1. Introduction

service. If the device was damaged in transit, do not install or use it and contact your dealer.
2. Safety Instructions
Keep the cord away from the moving parts of the machine.
Switch the machine off immediately if it jams and remove the plug from the mains.
Compare the max. number of revolutions for the accessories with the number of revolutions of the
device.
When you store the device, the engine must be switched off and all moving parts must have reached
a standstill.
Do not use collets with a piece of string or such attached to it.
Never engage the collet lock button while the device is in use.
Make sure the shaft diameter of the accessory matches that of the collet nut.
Secure the work piece with a clamping device. Always be careful when handling the device.
Keep your hands away from the work piece when using the drill.
Do not use the device in a damp or wet environment or near inflammable liquids or gases.
Always wear safety goggles and ear protection. Avoid wearing loose clothing or jewellery.
Inspect the power cord and the device before every use.
Keep the device away from children and unauthorized persons.

5. Mounting Accessories
Always remove the plug from the mains prior to assembly. Hold the collet lock button while unscrewing
the collet nut and screw the accessory in place. Hold the collet lock button while you are fastening the
collet nut. Do not operate the collet lock button while the device is still connected with the mains.
6. Operation
Switch on the device by engaging the -off switch. Set the desired speed with the speed dial. The on
engine can burn out if too high a load is used at low speed. Only put the device down when the engine
has stopped completely. Do not store the device in a dusty environment as dust particles may penetrate
the mechanics. Always wear safety goggles when using this device.
This device should be used at high speeds for: carving and drilling, working with glass, metals and
hardwood.
This device should be used at low speeds for: polishing, delicate work, most plastic materials.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance
The device does not require any particular maintenance. Clean the casing regularly with a soft cloth when
you are through. Do not use oils or solvents such as alcohol, ammonia, etc. These substances damage
the plastic parts. Remove all dirt and dust from the ventilation slots. Do not get liquid inside the tool.
