WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES, BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTR IC
SHOCK, AND INJURY TO RSONS, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING: PE
1. Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the unit s rated specication
before operating.
2. NEVER place the humidier in an area where it is accessible to children.
NEVER use the humidier in an enclosed room, particularly where a child may
be sleeping, resting, or playing.
3. DO NOT add water from mist outlet directly, or it will damage the unit.
4. Do not allow children to play with any product packaging, such as plastic bags.
5. To avoid re hazard, NEVER put the cord under rugs, near heat registers,
radiator, stoves, or heaters.
6. DO NOT place the humidier near heat sources such as stoves, radiators, and
heaters. Do locate your humidier on an inside wall near an electrical outlet.
The humidier should be at least 4 away from the wall for best results.
7. Do not attempt to rell the humidier without rst unplugging the unit from its
electrical outlet.
8. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the
appliance malfunctions, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
Return appliance to manufacturer for examination, electrical or mechanical
adjustment, or repair.
9. Always place the humidier on a firm, at, level surface at least above from 20
the oor.
10. DO NOT allow the mist outlet to directly face the wall.
11. NEVER tilt, move, or attempt to empty unit while it is operating.
12. Shut o and unplug before removing the water tank and moving the unit.
13. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on
this unit. Doing so will void your warranty. The inside of the unit contains no user
serviceable parts. All servicing should be performed by qualied personnel only.
14. Do not plug in the cord with wet hands: electric shock could result.
15. NEVER use detergents, gasoline, glass cleaner, furniture polish, and paint
thinner, or other household solvents to clean any part of the humidier.
16. Do not pour water in any openings other than the water tank.
17. Excessive humidity in a room can cause water condensation on windows and
some furniture. If this happens, turn the humidier OFF.
18. Never immerse the humidier in water or expose to excessive liquid.
STORING THE HUMIDIFIER
1. Follow the 3 steps in the weekly maintenance.
2. Preferably store the humidier in its original box.
3. Avoid high temperature or direct sunlight.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
If your humidier is not working correctly, please check the following causes:

REPLACING THE FILTER CARTRIDGE
It is recommended to replace the ion exchange lter approximately every 1,000
hours of use or about 260 gallons of water depending on the condition of water you
are using.
REPLACEMENT INSTRUCIONS
1. Remove the water tank cap from the water tank.
2. The ion exchange lter is attached on the water tank cap. Detach the old ion
exchange lter by turning counter-clockwise. (Fig.1)
3. Attach the new ion exchange lter to the cap by turning clockwise. (Fig.1)
ATTENTION:
If condensate forms on your windows or walls, please turn o the humidier.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To get the most of the benets from humidier, follow the instructions below the
carefully.
DAILY MAINTENANCE
1. Turn o the humidier and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove the water tank.
3. Drain and rinse the water tank.
4. Wipe and dry the tank and the base with clean soft cloth or paper towel.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
1. Follow the 4 steps in the daily maintenance.
2. Fill the basin of the base with one cup of white vinegar for about 15 minutes.
3. Discard the vinegar and gently wipe o the deposit in the basin, with soft cloth.
You may use a soft brush for cleaning as well.
CONSUMER SAFETY INFORMATION
Note: This is an electrical appliance and requires attention when in use.
Note: If condensate forms on the walls or windows of the room, turn o the
humidier. The room already has plenty of humidity and additional moisture may
cause damage. Do not block air inlet or outlet.
CORD AND PLUG INSTALLATION SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The length of cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of
becoming tangled in, or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is necessary an
approved extension cord may be used. The electrical rating of the extension cord
must be equal to or greater than the rating of the humidier. Care must be taken to
arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over.
