• The button cell is already in the battery compartment. Remove
the contact strip by opening the battery compartment as
described below.
Replace the battery
ATTENTION! Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced incorrect-
ly. Only replace with the same or an equivalent battery type.
1. Open the battery compartment on the reverse of the remote
control by rotating the battery compartment cover anti-
clockwise with a coin or a screwdriver and removing it (open).
2. Replace the button cell, type CR 2032. Make sure the polarity is
correct (+ = facing up).
3. Replace the battery compartment cover and close it by rotating
it clockwise (close).
4. Press one of the ON/OFF buttons to check whether the remote
control works; if it does, the remote control lamp will light up.
Assigning a remote control button (A, B, C or D)
to a radio controlled receiver.
1. Press the desired button on the radio controlled receiver and
hold for about 3 seconds before releasing it. The function light
will ash for about 30 seconds (learning mode).
2. While the light is ashing (learning mode), press, e.g., ON
button A on the remote control to assign button A to the radio
controlled receiver.
3. As soon as the radio controlled receiver receives a valid button

Note: If the learning process fails, learning mode will stop after
about 30 seconds, and the function light will switch o.
4. The radio controlled receiver is ready for use after a successful
learning process. You may now plug a device into the socket
and switch it on and o using the remote control (observe max.
allowable wattage). The function light indicates the switching
state of the radio controlled receiver.
5. Repeat steps 1 - 4 to assign the desired buttons (A, B, C or D)

• Once assigned, button codes remain stored in memory, even if
the radio controlled receiver is not connected to the mains.
• To avoid system errors more than 65.000 randomly assigned
codes are available for the remote controls.
User Tips:
• Group switching can be implemented by assigning several
receivers in a row to the same remote control button (or all
receivers together, corresponds to a master button).
• By assigning several remote controls (several sets in the same
series) in a row to the same receiver, that receiver can also be
controlled by multiple remote controls.
Please note!
Up to 8 dierent button codes may be assigned to each radio
controlled receiver. Attempts to assign a ninth code will be refused
(function light ashes rapidly).
Deleting Assigned Button Codes
Deleting all button codes on a radio controlled receiver:
Press the button on the desired radio controlled receiver and hold
for more than 6 seconds. The corresponding function light ashes
