7 Introduction
Thank you for your purchase of the Ambient Weather WS-15 Wireless 8-Channel Thermometer with
Plastic Waterproof Probe Thermometer with Daily Min/Max Display. The following user guide
provides step by step instructions for installation, operation and troubleshooting. To download the

The WS-15 supports any combination of the following sensors and receivers (additional sensors and
receivers are sold separately):

8- annel sensor measures probe temperature. ch
Applications include refrigerators and freezers (where
the probe is placed inside the appliance(s) and the
display is outside), water temperature, soil temperature
and ground temperature.
F007PF
8-channel pool oat thermometer. Applications include
pools, spas, and lakes.
WS-14-C
Add as many display consoles as you like to your
existing system. For example, you can have one remote
sensor display temperature and place a display console
in every room.

8 Getting Started
Note: The power up sequence must be performed in the order shown in this section (insert
batteries in the remote transmitter(s) rst, Display Console second).
The -15 weather station consists of a display console (receiver), and a probe thermometer (remote WS
transmitter).

2.2 Probe Thermometer Sensor Set Up
Note: Use only high quality rechargeable batteries. We recommend fresh alkaline batteries for
temperature ranges between -4 and 140 and fresh lithium batteries for temperature ranges °F °F
between -40 °F and 140 °F.
