General Safety Instructions
THIS PRODUCT IS FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY!
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THIS MANUAL BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE!
1. Check the voltage of the power supply in your home is suitable the voltage shown on the
rating label of this product.
2. The appliance is only for private use and for the envisaged purpose.
3. Thisapplianceisnottforcommercialuse.
4. Do not use it outdoors.
5. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and
sharp edges.
6. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it
immediately.
7. When cleaning or putting it away, turn off the appliance and always pull out the plug from
the socket if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
8. Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always
turn off machine or remove the plug from the socket.
9. Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a regular basis. Do not use the
appliance if it is damaged.
10. Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized technician.
11. Use only original spare parts.
12. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent
orasimilarlyqualiedpersontoavoidahazard.
13. It is recommended to check regularly the supply cable for any sign of possible deterioration,
and the appliance should not be used if the cable is damaged.
14. The appliance is not intended to be operated via an external timer or a separate remote-
control system.
15. To ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes,
polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
16. Caution! Do not allow small children to play with the them as there is a danger of
suffocation!
17. To protect children or frail individuals from the hazards of electrical equipment, please
ensure that this device is only used under supervision. This device is not a toy. Do not
allow small children to play with it.
18. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
19. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
20. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe

21. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or
approaching parts that move in use.
22. It is normal for the compressor and condenser surface to reach temperatures between 70°C
and 90°C during operation and surrounding areas may be very hot.
23. Due to fast freezing, ice cubes may appear “Cloudy”. This is air trapped in the water and will
not affect quality or taste of ice.

Before rst use
1. During transportation, the incline angle of the cabinet should not be over 45°. Do not turn the
ice maker upside down as this may damage the compressor and sealed system.
2. Remove all packing material and carefully check your ice maker to ensure it is in good condi-
tion and that there is no damage to the ice maker or its power cord and plug.
3. The ice maker should be placed horizontally on a level surface. To ensure proper ventilation for
your ice maker allow 150mm of space at the top, the back and on each side. Do not install the
ice maker near an oven, radiator, or any other heat source.
4. Beforeusingtheicemakerforthersttime,pleasewait2hoursafterpositioningit,andkeep
the front lid open for at least 2 hours.
5. Ensure that the voltage indicated on the ice maker corresponds with the voltage in your home.
Control Panel Operation
• ON/OFF: Press it to turn unit on or off.
• ADD WATER: This indicator will light up and a long noise will sound. You will need to add wa-
ter and press “STOP”, then “START” to restart the ice maker.
• ICE FULL: This indicator will light up and a noise will sound when the ice has reached the
maximum capacity of the storage cabinet. Press “ON/OFF” button to restart the ice maker after
some of the ice has been taken away.
