1.1. Schließen Sie Ihr LNB an die Buchse „TO LNB“ und das Kabel vom
Receiver bzw. Multischalter verbinden Sie mit dem Anschluß „TO REC“.

2.2. Schalten Sie nun den Receiver bzw. den Multischalter ein. Wenn Sie das
richtige Kabel gewählt haben muss der SAT-Finder nun beleuchtet sein.

3.3. Richten Sie Ihre Antenne nun grob in die gewünschte Richtung aus. TIP:
Die in Europa empfangbaren Satelliten befinden sich am südlichen
Horizont. Die Standortpositionen der Satelliten werden vom Südpunkt aus
eingerichtet. Somit können Sie den Südpunkt grob als 0° Position
annehmen und von dort aus Richtung Osten (nach links) oder Westen
(nach rechts) drehen. Achten Sie auch auf den Höhenwinkel, den Sie an
Ihrer Antenne einstellen können.

4.4. Mit Hilfe des Pegelstellers können Sie die Empfi ndlichkeit des SAT-
Finders einstellen. Drehen Sie den Zeiger mit Hilfe des Pegelstellers auf
etwa 5, um ein optimales Einmessen zu ermöglichen. Gleichzeitig ertönt
ein akustisches Signal, welches immer lauter wird, je besser die Antenne
ausgerichtet ist. Bei Vollausschlag drehen Sie den Pegelsteller gegen den
Uhrzeigersinn wieder auf 5 zurück. Richten Sie die Antenne so aus, daß
Sie den höchsten Ausschlag bekommen.

5.5. Kontrollieren Sie an Ihrem Receiver, ob der gewünschte Satellit nun
empfangbar ist.

6.6. Nun können Sie den SAT-Finder entfernen und das LNB-Kabel mit Ihrem
Receiver verbinden.

1. Connect a jumper cable from the LNB/LNBF to the TO LNB connection “ ”
on the Satllite Finder.
2. Connect the cable from your satellite receiver to the TO REC Input on the “ ”
Satellite Finder.
3. Make sure your satellite receiver is on. The satellite Finder´s scale should be
lighted at this time and the meter reading should be around 2.
4. Set your dish to the proper azimuth and elevation settings. (This information
should be supplied with your dish)
5. Set the Satellite Finder´s scale reading to about 5 by adjusting the level
control found on the face of the Satellite Finder. (Turning the knob clockwise
will increase the reading.)
6. Peak the signal by slowly moving the azimuth and elevation of your dish. If
the Satellite Finder´s reading becomes full scale, adjust the level control
knob to reduce the reading to around 5.
7. Remove the jumper cable and Satellite Finder and reconnect the LNB/LNBF
to your receiver.
