WARNING:

Never use, or allow others to use, this unit in combination with the following medical electronic devices,
(1) Medical electronic implants such as pacemakers,
(2) Electronic life support systems such as an artificial heart/lung,
(3) Portable electronic medical devices such as an electrocardiograph.

This scale passes a harmless and unnoticeable small electrical current through your body when tak-
ing a measurement. This electrical current is not felt while using the scale. This unit may cause the
above mentioned medical devices to malfunction.
•
This product is not intended for use by pregnant women.
•
This product is not intended for use by infants, toddlers, and children under 10 years of age.
•
Packaging materials are a deadly hazard for children and can cause suffocation. Remove all packaging
materials immediately and keep them away from children at all times.
•
Swallowing batteries and/or battery fluid can be extremely dangerous. Keep the battery and scale out
of the reach of children. Should a child, or any other person swallow a battery and/or battery fluid,
please call 911 immediately.
•
Should battery fluid leak and come into contact with your eyes or skin, immediately rinse with plenty
of clean water. Please call 911 immediately.
•
Batteries should not be charged or reactivated by any other means.
•
Batteries should not be taken apart, thrown in the fire or short circuited.
•
Do not step on the edge of the scale (e.g. when getting on or off), otherwise it may tip.
•
Do not jump on the scale.
•
Protect the scale against hard knocks, temperature fluctuations and heat sources which are too close
(e.g. stoves, heating radiators).
•
Do not drop the scale or drop any objects on it.
•
Do not step or stand on the scale when your body and/or feet are wet, for example after taking a bath
or shower. There is a danger of slipping.
•
Do not step on the scale when its surface is wet. There is a danger of slipping.
•
Do not use the unit on slippery surfaces such as wet floors. There is a danger of slipping.
•
This product does not and is not intended to provide a medical diagnosis. For medical advice please

Please be aware that values obtained from this body analysis scale represent only an approximation of
actual analytical medical data. Only a specialist physician can accurately determine body fat, body water
and muscle percentage using special medical procedures (e.g. computed tomography).

Make sure that you enter the desired unit of mass regarding the weight results.

Always consult your physician to determine what will be suitable for you.
•
This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children.

People with disabilities, such as impairments, activity limitations, and participation restrictions, or who
are physically frail, should be assisted by another person when using this scale.

Do not step on the scale if you weigh more than 441 lb (200 kg, 31 st : 7 lb). When in doubt contact your
physician.

Do not weigh more than one person on the scale at one time.
•
Do not use this product for any purpose other than weighing human beings.
•
Place the scale on level flooring, otherwise it may tip.
•
If the glass platform is damaged, there could be risk of danger or injuries caused by broken glass.
CAUTION:

This unit is intended for home use only. It is not intended for professional use in hospitals or other medi-
cal facilities. This unit does not support the standards required for professional use.
•
Please note that technically related measuring tolerances are possible, as the scale is not calibrated
for professional medical applications.
•
If a battery has leaked do not touch the battery fluid. Avoid skin contact (e.g. put on protective gloves)
and clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth.
•
Carefully step on the scale surface. Pay attention to avoid stepping with your toes under the scale sur-
face. This might lead to injuries.
•
Do not disassemble this unit. You could get injured.
•
Do not put your fingers in any slot, inside or under the scale.
