IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put appliance in
water or other liquid.
3. Always unplug from outlet prior to handling or cleaning.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off
parts and before cleaning.
6. Avoid contact with moving parts.
7. Do not operate the Waring® Blender or any other electrical
equipment with a damaged cord or plug, or after the unit
malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return
it to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair,
or adjustment.
8. The use of attachments, including canning jars, not recommended
or sold by Waring may cause re, electric shock, or injury.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
11. Keep hands and utensils out of jar while blending, to prevent the
possibility of severe personal injury and/or damage to the blender.
A rubber spatula may be used, but must be used only when the
blender is not running.
12. Blade is sharp. Handle carefully.CAUTION:
13. Always operate blender with lid in place.
14. When blending hot liquids, remove center piece of two-piece cover.
See hot blending instructions, page 8.
15. The use of ear protection is recommended during extended
operating periods.
16. Do not leave blender unattended while it is running.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
• Foryourprotection,Waring® blenders are equipped with a 3-conductor
cordset having a molded 3-prong grounding-type plug, and should be
used in combination with a properly connected grounding-type outlet as
showninFigureA.Ifagrounding-typeoutletisnotavailable,anadapter,
asshowninFigureB,maybeusedtoenablea2-slotwalloutlettobe
used with a 3-prong plug.*
AsshowninFigureC,theadaptermustbegroundedbyattachingits
grounding lug under the screw of the outlet cover plate.
CAUTION:Beforeusinganadapter,itmustbedeterminedthatthe
outletcoverplatescrewisproperlygrounded.Ifindoubt,consulta
licensed electrician.
Never use an adapter unless you are sure it is properly grounded.
*NOTE: Use of an adapter is not permitted in Canada.
NOTE: User-installed cord set plugs are not permitted in Europe.

button to adjust the blending speed. The LCD will show the setting
speed and motor speed will change.
NOTE:Thespeedcanbesetfrom15%to100%.Oncethe Pulse
button is released, the motor will shut off and the blender will to return
to standby mode. The changed pulse speed will be stored in memory to
replace the default speed at 100%.
REPROGRAMMABLE STATIONS
1. Thereare4ProgramButtonsforfourreprogrammablebeveragestations
for easy operation and consistent results. The factory-set stations are
programmed as listed below:
Liquid drinks
Frozendrinks
Icecreamdrinks
Smoothies
2. To run any of the above preset programs, blender must be in
standby mode.
3. Press desired Program button to start the blender. The motor will run at
the pre-set speed within the preset blending time. The LCD will show time
remaining.Oncetheblendercountsdownto0,themotorwillstop
running and the blender will return to standby mode and prompt
PRESSANYBUTTONTOBLEND.
NOTE:Toterminateablendingprogram,simplypressStart/Stop
button or any of the program buttons. After doing this, the blender will
returntostandbymodeandLCDwillpromptPRESSANYBUTTON
TOBLEND.
REPROGRAMMING BEVERAGE STATIONS
Users can add 4 new programs to meet their needs. A program can
consist of several sections, each with a different speed and running time.
Forexample, can be replaced with a new program that has 3 sections,
as shown below:
Section 1: speed = 75%, time = 30 seconds
Section 2: speed = 100%, time = 20 seconds
Section 3: speed = 50%, time = 20 seconds
The program has the following limitations:
Speed: 15% to 100%
Time: 5 to 90 seconds
Totalrunningtimeinaprogramcannotexceed90seconds,i.e.,sum
of the Sections cannot be longer than 90 seconds.

RESTORING FACTORY-SET BEVERAGE STATIONS
1. To restore factory-set default beverage stations, press both
Speed Up and Speed Down buttons. LCD will prompt ADD NEW
PROGRAM.
2. Press button.LCDwillpromptRESTOREDEFAULTPROGRAMS.
3. Press button to confirm and save. The LCD will display the logo for
3 seconds.
4. The unit will return to standby mode and the LCD will prompt PRESS
ANYBUTTONTOBLEND.
NOTE: The Stop key will abort this process at any point before
restoring default programs is confirmed.
DRINK COUNTER
Your reprogrammable blenders are equipped with a drink counter to keep
track of daily drink totals and total drink counts for your machine. To display
the counts, hold program buttons & simultaneously for 3 seconds.
Your display will read:
DAILYCOUNTXXXX
TTLCOUNTXXXXX
DailyCountwilldisplaythenumbersofdrinksmixedperday.TotalCount
is the accumulation of all drinks made since first use of the blender.
The Daily Count can be reset by holding in program buttons &
simultaneouslyfor3secondsthen,pressing(ON/OFF)buttonfor3seconds.
DailyCountwillresettozeroandTotalCountwillremainunchanged.
IfTotalCountneedstobereset,callyournearestWaringauthorizedservice
facility for information.
NOTE: Use of the PULSE features will not add to the daily or total drink
counts.
RESETTING THERMAL PROTECTION
• Yourblenderisequippedwithanautomaticresetfunctiontoprotectthe
motor from overheating.
• Ifyoublenderstopsrunningunderheavyuse,turnthepowerswitchto
Offandunplugthepowercord.Emptytheblendercontainerofall
its contents and allow between 5 and 30 minutes for the motor to
cool down.
• Plugthepowercordbackintotheoutletandcontinueblending.
• Ifyourblenderdoesnotfunctionproperlyfollowingthisprocedure,
discontinue use and contact a certified Waring Customer Service Center.

• Cleanandsanitizemotorbasepriortoinitialuseandaftereachuse.
• Washingsolutionsbasedonnon-sudsingdetergentsandchlorine-based
sanitizingsolutionshavingaminimumchlorineconcentrationof100PPM
are recommended.
Thefollowingwashing,rinsing,andsanitizingsolutionsortheirequivalents
may be used.

• Inrepetitivebatch-processingapplications,frequentcleaningofthecon-
tainerwillprolongthelifeofthebladeassembly.Innocaseshouldactual
runningtimebetweencleaningsexceedone-halfhour.
• Donotusecontainertostoreprocessedfoodsorbeverages.
To Wash and Rinse Container
1. REMOVECONTAINERFROMMOTORBASE.Removelid.Rinse
container interior and lid under running water. Add washing solution to
container. Scrub and flush out the container interior and lid to dislodge
and remove as much food residue as possible. Empty container.
2. Wipedownexteriorofcontainerwithasoftclothorspongedampened
with washing solution. NOTE:Bladesaresharp.Handlecarefully.
Washlidandlidinsertinfreshwashingsolution.Fillcontainerone-quarter
full with fresh washing solution, cover, place on motor base, and run on
high speed for one (1) minute. Empty container.
3. Repeat step (2), using clean rinse water in place of washing solution.

LIMITED TWO YEAR WARRANTY
Waring warrants every new Waring®CommercialBlendertobefreefromdefects
in material and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase
when used with foodstuffs, nonabrasive liquids (other than detergents) and
nonabrasivesemi-liquids,providingithasnotbeensubjecttoloadsinexcessof
theindicatedrating.Inaddition,themotorinthisappliancehasafullthree-year
warranty.
Under this warranty, Waring, during the warranty period, will repair or replace
anypartwhich,uponourexamination,isdefectiveinmaterialsorworkmanship,
provided the product is delivered prepaid to the Waring Service Center at: 314
Ella T. Grasso Ave. Torrington, CT 06790, or any Factory Approved Service
Center.
This warranty does not: a) apply to any product which has become worn, defective,
damaged or broken due to use or due to repairs or servicing by other than the
WaringServiceCenteroraFactoryApprovedServiceCenter,orduetoabuse,
misuse, overloading or tampering; or b) cover incidental or consequential
damages of any kind.
The two-year warranty is applicable only to appliances used in the United States
or Canada; this supersedes all other express product warranty or warranty
statements. For Waring products sold outside of the U.S. and Canada, the
warranty is the responsibility of the local importer or distributor. This warranty
may vary according to local regulations.
