Installation
1.Withthevideosourcedeviceanddisplaydevicespowered
o,connectamale/femaleDE-15VGAcablefromthe‘Input’
connectoronthesplittertotheVGAvideooutputonthesource
device.
2.Usinghighqualitymale/maleDE-15VGAcables,connecteach
displaydevicetotheVideoOutputconnectorsonthesplitter.
NOTE:Port1istheprimaryoutputsoEDIDinformationwillbetakenfrom
there.ThecapabilitiesofthedisplayonPort1willbeappliedtoallother
portssobecarefulnottoexceedthecapabilitiesoftheotherdisplays.
3.ConnecttheincludedpoweradapterfromanACelectricaloutlet
tothevideosplitter.The‘Power’LEDshouldlightupsolid.
4.Powerontheconnecteddisplaydevices,followedbythevideo
sourcedevice.Onceavalidvideosignalissenttothesplitter,the
‘Active’LEDshouldlightup.
Cascaded Installation
TheVGAvideosplittercanbecascaded/daisy-chainedwith
additionalVGAvideosplittersforexpandedcapabilities,suchas
moreportsandreachinggreaterdistances.
1.Makesurealldisplaysandthevideosourcedeviceareturnedo
beforeinstalling.
2.Tocascade/daisy-chainmultiplevideosplitterstogether,usea
male/femaleDE-15VGAcabletoconnectanyoneoftheVideo
Outconnectorsontheprimarysplitter,tothe‘Input’connector
onthesecondarysplitter.
3.AvideosplittercanbeconnectedtoeachVideoOutconnector
ontheprimarysplitter,ifrequired.
4.Uptothree(3)levelsofcascadingissupported,soconnecting
anothervideosplittertothesecondarysplitterispossible,
allowingforupto8(ST122PRO),64(ST124PRO),or512
(ST128PRO)videodisplaystobeconnectedtoasinglesource.
