for the lithium-ion batteries of the Power X Change range!

The equipment and packaging material are not toys. Do not let children play
with plastic bags, foils or small parts. There is a danger of swallowing or
suffocating!
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
WARNING! When using mains-powered tools, basic safety precautions, including the
following, should always be followed to reduce risk of fire, electric shock, personal injury
and material damage.
Read the whole manual carefully and make sure you know how to switch the tool off in an emergency, before operating
the tool.
Save these instructions supplied with this tool for future reference.
Before you connect the charger to the mains supply make sure that the data on the rating plate are identical to the mains
data.
This tool charger is double insulated; therefore no earth wire is required.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an electrician or a power tool repairer in order to avoid a hazard.
Note: Double insulation does not take the place of normal safety precautions when operating this tool. The insulation
system is for added protection against injury resulting from a possible electrical insulation failure within the tool.
The power supply for this products charger should be protected by a residual current device (rated at 30mA or less). A
residual current device reduces the risk of electric shock.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Replacing the power cable If the power cable for this equipment is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
OEM after-sales service or by similarly trained personnel to prevent hazards.
a) The charging unit is not allowed to be used for non-rechargeable, normal batteries.
b) Sufcient ventilation is required.
c) The current and voltage information on the battery pack must be the same as that on the charging unit.
d) Do not expose the charging unit to splashwater or rain.
e) The charging unit must be disconnected from the socket outlet before the rechargeable battery is inserted into or
removed from the charging station.
f) Do not throw old or damaged batteries into water or  re. Follow the environmental protection directives.
g) A defective or no longer chargeable battery must be treated as special waste. Dispose of it at a special collection point.
Do not dispose of it with your normal household waste or throw it into water or re.
h) Place the charging unit away from all sources of heat.
i) To reduce the risk of electric shock, pull the power plug out of the socket outlet by the plug itself and not by the cable
when you want to disconnect the charging unit from the power supply.
j) Do not take the charging unit apart. Take it to an authorized repair center if servicing or repairs are needed. Incorrect
assembly can result in an electric shock and even death or  re.
k) Children must always be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the equipment.

1. CHARGING A BATTERY

GREEN (Flashing) Stand By (no battery pack is inserted)
RED (Flashing) Battery is charging (low charge)
RED (Illuminated) Battery is fast charging (mid charge)
GREEN (Illuminated) Battery is 85% - 100% charged and is ready for use.
BOTH(Illuminated) Battery pack is too hot or too cold (charging will begin
automatically when battery reaches correct charging
temperature).
BOTH (Flashing) The battery is deffective, charging is no longer
possible. Do not charge. Contact Ozito Customer
Service.
CAUTION: THE CHARGER SHOULD BE PROTECTED BY
A RESIDUAL CURRENT DEVICE (RATED AT 30MA OR
LESS).

supply and the LED will ash
green showing power is being
supplied to the charger.
3. The red LED will illuminate while
the battery charges.
4. The green LED will illuminate once
the battery is charged.
2. MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the charger from power source before cleaning.
Keep the charger in a dry place out of reach of children.
If the enclosure of the charger requires cleaning, do not use solvents. Use a dry, soft
cloth only to wipe down the surface. Never let any liquid get inside the charger; never
immerse any part of the drill into a charger.
There are no other parts inside the charger which require maintenance. Do not
take the charger apart. If the charger is damaged, contact your supplier or the
manufacturer.
Mounting the charging unit on a wall
The charging unit can be mounted to a wall or workbench.
The correct dimensions for drill holes can be found on the back of the charging unit.
Note: When mounting on a wall you must use suitable screws, e.g. M3 pan-head
screws, in order to prevent damage to the housing and risk of falling.

service number shown. Please note the following terms under which guarantee claims can be made:
1. These warranty terms regulate additional warranty services, which the manufacturer mentioned
below promises to buyers of its new products in addition to their statutory guarantee claims are not
affected by this guarantee. Our guarantee is free of charge to you.
2. The warranty services only covers defects due to material or manufacturing faults on a product
which you have bought from the manufacturer mentioned below are limited to either the rectication
of said defects on the product or the replacement of the product, whichever we prefer.
Please note that our devices are not designed for use in commercial, trade or professional
applications. A guarantee contract will not be created if the device has been used by commercial,
trade or industrial business or has been exposed to similar stresses during the guarantee period.
3. The following are not covered by our guarantee:
- Damage to the device caused by a failure to follow the assembly instructions or due to incorrect
installation, a failure to follow the operating instructions (for example connecting it to an incorrect
mains voltage or current type) or a failure to follow the maintenance and safety instructions or by
exposing the device to abnormal environmental conditions or by lack of care and maintenance.
- Damage to the device caused by abuse or incorrect use (for example overloading the device or the
use or unapproved tools or accessories), ingress of foreign bodies into the device (such as sand,
stones or dust, transport damage), the use of force or damage caused by external forces (for example
by dropping it).
- Damage to the device or parts of the device caused by normal or natural wear or tear or by normal
use of the device.
4. Your Product is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the original date of purchase and is
intended for DIY (Do It Yourself) use only. Warranty excludes consumable parts. Guarantee claims
should be submitted before the end of the guarantee period within two weeks of the defect being
noticed. No guarantee claims will be accepted after the end of the guarantee period. The original
guarantee period remains applicable to the device even if repairs are carried out or parts are
replaced. In such cases, the work performed or parts tted will not result in an extension of the
guarantee period, and no new guarantee will become active for the work performed or parts tted.
This also applies if an on-site service is used.
IN ORDER TO MAKE A CLAIM UNDER THIS WARRANTY YOU MUST RETURN THE PRODUCT TO THE
PLACE OF PURCHASE WITH YOUR REGISTER RECEIPT.
Please refer to the restrictions of this warranty concerning wearing parts, consumables and missing
parts as set out in the service information in these operating instructions.
