Do not allow the machine to twist at the blue tape. Allowing the machine to twist at the blue tape
may result in accidental damage. Remove blue tape once the machine is assembled.
Ne tournez pas l’appareil au niveau de l’adhésif bleu, pour éviter tout dommage accidentel.

be covered for parts and labour for 2 years from the date of purchase,
subject to the terms of the guarantee. If you have any questions about
your Dyson appliance, call the Dyson Helpline with your serial number
and details of where/when you bought the appliance.
Most questions can be solved over the phone by one of our trained
Dyson Helpline staff.
Your serial number can be found on your rating plate which is on the
base of the appliance.

1. Pacemakers and defibrillators may be affected by strong magnetic fields. If you
or someone in your household has a pacemaker or defibrillator, avoid placing
the remote control in a pocket or near to the device.
2. Credit cards and electronic storage media may also be affected by magnets and
should be kept away from the remote control and the top of the appliance.

These warnings apply to the appliance, and also where applicable, to
all tools, accessories, chargers or mains adaptors.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, OR INJURY:
3. This Dyson appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or reasoning capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, only if they have been given supervision or
instruction by a responsible person concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
4. Ensure appliance is fully assembled in line with the instructions before use. Do
not dismantle the appliance or use without the loop amplifier fitted.
5. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or
near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
6. Use only as described in this Dyson Operating Manual. Do not carry out any
maintenance other than that shown in this manual, or advised by the Dyson
Helpline.
7. Suitable for dry location ONLY. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces and do
not expose to water or rain.
8. Do not handle any part of the plug or appliance with wet hands.
9. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cable or plug. Discard the
appliance or return to an authorised service facility for examination and/or
repair. If the supply cable is damaged it must be replaced by Dyson, its service
agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
10. If the appliance is not working as it should, has received a sharp blow, has
been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, do not use and
contact the Dyson Helpline.
11. Do not stretch the cable or place the cable under strain. Keep cable away from
heated surfaces.
12. Do not run cable under carpeting. Do not cover cable with throw rugs, runners
or similar coverings. Arrange cable away from traffic area and where it will not
be tripped over.
13. Do not unplug by pulling on the cable. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cable.
The use of an extension cable is not recommended.
14. Do not put any object into openings or the inlet grille. Do not use with any
opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce
airflow.
15. Do not use any cleaning agents or lubricants on this appliance. Unplug before
cleaning or carrying out any maintenance.
16. Always carry the appliance by the base, do not carry it by the loop amplifier.
17. Turn off all controls before unplugging. Unplug from socket when not in use for
extended periods. To avoid a tripping hazard, safely coil the cable.
18. Do not use near furnaces, fireplaces, stoves or other high temperature heat
sources.
19. Do not use in conjunction with or directly next to an air freshener or similar
products.
20. Choking hazard - This remote control unit contains a small battery. Keep the
remote control away from children and do not swallow the battery. If the battery
is swallowed seek medical advice at once.

10. Si l’appareil Dyson ne fonctionne pas correctement, a reçu un coup intense,
est tombé, a été endommagé, laissé dehors ou est tombé dans l’eau, ne pas
l’utiliser et contacter le Service Consommateurs de Dyson.
11. Ne pas tirer sur le câble. Eloigner le câble des surfaces chaudes.
12. Ne pas recouvrir le câble avec des revêtements de sols. Ne pas laisser le câble
dans le passage pour éviter tout risque de chute.
13. Ne pas débrancher en tirant sur le câble d’alimentation. Pour débrancher, saisir
la prise et non le câble. L’utilisation d’une rallonge n’est pas recommandée.
14. Ne placer aucun objet dans les ouvertures ou la grille d’entrée d’air. Ne pas
utiliser si une ouverture est obstruée. Ôter poussière, peluches, cheveux ou tout
autre élément qui pourrait réduire la circulation d’air.
15. Ne pas utiliser d’agents de nettoyage ou de lubrifiants sur cet appareil.
Débrancher l’appareil avant de le nettoyer ou de procéder à tout entretien.
16. Porter toujours l’appareil par la base et non pas par l’anneau amplificateur.
17. Eteindre toutes les commandes avant de débrancher le ventilateur. Débrancher
en cas de longues périodes sans utilisation. Pour éviter les chutes, enrouler le
câble de façon sécuritaire.
18. Ne pas utiliser à proximité d’appareils de chauffage, fours, foyers, cuisinières ou
autres sources de chaleur à température élevée.
19. Ne pas utiliser conjointement avec un assainisseur d’air ou appareil similaire, ni
à proximité immédiate de tels appareils.
20. Risque d’étouffement - Cette télécommande contient une petite pile. Conserver
la télécommande éloignée des enfants et ne pas avaler la pile. Si la pile est
avalée, demander immédiatement des conseils médicaux.
