Heavy Duty Shelving Unit
Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new
shelving unit. You have purchased a high-quality
shelving unit. Please familiarize yourself with the
shelving unit before assembling it. Read and follow these
assembly instructions and the safety messages. Only use
the shelving unit as specied and for the indicated pur-
poses. Keep these assembly instructions in a safe loca-
tion. If you pass the shelving unit on to others, always
include these assembly instructions.
Intended Use
The shelving unit is intended for storage. The shelving
unit is only intended for private indoor use. Use only the
enclosed mounting hardware and never modify the shelv-
ing unit since this can result in injuries and / or damage the
shelving unit. The manufacturer assumes no liability for in-
juries and damage due to improper use. The shelving unit
is not intended for commercial use.
Never leave children unattended! The shelving
unit is not intended for climbing or playing! Do not allow
people, especially children, to climb on or lean against
the shelving unit. This may result in death, injuries
and / or damage.

the shelving unit out of the reach of children. The shelving
unit is not a toy.
Make sure you will not be drilling into electrical, gas or
water lines inside the wall. Death or injury due to elec-
tric shock may otherwise result!
Always wear safety gloves to protect hands
from cuts, pinching and bruising.
Verify that all assembly hardware is undamaged and
the shelving unit is assembled correctly.
385.80 lbs
Never exceed the maximum load of 385.80 lbs
per shelf. Otherwise the shelving unit might
break or collapse and cause death, injuries
or damage.
The post with the weight limit must be installed in plain
sight (front). Exceeding the weight limit may cause
the shelving unit to collapse or tip, resulting in
death, injuries and / or damage to the shelving unit!
Make sure the person assembling the shelving unit has
read the assembly instructions. If assembled incor-
rectly, the shelving unit may collapse or tip, result-
ing in death or injuries!
Always set up the shelving unit on solid, level ground.
The shelving unit may otherwise tip, possibly re-
sulting in death or injuries!
Verify the shelving unit is sturdy before using it.
The shelving unit may otherwise collapse or tip,

Always spread the load evenly – do not overload.

After assembly, verify all parts are connected rmly.

Anchor the shelving unit securely to the wall! The

Before anchoring, verify the wall will support the shelv-
ing unit. When in doubt, consult a licensed contractor.

Wall-mounting hardware ( 7, 8) suitable for standard
solid brickwork are included. The type of screw required
varies by wall construction. Always use screws and
mounting hardware suitable for the actual wall. Other-
wise the shelving unit may tip potentially resulting

Assembly
The heavy duty shelving unit can be assembled vertically or
horizontally.

You will need the following tools (not included):
· Philips head screwdriver
· Power drill
· for brick walls: ⅜ masonry bit
· for walls with studs (2 x 4): 1/8 wood drill bit
· Rubber mallet

Step 1
Always wear safety gloves to protect hands
from cuts, pinching and bruising.
Attach corner brackets 5 to the posts 1 to
prevent scratching the oor.
Attach 2 long crossbars 2 and 2 short crossbars 3 to
the posts 1 by inserting them in the designated notches
and carefully tapping in place with a rubber mallet.

Step 1
When installing the crossbars 2, 3, make sure the
support edge for the shelves 6 is facing up. Installing the
crossbars incorrectly may affect the safety and function.
Step 2
Install the connectors 4 into the posts 1 from the top
and tap in place with a rubber mallet. Install another
post 1 on each connector 4 and carefully tap in place
with a rubber mallet.

Step 2
Install the post 1 with the weight limit sticker so that
the weight limit sticker is visible from the front. Exceed-
ing the weight limit may result in death, injuries and / or
damage to the shelving unit because the shelving unit
may tip over or collapse.
Step 3
Now install the remaining crossbars 2, 3 at the de-
sired height as described in step 1.
