Please read theentire instruction manual before using thepro-
duct and save it for future reference. We reserve theright for
any errors in text or images and any necessary changes made
to technical data. If you have any questions regarding technical
problems please contact our Customer Services.
Safety
• This product must not be used by anyone (including
children) suffering from physical or mental impairment.
Theproduct should not be used by anyone without
sufficient experience or knowledge unless they have
been instructed in its use by someone who will take full
responsibility for their safety.
• Check that thevoltage where you want to use thehotplate
is compatible with theproduct’s rated voltage. Makesure
you connect thehotplate to anearthed outlet.
• Place thehotplate on adry, flat and durable surface.
Makesure there is adequate free space surrounding
thehotplate since thesides get hot during use.
• Never place any inflammable objects such as towels,
curtains, or plastic containers on or close to thehotplate.
• The product should be used only as described in this manual.
• Never leave theproduct unattended during use.
Keeptheproduct out of children’sreach.
• Be cautious when heating up cooking oil or lard.
Neverleave thepot/ frying pan unattended during use
toavoid overheating.
• Never use thehotplate without acooking vessel, asthis can
damage thehotplate.
• The mains lead should be checked regularly. Neveruse
theproduct if themains lead or plug is damaged.
• The mains lead must be changed if damaged. Thisis to
prevent therisk of electric shock or fire and should only be
carried out by themanufacturer, qualified service facility or
qualified technician.
• Do not pull or carry theproduct by its mains lead. Donot
use thelead as ahandle and do not let it fasten in door
jambs. Donot pull thehotplate around sharp corners and
edges or over warm surfaces.
• The product should only be used and stored indoors.
• Do not open thehousing. Certain components inside
thecasing are exposed and carry dangerous electrical current.
Contact with these components could result in electric shock.
• The hotplate should not be modified or disassembled and
may only be repaired by qualified service personnel.
• Always unplug thehotplate from thewall socket
beforecleaning.
• Never lower theproduct into water or other liquids.
Thehotplate can become live and produce lethal
electricalshocks.
• Warning: To avoid risk of electric shock, turn off thehotplate
and pull out theplug if thehotplate is cracked or damaged.
Operating instructions
1. Pick asuitable location for using thehotplate in accordance
with thesafety instructions.
2. Check that thehotplate is turned off before connecting
theplug to awall socket.
3. When thehotplate is used thefirst time theplate’s
protective coating can still be left. Thehotplate can start to
smoke when it gets warm, this is completely normal.
4. Keep thesurface of thehotplate free and clear of water,
food spills, etc before turning iton.
5. Adjust theheat for thefood being cooked. Adjusttheheat
control clockwise to turn thehotplate. Useposition
MIN 3 4 MAXto for warming and position to for cooking.
6. The red indicator lamp is lit during warm-up (i.e. when
theheat setting is from to ) but has not yet reached 1 MAX
theset temperature. Theindicator lamp will turn off once
theset temperature is reached.
7. Always turn off thehotplate immediately after use by turning
theheat setting to . Pulltheplug from thewall socket MIN
when thehotplate is not inuse.
Advice foruse
• Always use flat bottomed pots and pans which maintain
agood even contact surface with thehotplate.
• The hotplate’s residual heat can be used to help keep food
warm after thehotplate has been turned off.
Care and maintenance
• Always unplug theproduct from thewall socket
beforecleaning.
• Never immerse thehotplate into water or other liquids.
• Clean thehotplate’s surface with asoft moist cloth.
Donotuse cleaning solutions or solvents.
• Food spills are most easily removed while thehotplate is still
warm (not hot).
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. Ifyou are unsure how to proceed, contact your
local authority.

Säkerhet
• Produkten får inte användas av personer (inklusive barn)
med begränsad fysisk eller mental förmåga. Denfår inte
heller användas av personer utan tillräcklig erfarenhet och
kunskap om de inte fått instruktioner om användningen av
någon som ansvarar för deras säkerhet.
• Kontrollera att spänningen där du ska använda produkten är
samma som på produktens märkskylt. Setill att du ansluter
produkten till ettjordat uttag.
• Placera produkten på etttorrt, jämnt och oömt underlag.
Setill att det finns fritt utrymme runt om produkten då
sidorna blir varma under användning.
• Placera aldrig några brännbara föremål som t.ex. gardiner,
handdukar eller plastlådor på eller inärheten av produkten.
• Använd produkten endast på det sätt som beskrivs iden
här bruksanvisningen.
• Håll alltid produkten under uppsikt vid användning.
Användprodukten utom räckhåll förbarn.
• Var försiktig när du hettar upp olja eller fett. Hållkärlet/
pannan under uppsikt för att undvika överhettning.
• Använd aldrig produkten utan ettkärl eller enstekpanna,
detta kan skada produkten.
• Nätsladden bör regelbundet kontrolleras. Användaldrig
apparaten om nätsladden eller stickproppen är skadade.
• Om nätsladden skadats får den, för att undvika risk för
elektrisk chock eller brand, endast bytas av tillverkaren,
dess serviceställe eller av enkvalificerad yrkesman.
• Dra eller bär inte produkten inätsladden. Användinte
sladden som etthandtag och kläm den inte inågon dörr.
Draden inte heller runt vassa hörn och kanter eller över
varmaytor.
• Produkten får endast användas och förvaras inomhus.
• Öppna inte höljet. Farligspänning finns oskyddat på vissa
komponenter inuti produktens hölje. Kontakt med dessa
kan ge upphov till elektriska stötar.
• Produkten får inte ändras eller demonteras och får endast
repareras av kvalificerad servicepersonal.
• Dra alltid stickproppen ur vägguttaget efter användning eller
före rengöring.
• Sänk aldrig ned produkten ivatten eller andra vätskor.
Produkten kan bli strömförande och livshotande elektriska
stötar kan uppstå.
• Varning! Föratt undvika risk för elektrisk chock, stäng av
produkten och dra ut stickproppen om plattan spruckit
ellerskadats.
Användning
1. Välj enlämplig placering av kokplattan enligt
säkerhetsföreskrifterna.
2. Kontrollera att kokplattan är avstängd och anslut sedan
stickproppen till vägguttaget.
3. När kokplattan används första gången kan plattans
skyddsbeläggning fortfarande vara kvar. Plattan kan då
börja ryka när den är varm, detta är helt normalt.
4. Försäkra dig alltid om att det inte finns något på kokplattan,
t.ex. vatten eller matrester, innan du slår påden.
5. Justera värmen efter det som ska tillagas.
Vridvärmereglaget medsols för att slå på kokplattan.
Användläge till för långsam uppvärmning och läge MIN 3
4 MAXtill för kokning.
6. Den röda indikatorlampan lyser iuppvärmningsläge,
dvs. när kokplattan är tillslagen (värmereglaget står iläge
1 MAX till ) men inte har hunnit värmas upp till inställd
temperatur. Lampanslocknar när kokplattan har uppnått
den inställda temperaturen.
7. Stäng alltid av kokplattan direkt efter användning genom
att sätta värmereglaget iläge . Draut stickproppen när MIN
kokplattan inte används.
Tips vid användning
• Använd alltid flatbottnade kärl och stekpannor som ger god
kontakt med kokplattan.
• Plattans eftervärme kan användas till att varmhålla maten
enstund efter det att plattan stängts av.
Skötsel och underhåll
• Dra alltid ut stickproppen ur vägguttaget före rengöring.
• Sänk aldrig ned kokplattan ivatten eller andra vätskor.
• Rengör kokplattans ytor med enmjuk fuktad trasa.
Användinga slipande eller frätande rengöringsmedel.
• Matrester tas enklast bort medan plattan är ljummen
(intehet).
Avfallshantering
När du ska göra dig av med produkten ska detta ske enligt
lokala föreskrifter. Ärdu osäker på hur du ska gå tillväga,
kontakta din kommun.
