Cassette Tape Use:
This unit supports casettes up to C90.
Larger tapes with more than 45 minutes of playing
time (C120) per side are not recommended. Longer
duration tapes pose a greater risk of defect for both
the cassette and the cassette player. Use only high
quality tapes with a duration of 45 minutes or less.
WARNING: This product may contain chemicals known to the State of

Do not use this apparatus near water.
Clean only with a dry cloth.
Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions.
Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or
other apparatus (including ampliers) that produce heat.
Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding - type plug. A
polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type
plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third
prong are provided for your safety. When the provided plug does not t into
your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched
particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point
where they exit from the apparatus.
Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused
for long periods of time.
Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required
when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply
cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into
the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not
operate normally, or has been dropped.
Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specied by the
manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution
when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.

Mains plug is used as disconnect device and it should remain readily operable
during intended use. In order to disconnect the apparatus from the mains
completely, the mains plug should be disconnected from the mains socket
outlet completely.

apparatus.

CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace
only with the same or equivalent type.

Alkaline batteries in the unit. Only use rechargeable NiMH batteries.
Objects lled with liquids, such as vases, shall not be placed on the apparatus.
Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, re or the
like.
Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment
does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of
the body, seek immediate medical attention.
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Completely replace all old batteries with new ones.
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (ni-cad, ni-mh,
etc) batteries.
Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per state and local guidelines.

Playing a Cassette
This unit supports casettes up to C90. Larger tapes with more than 45 minutes
of playing time (C120) per side are not recommended. Longer duration tapes pose
a greater risk of defect for both the cassette and the cassette player. Use only high
quality tapes with a duration of 45 minutes or less.
1. Press Stop/Eject to open the cassette door and load a cassette.
2. Close the cassette door.
3. Use the recorders controls to play, pause, rewind, and fast forward audio
from the cassette. Use the Volume dial to adjust to the desired level.
Recording
Note: The recorder only records in Mono, Stereo is not available. The recorder
will automatically set the recording level, the Volume dial does not control the
recording level.
1. Press Stop/Eject to open the cassette door and load a blank cassette.
2. Close the cassette door.
3. When you are ready, press the buttons at the same time to Play and Record
begin recording audio. Do not force the Record button down if a tape’s erase
protection tabs have been removed, this may cause damage to the recorder.
4. Press the Pause button to pause recording. Press again to resume.
5. Press the Stop/Eject button to stop recording. Recording will stop
automatically if you reach the end of the tape.

For battery power, this unit requires 4 C sized batteries (not included).
AC/DC Power
Using an AC/DC power adapter (included), plug the adapter into a standard power
outlet and the DC Power Input on the unit.
Built-in Mic: remain within 2.5 ft.
External Mic: connect to Aux In
For headphones/earbuds, connect to
Headphone Jack (3.5mm audio)
