DESCRIP TION
Mastering and mixing professionals usually listen to music in ideal conditions in control
rooms specifically designed for mastering and mixing. Studio monitors are either built
into the wall or installed on expensive stands positioned just far enough away from
studio furniture so that nobody can accidentally bump into them. In day-to-day life,
however, most musicians, producers, podcasters, etc., put their monitors right on the
table. Not because this is the best solution, but because there’s not enough space
available.
Even if you invest in a good table stand in this case, you still have to live with the fact
that people might walk by or carelessly move the entire structure and destroy your
optimum listening set-up. Regular stands for studio monitors also need a lot of room
on the table due to their lower base plate.
Gravity® has tackled all these problems with the SP 3102 TM. The studio monitor stand
features a table clamp to securely and safely attach the structure to tables with
tabletops no thicker than 100 mm. Just like other Gravity products, it can be tightened
using a sturdy and handy knob. In contrast to conventional table stands which require
a large base plate to not budge, SP 3102 TM’s clamp base is only 10 × 7 cm and
does not take up more space than a standard screen holder. The intelligent design
of the studio monitors means they do not stick too far out onto the table. This ensures
a greater distance between the listener and monitors even when tables aren’t that
deep, as well as the perfect speaker placement to find the sweet spot in the room.
Everything stays put with the SP 3102 TM thanks to its clamp that keeps stands fixed in
position. In addition, the SP 3102 TM is fully equipped to help you perfectly align the
monitors into the listening position. The stand has clearly visible markings to adjust
the height, rotation, and tilt. There’s also EVA padding and an anti-tipping device to
make sure your valuable monitors rest securely on the upper shelf, even when tilted
up to 15°. You can now sit back and enjoy the sweet spot!

BESCHREIBUNG
Mastering- und Mixing-Profis sitzen in der Regel in einem eigens für diesen Zweck
geschaffenen Abhörraum und hören Musik unter idealen Bedingungen ab. Die
Studiomonitore sind entweder in die Wand integriert oder auf teuren Stativlösungen
positioniert, die mit ausreichend Abstand zu den Studiomöbeln stehen und keine
versehentliche Berührung fürchten müssen. Im Alltag der meisten Musiker, Pro-
duzenten, Podcaster etc. befinden sich die Abhörmonitore direkt auf dem Tisch.
Nicht, weil dies die ideale Lösung ist, sondern weil einfach nicht mehr Platz vorhanden
ist.
Doch selbst, wer unter diesen Bedingungen in einen guten Tischständer investiert,
muss damit leben, dass vorbeilaufende Personen oder eine unbedachte Bewegung
die ganze Konstruktion verschiebt – und vorbei ist es mit dem sauberen Stereodreieck.
Weiterhin brauchen herkömmliche Studiomonitor-Ständer durch ihre untere Boden-
platte viel Platz auf dem Tisch.
Mit dem SP 3102 TM nimmt sich Gravity® diesen Problemen an. Der Studiomonitor-
Ständer verfügt über eine Tischklemme, um die Konstruktion an Tischen mit einer
maximalen Plattendicke von 100 mm fest und sicher zu befestigen. Wie bei Gravity
üblich, erfolgt das Festdrehen über einen stabilen und griffigen Drehknopf. Im
Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen Tischständern, die aus statischen Gründen eine gro-
ße Bodenplatte benötigen, misst der Klemmsockel des SP 3102 TM nur 10 x 7 cm und
nimmt nicht mehr Platz ein als eine handelsübliche Bildschirmhalterung. Aufgrund
der durchdachten Konstruktion ragen auch die Studiomonitore selbst nicht allzu
weit in den Tischbereich hinein – so lässt sich auch an Tischen mit geringer Tiefe
mehr Abstand zum Hörer erzielen und ein sauberes Abhördreieck mit Sweetspot bil-
den.
Beim SP 3102 TM verrückt nichts mehr, denn die Klemme hält die Ständer fest in
Position. Jetzt gilt es, die Monitore perfekt auf die Hörposition auszurichten – und
auch hier bietet der SP 3102 TM alles, was Du brauchst. Sowohl für die Justierung der
Höhe, der Drehung als auch der Neigung ist der Ständer mit gut sichtbaren Markie-
rungen ausgestattet. Zudem sorgen die EVA-Polsterung und der Kippschutz dafür,
dass Deine wertvollen Monitore selbst bei maximaler Neigung von 15° sicher auf der
oberen Ablage ruhen. Jetzt brauchst Du Dich nur noch in den Sweet Spot zu setzen.
