total energy, partial energy,
instantaneous power) actually counted at that time. For example, it shows the total withdrawn or
injected energy depending on what is the direction of the current actually detected at that time. The
user can at any time change the page displayed with the keys and : if a page that contrasts with
the direction of the current detected is selected, this will be displayed for a maximum time of 1 minute,
after which the counter will show the page of the selected size but with the correct direction.
