In de bijgaande Snelstart handleiding wordt stap voor stap uitgelegd hoe u de Conceptronic
C56PMi installeert.

Bij software/drivers installatie: het is mogelijk dat onderstaande installatie iets afwijkt van
de installatie op uw computer. Dit is afhankelijk van de Windows versie die u gebruikt.
1. De modemkaart installeren
1.1 De modemkaart in de computer plaatsen
A. Verwijder de behuizing van de computer.
B. Schuif de modemkaart in een vrij PCI uitbreidingsslot.
C. Maak de behuizing van de computer weer dicht.
1.2 De modem op de telefoonlijn aansluiten
A. Haal het stekkertje van uw telefoon uit het telefoonstopcontact. Doe het
telefoonstekkertje in de aansluiting met de aanduiding ‘Phone’ aan de achterkant
van de modem.
B. Doe het stekkertje van de telefoonkabel die u met de modem geleverd hebt
gekregen in de aansluiting met de aanduiding ‘Line’ aan de achterkant van de
modem.
C. Doe het uiteinde van deze telefoonkabel in het telefoonstopcontact.

2. Stuurprogramma Installatie
2.1 Windows 2000
A. Negeer de “Nieuwe Hardware Wizard” of klik op “Annuleren” om deze te sluiten.
B. Plaats de CD-ROM in uw CD-ROM Speler.
C. Klik op “Start”, “Uitvoeren” en klik op “Bladeren”.
D. Navigeer naar de CD-ROM en ga naar de map “Driver”, “Win2K”.
E. Selecteer het bestand “HXFSetup.exe” en klik op “Open”.
F. Klik op “OK” om de Setup te starten en het modem automatisch te installeren.
2.2 Windows XP
A. Negeer de “Nieuwe Hardware Wizard” of klik op “Annuleren” om deze te sluiten.
B. Plaats de CD-ROM in uw CD-ROM Speler.
C. Klik op “Start”, “Uitvoeren” en klik op “Bladeren”.
D. Navigeer naar de CD-ROM en ga naar de map “Driver”, “WinXP”.
E. Selecteer het bestand “HXFSetup.exe” en klik op “Open”.
F. Klik op “OK” om de Setup te starten en het modem automatisch te installeren.
2.3 Windows Vista
A. Negeer de “Nieuwe Hardware Wizard” of klik op “Annuleren” om deze te sluiten.
B. Plaats de CD-ROM in uw CD-ROM Speler.
C. Klik op “Start”, “Uitvoeren” en klik op “Bladeren”.
D. Navigeer naar de CD-ROM en ga naar de map “Driver”, “Vista32”.
E. Selecteer het bestand “HXFSetup.exe” en klik op “Open”.
F. Klik op “OK” om de Setup te starten en het modem automatisch te installeren.
Na de installatie is uw modem gereed voor gebruik!

The Software installation as described below, may be slightly different from the installation
on your computer. This depends on the Windows version you are using.
1. Installing the Modem Card into the computer
1.1 Installing the Modem Card into the computer
A. Remove the computer case
B. Insert the modem card into a free PCI expansion slot
C. Close the computer case.
1.2 Connecting the modem to the telephone line
A. Unplug the telephone from the wall socket, then plug the line from telephone into
the socket on the back of the modem marked ‘Phone’.
B. Plug the telephone cord supplied with the modem, into the socket on the back of
the modem marked ‘Line’.
C. Plug the other end of the telephone cord into the wall socket
