1. Failure to properly align the battery polarity can cause personal injury and/or damage to the mill.
2. Keep batteries away from children.
3. Do not mix used and new batteries, or mix different battery types.
4. Remove spent or expired batteries from the mill. Remove the batteries when the mill will not be used
for extended periods of time.
5. Never dispose of batteries in a fire.

DESCRIPTION
1. Remove the top cover by twisting anticlockwise to unlock it. Then remove the plastic retaining sleeve
and install 4 x AA batteries referring to the polarity guide
2. Pull the motor unit away from the base and fill the base with peppercorns, dry salts, dry herbs, or
spices. Do not over-fill - leave about 1 cm space in the base.
3. Connect the motor unit to the base aligning the 2 black plastic lugs with the corresponding slots.
4. Replace the top cover. Twist the top clockwise to lock it into position. Give the mill a shake and you are
ready to go.
5. Press the button on the top to operate the mill. If the mill doesn’t turn on, check to make sure that
batteries have been installed properly with the correct polarities.
