Do not connect the USB cable yet.

1 2 Insert the product CD or download and run your

product’s software package:

V39: epson.com/support/v39 (U.S.)

OS X: An Internet connection is required. Type

in the URL or double-click the icon in the CD

window to link to one of the web pages shown

above. Then, download and run your product’s

software package from the web page. Make sure

you run Epson Software Updater.

When the scanner is connected to the

computer, it will automatically turn on. To turn

the scanner off, disconnect the USB cable.

If you don’t have a User’s Guide icon, go to the Epson website, as described below.

Additional software

To download updates and additional software (if available) for your Epson® scanner, you need

to use the Epson Software Updater utility. The utility normally runs automatically after you

complete the software installation. An Internet connection is required.

To run Epson Software Updater manually, do the following:

Windows 8.x: Navigate to the Apps screen and select .EPSON Software Updater

Windows (other versions): Click or > or Start All Programs Programs Epson >

Software EPSON Software Updater > .

OS X: Select > > Applications Epson Software EPSON Software Updater.

If the utility notifies you that there is a new version of Epson Software Updater available,

follow the on-screen instructions to install the new version of Epson Software Updater. Run

the Epson Software Updater utility again.

Logiciels additionnels

Pour télécharger des mises à jour et des logiciels additionnels (si disponibles) pour votre

scanner Epson®, vous devez utiliser l’utilitaire Epson Software Updater. En général, l’utilitaire

est automatiquement exécuté lorsque l’installation du logiciel est complétée. Une connexion

Internet est requise.

Pour exécuter manuellement Epson Software Updater, effectuez les étapes suivantes :

Windows 8.x : Naviguez vers l’écran Applications et sélectionnez EPSON Software

Updater.

Windows (autres versions) : Cliquez sur ou > Démarrer Tous les programmes

ou > Programmes Epson Software EPSON Software Updater > .

OS X : Sélectionnez > > Applications Epson Software EPSON Software Updater.

Si l’utilitaire vous avertit qu’une nouvelle version d’Epson Software Updater est disponible,

suivez les instructions à l’écran pour installer la nouvelle version d’Epson Software Updater.

Exécutez l’utilitaire Epson Software Updater de nouveau.
