LED Radio-Controlled Clock WS 6840

Key Features:

` DCF-77 radio controlled

` 12/24 H display.

` Time zone setting: -12 to +12 Hour.

` Dual Alarm with snooze function

` Indoor Temperature display in °C/°F

` Outdoor Temperature display in °C/°F

Power on or Reset:

` After power on or Reset, all LEDs turn on accordingly, buzzer beeps, unit enter RF Searching mode for Max. 3

minutes, then exit RF Searching mode and enter normal mode.

Clock setting:

` At normal mode, Press and hold the “MODE” key more than 2 seconds, can set 12/24HR Æ Æ Æ Hour Minute

Offset time.

` Corresponding icon flash at 1Hz, and press “UP” or “DOWN” ”key to set the value, and hold “UP” or “DOWN key for

fast increasing or decreasing.

` Press “MODE” key to confirm the setting and come to next setting, unit will return to Normal Mode after finish

setting.

F.Y.I.:

` At any other mode, if without key operation for 15 seconds, the unit will store current setting and return to Normal

Mode automatically.

` How to set Offset Time : Offset time means the time different between local time and Germany time; If local time is

1 hour faster than Germany time, then set the offset time to +1HR; If local time is 1 hour slower than Germany time,

then set the offset time to -1HR; Unit’s clock will automatically set to local time after receiving DCF signal

successfully.

Alarm Setting:

` At normal mode, Press “Mode” key to toggle the display among Clock Æ AL1 time Æ AL2 time, When AL1 or AL2

time be displayed ,press and hold “Mode” key more than 2 seconds to set Hour & Minute, corresponding icon

flash at 1Hz. press “UP” or “DOWN” key to set the value, and hold “UP” or “DOWN”key for fast increasing or

decreasing.

` When AL1 or AL2 icon flash, Press “Down” key to enable(Corresponding Alarm LED turn on) or

disable(Corresponding Alarm LED turn off) alarm. Unit will return to normal mode after finish setting

` Alarm sound crescendo for 2 minutes.

` During alarm, press “SNOOZE” key to stop the alarm and enable snooze function (Corresponding Alarm LED flash

at this status), the unit will alarm 5 minutes later.

` During alarm or Snooze function enable, press any other keys except “SNOOZE” key, will cancel the alarm or

Snooze function.

Indoor Temperature Measurement:

` Indoor Temperature measurement range: -9°C ~ +49°C, “LLL” will displayed if value lower than -9°C, “HHH” will

displayed if value higher than +49°C, resolution is 1°C/℉,accuracy is +/-1.5°C at 0°C ~ +40°C.

` Indoor temperature will be measured interval 30 seconds.

` At normal mode, press “DOWN“ key to select °C or °F.

` At normal mode, press “MEMORY“ key to display Max. or Min. indoor & outdoor temperature, Memory will cleared

if press & hold “MEMORY“ key more than 2 seconds.

RCC Receiving:

` At 1:00 /2:00 / 3:00 am, unit will automatically receive Ra , corresponding LED flash; If dio signal for Max. 7 minutes

receive successfully, Clock will be synchronized and RCC LED be on, otherwise RCC LED be off ;

` Press and hold the “WAVE“ key can enable or disable the RCC receiving manually.

F.Y.I.:

` We recommend a minimum distance of 2.5 meters to all sources of interference, such as televisions or computer

monitors

` Radio receiving is weaker in rooms with concrete walls (e.g.: in cellars) and in offices. In such extreme

circumstances, place the unit close to the window.

RF Receiving:

` At RF searching mode, “--.-” icons flash, unit will receive the RF signal from Outdoor Temperature Transmitter,

When outdoor temperature value be displayed ,indicate that the transmitter have been registered, and main unit

will exit RF searching mode immediately.

` Main unit only can register 1pc Transmitter.

` Transmission distance is up to 30m.

` If main unit display “--.-” ( Not flash ), it means that the transmitter have been lost link. Please press and hold

“UP“ key to enter RF searching mode (“--.-” icons flash ) to search the transmitter!

` When Outdoor Temperature Transmitter in Low Battery, “LO” (Indicate Transmitter in Low Battery status) &

“Temperature Value” will be displayed alternatively.

F.Y.I.:

` If Transmitter lost link frequently, please move the Transmitter close to main unit!

Weather Forecast:

` Weather forecast include Sunny / Partly Cloudy / Cloudy / Rainy.

Remarks:

1, To save power, when powered by batteries only, the unit will turn off display. And display turn on for 10

seconds if press any keys except “WAVE“ key.

2, Display will be always on if powered by adapter.

3, During RCC receiving, to lower interference , all LEDs off except RCC LED flash .
