jected to direct sunlight, vibration, dust,
heat, cold and moisture.
► Do not set the appliance up in the vicinity
of heat sources such as radiators.
► Fit the outdoor sensor at a maximum
distance of 30 m from the temperature
station. Ensure that there are no disruptive
obstacles between the outdoor sensor
and the temperature station. Otherwise,
transmission can be disrupted.
♦ Both the temperature station and the
outdoor sensor can be suspended from
a screw using the hangers and .7 t

NOTE
It is possible that no signal can be received
due to the surrounding buildings or because
the distance is too great.
If you are unable to establish an automatic
connection to the outdoor sensor, you can
do this manually:
♦ Press and hold the button until 0
the reception signal ashes on the
outdoor temperature panel4.
The temperature station automatically starts to
receive the DCF signal after 3minutes, irre-
spective of whether the outdoor sensor recep-
tion search has been successful or not.
The reception symbol ashes on the time
panel . If the DCF signal is being received 1
correctly, the current central European Time
(CET) is displayed on the time panel and 1
the date and weekday are displayed on the
date panel . In addition, the reception 3
symbol is permanently displayed on the
time panel . 1

The DCF signal
The DCF signal (time signal transmitter) consists
of time impulses which are transmitted by the
most accurate clock in the world – near Frank-
furt am Main, Germany.
Under ideal conditions, the radio temperature
station can receive the signals up to a distance
of around 2000 km from Frankfurt am Main.
Reception of these DCF signals normally takes
between 3 and 5 minutes. If reception of the
DCF signal fails, the temperature station will
stop trying to establish reception after around
7 minutes.
Reception can be considerably restricted by
obstacles (e.g. concrete walls) or interference
sources (e.g. other electronic appliances).
If necessary, you should change the location
of the temperature station (e.g. put it by a
window) if reception problems continue.
Displays in basic mode
Once the temperature station has received the
outdoor sensor signal and the DCF signal, it is
in basic mode.
In basic mode, the temperature station shows
the following information on its display:

AFT 77 A1 GB│IE
│NI │ 13 ■
The time panel1
The time is shown
in 24-hour format
by default. If you
select the 12-hour
format in the basic
settings, the abbreviation (Latin: “post

time between 12 noon and 11.59 at night.
The abbreviation (Latin: “ante meridiem” =
morning) is shown in front of the time between
12 midnight and 11.59 in the morning. During
the summer period, (daylight saving time)
is displayed. This display is only shown if the
DCF signal is being received.
The date panel3
The current date appears under
the display and the current
month under the display .
The abbreviation for the current
weekday is shown to the right of
the display . The language for this abbrevi-
ation is preset to German but can be changed
if required.

above this range.
The temperature trend is shown to the left of
the temperature display. The following displays
are possible:

Sikkerhedsanvisninger for
batterier
FARE
Forkert håndtering af batterier kan
føre til brand, eksplosioner, udløb
af farlige stoffer eller andre farlige
situationer!
► Batterier er ikke legetøj og skal holdes uden
for børns rækkevidde. Opbevar batterierne,
Bland
ikke gamle batterier med nye!
► Brug udelukkende den angivne batteritype.
► Sørg for, at polerne vender rigtigt, når du sæt-
ter batterierne i. Det er vist i batterirummet.
► Rengør batteriernes og produktets kontak-

Visninger i grundmodus
Når temperaturstationen har modtaget udesenso-
rens signal og DCF-signalet, er den i grundmodus.
I grundmodus viser temperaturstationen følgen-
de informationer på displayet:
Klokkeslætfeltet 1
Klokkeslættet vises
i et forindstillet 24-ti-
mers-format. Hvis der
vælges 12-timers-for-
mat i grundindstillin-
tet. I løbet af sommertiden vises (engelsk
for Daylight Saving Time = sommertid). Denne
visning er kun mulig, hvis DCF-signalet modtages.
Datofeltet 3
Under visningen (engelsk
for dato) vises den aktuelle dato,
og under visningen (en-
gelsk for måned) vises den aktuel-
le måned. Til højre for visningen
(engelsk for dag) vises forkortelsen for den
aktuelle ugedag. Sproget for denne forkortelse
er forindstillet på tysk, men kan ændres.
Læs
nærmere i kapitlet Grundindstillinger.

Temperaturfeltet indendørs2
Den indendørs temperatur,
som måles af temperatursta-
tionen, vises med en indde-
ling på en tiendedel grad.
Øverst til højre vises tempera-
turenheden (for grad celsius). Temperaturen-
heden kan også ændres til (grad fahrenheit).
Hvis vises, er temperaturen under måleom-
rådet fra 0 °C til 50 °C (eller 32 °F til 122 °F),
og ved visning af er temperaturen over.
Til venstre for temperaturvisningen vises tempe-
raturtrenden. Følgende visninger er mulige:
= temperaturen stiger.
= temperaturen er konstant.
= temperaturen falder.
Hvis batterisymbolet vises til venstre for
temperaturvisningen, skal batterierne til tempe-
raturstationen udskiftes så hurtigt som muligt
(se endvidere kapitlet Første anvendelse af
temperaturstationen).
Temperaturfeltet udendørs 4
Udetemperaturen vises med
en inddeling på en tiendedel
grad. Øverst til højre vises
temperaturenheden (for
grad celsius). Temperaturen-
heden kan også ændres til (grad fahrenheit).
Hvis vises, er temperaturen under måleområ-
det på -20 °C til 60 °C (eller -4 °F til 140 °F),
og ved visning af er temperaturen over.

■ 44 │ DK
Til venstre for temperaturvisningen vises tempe-
raturtrenden. Følgende visninger er mulige:
= temperaturen stiger.
= temperaturen er konstant.

peraturvisningen, skal batterierne til udesenso-
