Strona 1/2
CV INPUT SECTION - CV Inputs for
Level and Pan control over each
channel respectively.
LEVEL expects a unipolar (0-5V)
signal, the channel fader acts as an
attenuator.
PAN expects a bipolar signal (-5V
to +5V), the pan pot acts as an
offset.
OUT - Master stereo outputs. This
s where the entire mix comes
together. Level controlled by the
MASTER knob.
MONO OUTPUT - The entire mix is
summed to mono then sent out of
this output. This output is depen-
dent of the MASTER knob’s level.
Sum all inputs to mono to check
your mix or to simplify your out, or
to route to sub woofer amps.
CUE OUTPUT - Unity gain sum of
all cued channels. Not affected by
the CUE MIX knob.
PHONES OUTPUTS - Stereo output
with built in headphone amplifier
n both 3.5mm and ¼” configura-
tions. No adapter? No problem.
Collaborating? Have no fear, both
outputs work simultaneously.
Output source is determined by the
CUE MIX knob, level from the CUE/
PHONES knob.
MONO AUDIO INPUTS - Channels 1-6 each feature two mono
inputs that can selected or summed via the 3-way toggle switch
(A/B) in the channel strip section.
STEREO AUDIO INPUTS - Channels 7 & 8 are both
true Stereo channels with two inputs each. Each
input is routed to the left and right master outputs.
Channels can be mono if only the left input is used.
AUX I/O SECTION -
AUX RETURN - Two mono, unity
gain inputs for returning signals
from the Auxiliary outputs or any
mono audio source. Sums to the
main mix at unity, mono to stereo.
AUX OUTS - Mono output for rout-
ing signals to external gear via the
AUX control for each channel.
AUX CV INPUTS - Control the mas-
ter level of the AUX outputs with
CV.
MIX IN - Stereo
unity gain inputs
for adding a sub-
mix from another
mixer or external
audio source.
SEND OUTPUTS - Stereo send for routing to external audio processors
such as a bus compressor.
RETURN INPUTS - Stereo unity gain inputs for returning audio signals from
external audio processors or any stereo external audio source. Plugging in
here will cut the main signal going to the outputs.
AUX SWITCH - Selects
which AUX to send to.
Middle position is off.
AUX KNOB - Attenuates
the amount of each
channel’s signal being
sent to the AUX out.
PAN KNOB - Left
or Right? The
decision is yours.
Pan position is
visually indicated
by PAN LEDs.
PRE I POST I X SWITCH - Select whether you’d like the chan-
nel to be sent to the aux before or after the position of the
fader. disregards fader level meaning the signal is sent PRE
to the aux attenuator at unity even if the fade is all the way
down. When switch is set to POST, the signal sent to the aux
is dependent of the fader’s position. The middle turns off the
AUX send for that channel. Why two ways to mute the AUX
for each channel? Set and forget one, perform with the other!
FADER - Level con-
trol from -infinity
(symbol) to +5dB.
Below -30dB, the
signal is cut com-
pletely to eliminate
bleed from the
signal path.
DBU METER - Level of the internal
Mix bus. This is not affected by the
MASTER knob.
GAIN KNOB - Attenuate or boost
the incoming signal up to 12 dB.
A I AB I B SWITCH - Use this switch
to select which input you will hear
on that channel. AB Sums the two
inputs together at unity gain.
PM MUTES EXPANDER PM CHANNELS EXPANDER
SPECIFICATIONSWHAT DOES IT DO?
PM MUTES Allows you to directly
mute any channel or group of
channels instantly. It also adds
CV control over channel 1-4s AUX
sends.
INPUTS - Two sets of
Left and Right inputs
for each stereo channel.
Use Left for mono.
A / B SWITCH - Use this
switch to select which
set of inputs you will
hear on that channel.
AB Sums both sets of
inputs together at unity
gain.
CV INPUTS - Voltage
Control over Gain, Level,
Pan, and the Aux Send
level for both channels
PERFORMANCE MIXER:
Size: 40HP wide, 45mm deep
Power consumption: +450mA, -430mA
Channel gain (1-6): +-12dB
Fader level: OFF to -30dB to +5dB gain
Headphones: 10dBV High Quality Stereo Output
PM MUTES EXPANDER:
Size: 6HP wide, 45mm deep
Power consumption: +20mA, -5mA
PM CHANNELS EXPANDER:
Size: 10HP wide, 45mm deep
Power consumption: +120mA, -120mA
With the renaissance of modular
in full swing, people are playing
out more and still lugging big
consoles to gigs. Most of these
boards are not ideal for modular,
let alone live patching.
The WMD PERFORMANCE MIXER
combines a traditional four bus
console with a DJ mixer and adds
CV over nearly everything. The
PM gives you fast control over
your signal flow with an intuitive
interface to make live patching
on stage or in the studio predict-
able and on point.
The Cue system and selectable
input routing allow patches to be
tested before going to the mains
giving you confidence during im-
provisation.
The signal path is extremely
clean and quiet, with VCAs that
close completely, and without
popping. The faders are like a
warped “S”, giving a natural re-
sponse. Panning is equal power
that fully closes on full rotation.
The inputs and gain circuit can
be overloaded nicely, without
fear of damage or bleed. You can
blast the main mix hard, it will
clip but doesn’t get nasty until
you really push.
The PM MUTES expander groups
the mute buttons for channels
1-8, 9-10 (channels expander),
and Aux 1 and 2. The expander
also provides Aux send level for
channels 1-4.
Eight channels (two stereo) pro-
vide enough room for drum mix-
es and multiple voices. If eight is
too few, you can sum another
mix directly with the PM’s main
mix. There is also a stereo PM
CHANNELS expander module.
AUX SEND CV - Independent CV
control over the aux send level of
the first 4 channels on the mixer.
Aux knobs become offsets for CV.
MUTES - Push to mute. Button
turns red when channel is muted.
COMBO - Mute or unmute multiple
channels at once by holding this
button and selecting which chan-
nels you’d like to mute. Action will
occur on release of the COMBO
button.
Simply attach the included cable to the 16-pin connectors
on the bottom of the PM MUTES and the bottom right of the
PERFORMANCE MIXER, keeping the red stripe down.
Simply attach the included cable to the 20-pin connectors
on the upper left of the PM CHANNELS and the top right of
the PERFORMANCE MIXER, keeping the red stripe down.
PM CHANNELS puts
two more stereo chan-
nels at your fingertips.
