QUICK INSTALLATION GUIDE
The CE symbol ensures the product complies with European directives on safety,
electromagnetic compatibility and signage. The related certificate of conformity can be
requested from: Mediasat Srl, Via Enrico Fermi 34 I 39100 Bolzano (BZ)- , Italy.
Pursuant to art. 13 of the legislative decree of 25 July 2005, no. 15 "Implementation of Directives 2002/95/EC,
2002/96/EC and 2003/108/EC, concerning the reduction of the use of hazardous substances in electrical and
electronic equipment, as well as the disposal of waste".
This symbol on the product indicates that the product must be disposed of separately from other household waste at
the end of its useful life.
Therefore, it should be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic
equipment or returned to the dealer at the time of purchasing a replacement device on a 1:1 basis. By ensuring that
this equipment is disposed, decommissioned or recycled correctly, you will help prevent any potential negative impact
on the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate handling of this product,
and help to conserve natural resources.
Information for users pursuant to the Legislative Decree of 20 November 2008, no. 188 "Implementation of
Directive 2008/103/EC concerning batteries, accumulators and disposal of related waste".
Batteries are required for the remote control. Do not mix different types of batteries and do not use old and new
batteries at the same time. Do not use rechargeable batteries. To avoid the potential risk of explosion, observe the
polarities indicated inside the battery compartment. Replace only with the type specified in the battery compartment.
Do not throw batteries onto naked flame and do not recharge. If the remote control is not going to be used for a long
time, remove the batteries. Respect the environment and the law. Batteries must be disposed of separately from
other household waste.
The illegal disposal of the product by the user will lead to the administrative sanctions referred to in Legislative
Decree no. 22/1997 (article 50 and following of Legislative Decree no. 22/1997) being applied.

The manufacturer guarantees that this product will be free from defects in construction or materials under
normal use for a period of twenty four months, without prejudice to compliance with the instructions for use -
and maintenance. The warranty starts from the date the product is purchased from the retailer.
Warranty conditions
1. If it is necessary to use the warranty, please contact the dealer you purchased the product from.
2. Should you need to use the warranty, the product's proof of purchase must be presented in the form of
a copy of the original invoice or the receipt issued by the retailer, or a related confirmation. The device's
serial number must be legible.
3. The authorised service centre reserves the right at its sole discretion to fulfil its obligations by repairing
or replacing the product, even with a product with identical or superior performance, or by replacing the
defective parts, as necessary. Any use of the warranty conditions, repair or replacement of individual
parts or components does not lead to an extension of the original warranty period. After repair, the
replaced parts are to remain at the authorised service centre.
4. This warranty is limited to defects in materials and construction. This excludes:
- periodic checks, adjustments, software updates, maintenance and the replacement of parts subject to
normal wear and tear;
- damage caused by accidents, negligence, modifications, improper use or incorrect setting up;
- damage caused by lightning, overvoltages, liquids, fire, acts of war, vandalism, incorrect or
insufficient grounding or a lack thereof, insufficient ventilation or from other causes not attributable to
the manufacturer;
- damage caused by repairs carried out by unauthorised service centres/unauthorised persons and/or
by the use of non-original spare parts;
- illegible;products on which the label bearing the serial number has been removed or made
- travel expenses and costs resulting from the removal/installation of the product.
5. Expenses resulting from warranty repairs performed by unauthorised service centres or unauthorised
persons will not be reimbursed.
6. All expenses related to repairs and requests on the basis of which there is no defect to the product are
the responsibility of the user. This also applies to costs related to the installation and the illustration of
the rules for use of the appliance.
7. The manufacturer declines any liability related to the indirect or consequential loss of or damage to
accessories.
8. These warranty conditions are without prejudice to the rights granted to the consumer according to the
provisions of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) or by other national laws.

General Use
By reading this manual you will find that the use of this product is based on simple functions displayed via various
on screen menus.-
These menus allow the user to benefit from the product's full range of features and will guide them through
installation, set up, viewing and various other functions.
All functions are easily accessible via the remote control
The receiver can be easily adapted to future needs.
Software updates may result in changes to the product's operation.
If any problems are encountered during use, please consult your dealer.
CAUTION - IMPORTANT NOTICE
If the appliance switches off automatically after 3 hours, this is not a defect.
The Diginova 23CI+ switches off automatically after 3 hours of inactivity and enters standby mode
when not in use (if there is no user activity, such as a change of channel, for example).
The automatic shut-off is -set by the factory. This function can, however, be deactivated pre
through the "Power Settings" menu.

This appliance has been manufactured according to international safety standards. Please read the following safety
precautions carefully. Follow these instructions to avoid damaging the product.
POWER SUPPLY / GROUNDING
This product should only be connected to an electrical power supply network with the specifications indicated on
the related label. In the event of any uncertainty about the power supply in your home, consult the local energy

Do not overload mains power outlets, extension cables or adapters to avoid the risk of fire or electric shock.
POSITIONING

Do not cover the ventilation openings on the receiver to ensure the free circulation of air. Avoid blocking openings
with objects and do not place the product on beds, sofas, blankets or similar surfaces If the product is installed on
a rack or in a piece of furniture, make sure that you have followed the manufacturer's assembly instructions and
that there is adequate ventilation.
