WARNINGS
yLithium-ion batteries must be used and charged properly.
Improper use can result in serious injury, fi re, or death.
yNOT FOR USE IN HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS. Do not
use this product in explosive atmospheres, near ammable
liquids, or where explosion proof or intrinsically safe
lighting is required.
yDO NOT use this product in the proximity of vehicles or
equipment when there is a risk of ammable liquids coming
into contact with the ashlight.
yLight can become hot while on. To prevent damage
DO NOT cover or place next to any potentially ammable
materials while in use.
yDo not leave the battery in direct sunlight or use or store
the battery inside cars in hot weather.
yDo not expose the battery to water or salt water, or allow
the battery to get wet.
yDo not store the battery with metallic objects that may
cause a short circuit.
yImmediately discontinue use of the battery if the battery
emits an unusual smell, feels hot, changes color, changes
shape or appears abnormal in any way.
yKeep out of the reach of children.
INITIAL USE
Fully charge the UVR-588XL before the fi rst use, or if
the battery is new or has been unused for several months.
The maximum charge time required is approximately 6 hours.
CHARGING THE LIGHT
The USB charging port is inside of the rotating sleeve
located below the head of the light.
Open Rotating Sleeve
yExpose the USB charging port by twisting the sleeve and
rotating it to the left.
yContinue rotating the sleeve and slide it downward on
the handle.
Plug into USB port to charge
The light ships with a USB-C charging cable. It can be
charged using any of the following methods:
yUSB port on a computer (NOTE: Charging times vary
depending on the computer)
yUSB port in vehicles
yUSB vehicle charger for cigarette lighter port (not
included)
yUSB-compliant AC to DC USB wall charger similar to ones
used with most cell phones (not included)
The typical charge time is approximately 3 hours. Actual
time may vary depending on the remaining charge in the
battery and method of charging. Ambient temperature can
also effect charging time.
The charge indicator light located directly above the
charging port will turn red while the charging and green
when fully charged. Light will turn red when battery capacity
reaches approximately 30%.
Close Rotating Sleeve
yCover the USB charging port by twisting the sleeve and
rotating it to the right.
yContinue rotating the sleeve and slide it upward on the
handle.
WARNING: When the rotating sleeve is open, the light is
no longer IP-X7 Waterproof
OPERATION
The tail cap switch operates the UV light and the body
switch operates the oodlight.
UV Light - Tail Cap Switch
yMomentary-on: Half press and hold without clicking.
Release to turn off.
yConstant-on: Full press, click and release turns on or off.
ySelect UV brightness level: Press and hold to cycle
between high and low. Release when desired level is
reached. The light will continue to cycle between levels at a
rate of approximately one mode per second as long as the
switch is held down.

The oodlight and UV light can be turned on at the same
time.
CR-123 BATTERY CARRIER
The CR123 battery carrier converts the UVR-588XL
from rechargeable Lithium-ion to non-rechargeable Lithium
battery operation.
Load two CR-123 Lithium batteries with the positive
terminals pointing in the direction of the arrow. NOTE: The
ashlight cannot be charged with the CR-123 CARRIER
installed.
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free
from defects in workmanship and materials for the original
purchaser’s lifetime. The Limited Lifetime Warranty includes
the LEDs, housing and lenses. Rechargeable batteries,
chargers, switches, electronics and included accessories are
warranted for a period of two years with proof of purchase.
Normal wear and failures which are caused by accidents,
misuse, abuse, faulty installation and lightning damage are
excluded.
We will repair or replace this product should we determine
it to be defective. This is the only warranty, expressed or
implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fi tness
for a particular purpose.

yLes batteries au lithium-ion doivent être utilisées et
rechargées correctement. Une mauvaise utilisation peut

Ne pas utiliser ce produit dans des atmosphères
explosibles, à proximité de liquides in ammables, ou un
endroit antidé agrant ou un emplacement dont un éclairage
à sécurité intrinsèque est requis.
yNE PAS utiliser ce produit à proximité de véhicules ou
équipements quand il y a risque de liquides in ammables
entrant en contact avec la lampe de poche.
yLa lumière peut être chaude lorsqu’elle est allumée. Pour
éviter tout dommage NE PAS couvrir ou placer à proximité
de matériaux potentiellement in ammables pendant qu’elle
est allumée.
yNe pas laisser la batterie en contact direct avec les
rayons de soleil ou utiliser ou conserver la batterie à
l’intérieur des autos lorsqu’il fait chaud.
yNe pas mettre la batterie dans l’eau ou l’eau salée. La
batterie ne doit jamais être mouillée.
yNe pas conserver la batterie avec des objets métalliques
qui peuvent causer un court-circuit.
yCesser immédiatement d’utiliser la batterie si elle émet
une odeur inhabituelle, semble chaude, change de couleur
ou de forme ou paraît anormal.
yGarder hors de la portée des enfants.
UTILISATION INITIALE
Chargez la UVR-588XL à bloc avant la première
utilisation ou si la batterie est neuve ou n’a pas été utilisée
depuis plusieurs mois. La durée maximale de charge requise
est d’environ 4 heures.
CHARGEMENT DE LA LAMPE
Le port USB pour le chargement se trouve à l’intérieur de
l’anneau rotatif situé sous la tête de la lampe.
Ouvrir l’anneau rotatif
yExposer le port USB pour le chargement en appuyant sur
l’anneau et en le tournant vers la gauche.
yContinuer à tourner l’anneau et le faire glisser vers le bas
du manche de la lampe.
Brancher le câble dans le port USB pour charger la lampe
La lampe est équipée d’un port USB-C et d’un câble
USB-C pour le chargement. Elle peut être chargée selon les
méthodes suivantes :
yPort USB sur un ordinateur (Remarque : le temps de
chargement varie selon l’ordinateur)
yPort USB dans les véhicules
yChargeur USB pour port allume-cigare (non compris)
yChargeur mural USB conforme à la norme CA/CC USB
semblable à celui utilisé pour la plupart des téléphones
cellulaires (non compris)
La durée de charge habituelle est d’environ 3 heures. La
durée de charge peut varier selon la charge restante dans
la batterie et les méthodes de chargement. La température
ambiante peut également affecter la durée de charge.
Le voyant lumineux de charge, situé directement au-
dessus du port de charge, passera au rouge lorsque la
lampe est en chargement et au vert lorsque la lampe est
complètement chargée. Le voyant deviendra rouge lorsque
la capacité de la batterie atteint environ 30 %.
Fermer l’anneau rotatif
yCouvrir le port USB pour le chargement en appuyant sur
l’anneau et en le tournant vers la droite.
yContinuer à tourner l’anneau et le faire glisser vers le
haut du manche de la lampe.
AVERTISSEMENT: LORSQUE L’ANNEAU ROTATIF
EST OUVERT, LA LAMPE N’EST PLUS ÉTANCHE
CONFORMÉMENT À LA NORME IP-X7.
FONCTIONNEMENT
L’interrupteur du capuchon arrière actionne la lumière
UV et l’interrupteur du corps actionne le projecteur.

yAllumage momentané : appuyez à moitié et maintenez
sans cliquer. Relâchez pour éteindre.
yAllumé en permanence : une pression complète, un clic
et un relâchement s’allument ou s’éteignent.

ySélectionnez le niveau de luminosité UV : appuyez et
maintenez enfoncé pour alterner entre haut et bas. Relâchez
lorsque le niveau souhaité est atteint. La lumière continuera
à alterner entre les niveaux à une vitesse d’environ un mode
par seconde tant que l’interrupteur est maintenu enfoncé.
Projecteur Blanc - Interrupteur Corps
Constant-on - Appuyez complètement, cliquez et
relâchez pour allumer ou éteindre.
Double lumière
Le projecteur et la lumière UV peuvent être allumés en
même temps.
PORTE-BATTERIE CR-123
Le porte-batterie CR123 convertit le système
d’alimentation UVR-588 de lithium-ion rechargeable au
lithium non rechargeable.
Insérer 2 batteries au lithium CR-123 avec les bornes
positives qui pointent en direction de la èche.
REMARQUE : la lampe de poche ne peut être rechargée
avec le porte-batterie CR-123 installé.

este producto en ambientes explosivos, cerca de líquidos
inamables, o donde se requiere la iluminación a prueba
de explosión o de seguridad intrínseca.
yNO utilice este producto en las proximidades de
vehículos o equipos cuando hay un riesgo de que líquidos
inamables entren en contacto con la linterna.
yLa luz puede calentarse mientras que está encendida.
Para evitar daños, NO cubra ni la coloque al lado de
cualquier material potencialmente inamable mientras
esté en uso.
yNo deje la batería en la luz solar directa ni use o guarde
la batería en el interior de los vehículos cuando hace calor.

EL USO INICIO
Carga por completo el UVR-588XL antes del uso o si
la batería es nueva o no ha sido usado por varias meses.
El máximo tiempo de carga requerido es aproximadamente
6 horas.
CARGANDO LA LUZ
El puerto de carga USB está dentro de la manga giratoria
ubicada debajo de la cabeza de la luz.

yExponga el puerto de carga USB girando la manga y
rotándola hacia la izquierda.
yContinue girando la manga y deslícela hacia abajo en
el mango.

La luz se envía con un cable de carga USB-C. Se puede
cargar utilizando cualquiera de los siguientes métodos:

El tiempo típico de carga es de aproximadamente 3

OPERACION
El interruptor de la tapa trasera opera la luz ultravioleta y
el interruptor de la carrocería opera el reector.

yEncendido momentáneo: Mantenga presionado hasta la
mitad sin hacer clic. Suelte para apagar.
yEncendido constante: al presionar por completo, hacer
clic y soltar se enciende o apaga.
ySeleccione el nivel de brillo UV: mantenga presionado
para alternar entre alto y bajo. Suelte cuando alcance el
nivel deseado. La luz continuará alternando entre niveles a
una velocidad de aproximadamente un modo por segundo
mientras se mantenga presionado el interruptor.
Proyector blanco - Interruptor de carrocería
Encendido constante: presionar completamente, hacer
clic y soltar se enciende o apaga.
Luz dual
El reector y la luz ultravioleta se pueden encender al
mismo tiempo.
SOPORTE DE LA BATERIA CR-123
El soporte de la batería CR-123 convierte el UVR-
588 de Litio-ion recargable en una batería de litio para el
funcionamiento no recargable.
Cargue dos baterías de litio CR-123 con los terminales
positivos apuntando en la dirección de la echa. NOTA: La
linterna no se puede cargar con el soporte de la CR-123
instalado.
