IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be

1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the unit, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with
the convenience outlet (230Va.c.).
3. Do not use two-way socket with another appliance.

damaged it should be replaced with the same type and size or bring
the unit to the nearest authorized service center.
5. Do not place the unit near a gas stove, electric burner or in a an
heated oven.
6. Place the unit on a stable surface; keep it away from the edge of the
counter to avoid accidents.
7. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning the use of the appliances by a person
responsible for their safety.
8. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
9. Extreme caution must be exercised when using an appliance
containing hot water.
10. Do not allow the cord to touch the hot surface of the unit.
11. For protection against electric shock, do not immerse the unit
including the power base in water or any other liquid.
12. Always ensure that the lid is closed and do not lift it while water is
boiling. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the boiling
cycle. Do not touch the hot surfaces of the kettle.
13. Remove the kettle from the power base before lling or pouring. Do
not attempt to remove the kettle from the power base until it is
switched o, manually or automatically. Use the kettle only with the
supplied base. Do not use the base for other purpos e.
14. Allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.
15. Not intended for outdoor use.
16. This kettle is intended for boiling water only. Do not heat any other
liquid or attempt to cook any food in this appliance.
17. Never place the kettle near hot surfaces.
18. No parts are dishwasher safe.
19. Do not exceed into the “Maxwater level indicator when filling, if the kettle
is overlled, boiling water may come out.
20. Do not hold the switch on as this may damage the auto shut-o
mechanism.
21. Carry or move the electric kettle only by its handle .
22. Avoid water spillage into the socket, connector, cord and alike.
23. Kettle body may get very hot, be careful when handling.
24. Use on a hard, at level surface only, to avoid interruption of air ow
underneath the appliance.
25. For household use only, not intended for any business purposes.

28. CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the
thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external
switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly
switched on and o by the utilit y.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
HOW TO USE:
If you are using the kettle for the rst time, it is recommended that you clean your
kettle before use, by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then discarding the water.
1. Position the power base on a at, heat resistant surface, as close as
possible to a power outlet.
2. Follow cord routing in power base according to exit patterns. Proper cord
routing will result in the power base at when kettle is placed in base. Do
not operate kettle if power base is not at. If power base is not at, remove
kettle from power base and repeat cord placement instructions.
3. To ll with water, press the lid button to open the lid. Fill the electric
kettle with water below the “MAX” water level mark.
NOTE: Do not exceed the “MAX” water level mark indicated on
the electric kettle and make sure to close the lid. Otherwise, the
kettle will not shut OFF automatically.
4. Place the kettle into the power base. Plug the electric cord into an
electric outlet. Turn the switch ON by pushing down on the on/o
switch. The indicator light will light indicate that the unit is on. up to
The water will heat and the electric kettle will switch o automatically
when the water boils.
NOTE: Ensure the ON/OFF switch is clear of obstructions and
the lid is rmly closed. The electric kettle will not turn off
automatically if the ON/OFF switch is constrained.
5. Carefully lift the kettle from the power base and pour the hot water.
6. The kettle will not re-boil until the on/o switch is switched ON after
25 seconds to allow the kettle to cool down, then it can be switched
ON again.
Note: Maximum capacity of kettle is 3.0L.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
1. Unplug the unit from the convenience outlet before cleaning.
2. The body of the kettle may be cleaned using a damp cloth. Do not
use abrasive materials to avoid scratches.
3. Wash the lter with soap and water.
4. Refer to the instruction below in cleaning the unit using the following:
Soap and Water
a. Combine soap and water. Pour into the Kettle up to the maximum
level for 1 hour.
b. Discard the solution.
c. Fill the kettle with clean water up to “max” level and boil.
d. Repeat several times until the odor of the soap has been removed.
e. Rinse thoroughly.
Vinegar
a. Combine one part of vinegar and water. Pour into kettle up to the
“max” level Switch ON and wait for the unit to turn OFF.
b. Leave the solution inside the kettle for overnight.
c. Discard the solution. Fill the kettle with clean water up to “max level
and boil again.
d. Repeat several times until the odor of vinegar has been removed.
e. Rinse the kettle thoroughly.
