may heat up when the appliance is turned on.
12. Do not place any magnetic objects on the grill plate while the appliance is in use.
13. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the unit and thermostat control in water or
any other liquids.
14. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by person responsible for
their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
15. Extreme caution must be taken in moving an appliance containing hot oil or liquids.
16. Make sure that the unit is unplugged before replacing or removing any of its parts or
accessories.
17. Do not touch the appliance while cooking is in progress.

Note: If the grill plate is not properly placed into the base unit e unit will not work. , th
4. Insert the temperature control on the plate socket.
Note: Make sure that it is set t before inserting the temperature control into o “OFF” position
the plate socket.
HOW TO USE:
1. Assemble the unit (please refer to HOW TO ASSEMBLE ). ‘ ’
2. For initial use, it is normal to observe some smoke when the unit is turned ON.

4. Lift up the grill plate and pour water on the water/oil drip tray to reduce smoke while cooking.
Note: Do not pour water on the heating element.
5. Adjust the temperature control to the desired cooking temperature.
Note: For best cooking result, kindly use medium to low heat to avoid burnt food, a very high
temperatures can also cause discoloration and shorten the life span of any plate surface. If
higher temperatures are necessary, preheat on medium heat for a few minutes.
