HUMIDIFIER PLACEMENT
Place the humidier on an elevated, non-metallic, lint-free, water-resistant, level surface at least 5 inches away
from walls, heat sources, and ledges.
DO NOT place on carpet, towel or fabrics. The fan vent is located on the bottom of the water basin. The fan vent
MUST NOT be obstructed.
DO NOT place the humidier on a wooden surface or near furniture and electronics (laptop, cell phone, tablets,
etc) than can be damaged by moisture.
CHECK FAN VENT
The fan vent is located on the bottom of the humidier. The purpose of the fan vent is to blow the cool mist
through the mist outlet. It is important that this part be kept clean and free of any obstructions. We recommend
checking the fan vent before using this item (i.e. free of lint, paper, etc.).
Do not place the humidier on top of a towel or carpeted surface. The fan vent on the bottom may
become blocked and overheat the humidifier.
CAUTION: DO NOT operate the humidier without water in the water tank
DO NOT plug or unplug the power cord with wet hands as electric shock may occur.
NOTE ON HUMIDITY LEVEL
It is best to keep the humidity level between 30~50 percent of relative humidity.
The comfort level of humidity will vary from room to room and with changing room conditions.
In cold weather, windows and sometimes walls may fog or develop frost from excessive indoor humidity. If
this occurs, reduce the mist intensity setting to avoid damage from condensed water drippings.
Too much humidity in the room may allow moisture to accumulate on surfaces where bacteria and fungi can
grow. Moisture that gathers may also damage furniture, walls and wallpaper.
To eliminate excessive humidity, especially in smaller rooms, leave the room door or window open and
adjust the mist intensity control accordingly.
