Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save
it for future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in text or images and any
necessary changes made to technicaldata. In theevent of technical problems or other
queries, please contact our Customer Services (see address details on theback).
General instructions
• Never turn thepanel heater on if there are any visible signs of damage (splits/cracks)
on thehousing or themains lead or if you suspect theany hidden damage
(iftheheater has been dropped).
• Thepanel heater should only be connected to a220–240 V wall socket.
• Theexternal surfaces can reach temperatures of over 60 °C.
Safety
When using electrical appliances, thefollowing basic precautions must be followed to
reduce therisk of fire, electric shock or personal injury:
• Warning: Inorder to prevent overheating, do not cover theappliance.
• Theappliance must not be covered by towels, curtains,etc. Theappliance may
overheat if it is covered. Theair intake and outlet grilles must not be blocked.
• Theappliance must never be placed directly beneath awall socket.
• Themains lead must be changed if damaged. Thisis to prevent therisk of electric
shock or fire and should only be carried out by themanufacturer, authorised
service facility or aqualified tradesman.
• Theappliance must never be connected via anon/off timer or other device
which can switch theappliance on automatically since there is arisk of fire if
theappliance is covered or positioned incorrectly.
• Do not use thepanel heater in theimmediate vicinity of bathtubs, showers or
swimmingpools.
• Theappliance must be kept out of reach of children under 3 years of age unless
they are under constant supervision.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years must only switch theappliance on/
off provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating
position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
theappliance in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years must not plug in, regulate and clean
theappliance or perform user maintenance.
• Theappliance becomes very hot duringuse. Burnhazard. Particular Note:
attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
