Anweisungen für den sicheren Betrieb

Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8|Jahren und von Personen mit

reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten

oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden,

wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauches

des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden

Gefahren verstanden haben.

Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

Reinigung und Benutzerwartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder ohne Be-

aufsichtigung durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind älter als

8|Jahre und beaufsichtigt.

Kinder jünger als 8|Jahre sind vom Gerät und der Anschlussleitung

fernzuhalten.

Benutzen Sie dieses Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Badewan-

nen, Duschen, Waschbecken oder anderen Gefäßen, die

Wasser enthalten.

Dieses Gerät ist ebenfalls dazu bestimmt, im Haushalt und in haus-

haltsähnlichen Anwendungen verwendet zu werden,

wie beispielsweise ...

Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, mit einer externen Zeitschalt-

uhr oder einem separaten Fernwirksystem betrieben zu werden.

Öffnen Sie nicht den Deckel, während das Wasser kocht.

Befüllen Sie das Gerät nur bis zur maximalen Füllhöhe, da ansons-

ten kochendes Wasser herausspritzen kann.

Schließen Sie beim Erhitzen von Wasser unbedingt den Deckel, da

andernfalls kochendes Wasser herausspritzen kann!

Benutzen Sie den Wasserkocher nur mit dem gelieferten Geräte-

sockel.

Der Wasserkocher, der Gerätesockel, die Anschlussleitung und der

Netzstecker dürfen nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten ge-

taucht werden.

GEFAHR von Verletzungen

durch Verbrühen

~ Beugen Sie sich nicht über den Wasser-

kocher, wenn Sie den Deckel öffnen und

der Inhalt noch heiß ist. Es besteht die

Gefahr von Verbrühungen durch entwei-

chenden Wasserdampf.

~ Der Wasserkocher wird durch den Be-

trieb sehr heiß. Fassen Sie ihn nur am

Griff an und bedienen Sie nur die Entrie-

gelungstaste und den Ein-/Ausschalter.

WARNUNG vor Sachschäden

~ Das Gerät ist mit rutschfesten Silikonfü-

ßen ausgestattet. Da Möbel mit einer

Vielfalt von Lacken und Kunststoffen be-

schichtet sind und mit unterschiedlichen

Pflegemitteln behandelt werden, kann

nicht völlig ausgeschlossen werden,

dass manche dieser Stoffe Bestandteile

enthalten, die die Silikonfüße angreifen

und aufweichen. Legen Sie ggf. eine

rutschfeste Unterlage unter das Gerät.

~ Befüllen Sie das Gerät mit mindestens

0,7|Liter Wasser, da ansonsten das Ge-

rät überhitzen kann.

~ Füllen Sie auf keinen Fall Alkohol, Zu-

cker oder Milch in den Wasserkocher!

~ Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine stabile,

ebene Oberfläche.

~ Verwenden Sie keine scharfen oder

scheuernden Reinigungsmittel.

5. Inbetriebnahme

GEFAHR durch Stromschlag!

~ Schließen Sie den Netzstecker nur an

eine ordnungsgemäß installierte, leicht

zugängliche Steckdose mit Schutzkontak-

ten an, deren Spannung der Angabe auf

dem Typenschild entspricht. Die Steckdo-

se muss auch nach dem Anschließen

weiterhin leicht zugänglich sein.

~ Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker|6 nach je-

dem Gebrauch aus der Steckdose.

• Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungs-

material.

• Überprüfen Sie, ob alle Teile vorhanden

und unbeschädigt sind.

• Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine trockene,

ebene, rutschfeste Unterlage.

6. Vor dem ersten

Gebrauch

1. Füllen Sie den Wasserkocher|

bis zur

Markierung

MAX|1.7L

der Wasser-

standsanzeige|

und erhitzen Sie das

Wasser (siehe “Bedienen” auf Seite 7).

2. Gießen Sie das Wasser aus und spülen

Sie den Wasserkocher|2 mit frischem

Wasser aus.

3. Wiederholen Sie diesen Vorgang. Da-

nach ist das Gerät betriebsbereit.

8. Reinigen

GEFAHR durch Stromschlag!

~ Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker|6 aus der

Steckdose, bevor Sie den Wasserko-

cher|2 reinigen.

re Flüssigkeiten getaucht werden.

GEFAHR von Verletzungen

Der Wasserkocher|

wird durch den Be-

trieb sehr heiß. Lassen Sie ihn vor der Rei-

nigung abkühlen.

WARNUNG vor Sachschäden!

~ Verwenden Sie keine scharfen oder

scheuernden Reinigungsmittel.

Nach jedem Gebrauch

Reinigen Sie das Gerät möglichst nach je-

dem Gebrauch.

1. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker|6 aus der

Steckdose.

2. Wischen Sie den Wasserkocher|2, den

Gerätesockel|4 und die Anschlusslei-

tung|6 bei Bedarf mit einem leicht ange-

feuchteten Tuch ab. Wischen Sie mit

einem trockenen Tuch nach.

3. Lassen Sie alle Teile vollständig trock-

nen, bevor Sie sie wegräumen oder das

Gerät erneut benutzen.

Kalkfilter reinigen

1. Öffnen Sie den Deckel|9.

2. Ziehen Sie den Kalkfilter|1 nach oben

aus dem Wasserkocher|2 heraus.

3. Reinigen Sie den Kalkfilter|1 mit einem

feuchten Spültuch und unter fließendem

Wasser.

4. Setzen Sie den Kalkfilter|1 in die vorge-

sehenen Schienen im Wasserkocher|2

und drücken ihn nach unten.

Entkalken

Nach einiger Zeit wird sich durch den Koch-

vorgang Kalk in Teilen des Wasserkochers

absetzen (je nach Härtebereich des verwen-

deten Wassers). Diesen sollten Sie in regel-

mäßigen Abständen entfernen, da sonst der

Stromverbrauch des Gerätes zunimmt.

1. Ziehen Sie den Kalkfilter|1 nach oben

aus dem Wasserkocher|2 heraus. Befin-

den sich Kalkrückstände im Kalkfilter|1,

legen Sie diesen beim Entkalken in den

Wasserkocher.

2. Füllen Sie den Entkalker in den Wasser-

kocher|2. Verwenden Sie handelsübli-

chen Entkalker, z.|B. Kaffeemaschinen-

Entkalker. Beachten Sie die Hinweise

auf der Verpackung des Entkalkers. Die

weiteren Schritte entnehmen Sie der Be-

dienungsanleitung des Entkalkers. Spü-

len Sie nach dem Entkalken den

Wasserkocher ggf. mehrfach aus.

3. Nach dem Entkalken spülen Sie den

Kalkfilter|1 gut ab. Setzen Sie ihn in die

vorgesehenen Schienen im Wasserko-

cher|2 und drücken ihn nach unten.

Zeitabstände für das Entkalken

Die Abstände für das Entkalken hängen vom

Härtegrad des Wassers und davon ab, wie

oft Sie das Gerät verwenden. Bei mittlerem

oder hartem Härtegrad empfehlen wir ein

monatliches Entkalken.

Bei der Verwendung von Leitungswasser

können Sie die Wasserhärte in Ihrer Wohn-

gegend bei Ihrem zuständigen Wasserwerk

erfragen.

9. Aufbewahren

GEFAHR für Kinder!

~ Bewahren Sie das Gerät außerhalb der

Reichweite von Kindern auf.

• Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, bevor

Sie es wegräumen.

• Bild A: Wickeln Sie die Anschlusslei-

tung|6 im Boden des Gerätesockels|4

im Uhrzeigersinn auf.

10. Entsorgen

Dieses Produkt unterliegt der

europäischen Richtlinie

2012/19/EU. Das Symbol

der durchgestrichenen Ab-

falltonne auf Rädern bedeu-

tet, dass das Produkt in der

Europäischen Union einer

getrennten Müllsammlung

zugeführt werden muss. Dies

gilt für das Produkt und alle

mit diesem Symbol gekennzeichneten Zube-

hörteile. Gekennzeichnete Produkte dürfen

nicht über den normalen Hausmüll entsorgt

werden, sondern müssen an einer Annah-

mestelle für das Recycling von elektrischen

und elektronischen Geräten abgegeben

werden. Recycling hilft, den Verbrauch von

Rohstoffen zu reduzieren und die Umwelt zu

entlasten. Informationen zur Entsorgung und

der Lage des nächsten Recyclinghofes erhal-

ten Sie z.|B. bei Ihrer Stadtreinigung oder in

den Gelben Seiten.

Verpackung

Wenn Sie die Verpackung entsorgen möch-

ten, achten Sie auf die entsprechenden Um-

weltvorschriften in Ihrem Land.

11. Problemlösung

Sollte Ihr Gerät einmal nicht wie gewünscht

funktionieren, gehen Sie bitte erst diese

Checkliste durch. Vielleicht ist es nur ein klei-

nes Problem, das Sie selbst beheben können.

toys. Children should not be allowed to

play with the plastic bags: there is a risk

of suffocation.

DANGER to and from pets

and livestock

~ Electrical devices can represent a haz-

ard to pets and livestock. In addition,

animals can also cause damage to the

device. For this reason you should keep

animals away from electrical devices at

all times.

DANGER! Risk of electric

shock due to moisture

~ Protect the device from moisture, water

drops and water spray. Failure to ob-

serve this instruction may result in an

electrical shock hazard.

~ If liquid gets into the device base, imme-

diately pull out the mains plug. Have the

device checked before reusing.

DANGER! Risk of electric

shock

~ Do not use the device if the device or

the power cable has any visible dam-

age, or if the device base has previous-

ly been dropped.

~ Connect the mains plug only to a cor-

rectly installed, easily accessible

earthed wall socket with voltage corre-

sponding to the rating plate. The wall

socket must continue to be easily acces-

sible after the device is plugged in.

~ Ensure that the power cable cannot be

damaged by sharp edges or hot points.

Do not wrap the power cable around

the device.

~ The device is not fully disconnected from

the power supply, even after it is

switched off. In order to fully disconnect

it, pull out the mains plug.

~ When using the device, ensure that the

power cable cannot be trapped or

crushed.

~ When removing the mains plug from the

wall socket, always pull the plug and

never the cable.

~ Disconnect the mains plug from the wall

socket,…

~ To avoid any risk, do not make modifi-

cations to the device.

through scalding

~ Do not bend over the kettle when you

open the lid and the contents are still

hot. There is a danger of being scalded

by escaping steam.

~ The kettle becomes very hot during op-

eration. Only touch it at its handle and

only use the release button and the on/

off switch.

WARNING! Risk of material

damage

~ The device is fitted with non-slip silicon

feet. Because furniture can be coated

with a wide variety of varnishes and

plastics, and treated with various care

products, the possibility cannot be ex-

cluded that some of these substances

have ingredients that may attack and

soften the silicon feet. If necessary,

place a non-slip mat under the device.

~ Fill the device with a minimum of 0.7 li-

tres of water, as otherwise the device

may overheat.

~ Place the device on a stable, flat sur-

face.

~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive

cleaning agents.

DANGER! Risk of electric

shock!

~ Connect the mains plug only to a cor-

rectly installed, easily accessible

earthed wall socket with voltage corre-

sponding to the rating plate. The wall

socket must continue to be easily acces-

sible after the device is plugged in.

~ Pull the mains plug|6 out from the wall

socket after every use.

• Remove all packing material.

• Check to ensure that all parts are pres-

ent and undamaged.

• Place the device on a dry, level, non-slip

surface.

6. Before using for the

first time

1. Fill the kettle|

up to the marking

MAX 1.7L

on the water level display|

and heat the water (see “Using the kettle”

on page 16).

2. Pour the water out and rinse out the ket-

tle|2 with fresh water.

3. Repeat this process. Then it is safe to

use the device.

7. Using the kettle

DANGER! Risk of injury

through scalding!

~ It is always necessary to close the lid|9

when heating water, as boiling water

may otherwise spray out!

~ Do not open the lid|9 while the water is

boiling.

~ Fill the kettle|2 only to the maximum fill-

ing level (MAX 1.7L), as boiling water

may otherwise spray out.

~ Do not bend over the kettle|2 when you

open the lid|9 and the contents are still

hot. There is a danger of being scalded

by escaping steam.

~ The kettle|2 becomes very hot during

operation. Only touch it at its handle|7

and only use the release button|8 and

the on/off switch|5.

WARNING! Risk of material damage!

~ Fill the device with a minimum of 0.7 li-

tres of water, as otherwise the device

may overheat.

~ Never put alcohol, sugar or milk into

the kettle|2!

Water as foodstuff

Water is a very sensitive foodstuff and can go

bad due to germs forming. Please take note:

• Always use fresh drinking water in the

kettle|2.

• Pour water away, which has been

standing in the kettle|2 for longer than

approx. 1 hour.

• Do not reboil cooled down water.

Boiling water

1. Remove the kettle|2 from the device

base|4.

2. Press the release button|8 to open the

lid|9.

3. Fill the desired amount of fresh drinking

water into the kettle|2. Keep it upright

or place it on an even surface to be

able to read the water level display|3

correctly.

4. Close the lid , by pressing it down-|9

wards.

5. Place the kettle on the device base|4.

6. Insert the mains plug|6 into a readily

accessible earthed wall socket whose

voltage matches the voltage stated on

the rating plate.

7. Press the on/off switch|5 down, until it

lights up blue and locks into place.

8. The device automatically switches off as

soon as the water starts to boil.

9. Disconnect the mains plug|6 from the

wall socket.

10.Remove the kettle|2 from the device

base|4 and pour the water out.

8. Cleaning

DANGER! Risk of electric

shock!

~ Pull the mains plug|6 out of the wall

socket before you clean the kettle|2.

~ The kettle|2, the device base|4, the

power cable and the mains plug|6 must

not be immersed in water or other liq-

uids.

DANGER! Risk of injury

through scalding!

The kettle|

becomes very hot during op-

eration. Allow it to cool down before

cleaning.

WARNING! Risk of material damage!

~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive

cleaning agents.

After every use

Clean the device after every use, if possible.

1. Disconnect the mains plug|6 from the

wall socket.

2. Wipe the kettle|2, the device base|4

and the power cable|6 with a damp

cloth if necessary. Dry with a dry cloth.

3. Allow all parts to dry completely before

you put them away or use the device

again.

Cleaning the limescale filter

1. Open the lid|9.

2. Pull the limescale filter|1 off upwards

from the kettle|2.

3. Clean the limescale filter|1 with a moist

dishcloth under running water.

4. Slot the limescale filter|1 into the intend-

ed fitting in the kettle|2 and press it

downwards.

Descaling

After some time, the boiling process will re-

sult in limescale being deposited in parts of

the kettle (depending on the hardness of the

water used). You should remove this at regu-

lar intervals, because otherwise the power

consumption of the device will increase.

1. Pull the limescale filter|1 off upwards

from the kettle|2. If there is limescale

residue in the limescale filter|1, place it

in the kettle when descaling.

2. Fill the limescale remover into the ket-

tle|2. Use a commercially available li-

mescale remover, e.g. limescale

remover for coffee machines. Comply

with the instructions on the packaging

of the limescale remover. You can find

the next steps in the instructions of the li-

mescale remover. Rinse the kettle multi-

ple times after descaling, if necessary.

3. After descaling, rinse the limescale l-

ter|1 well. Slot it into the intended fitting

in the kettle|2 and press it downwards.

Time intervals for descaling

The intervals for descaling are dependent

on the hardness of the water, and how often

you use the device. Where the hardness of

the water is medium or high, we recommend

descaling monthly.

If using tap water, you can find out the hard-

ness of the water in the area where you live

by inquiring at your local waterworks.

chauffer de l'eau.

L'appareil est conçu pour un usage domes-

Si le câble de raccordement de cet appareil est endommagé, il faut

le faire remplacer par le fabricant, son service après-vente ou une

personne ayant une qualification similaire pour éviter les mises en

danger.

Pour le nettoyage, respectez les indications du chapitre (voir

« Nettoyage » à la page 28).

~ Le matériel d'emballage n'est pas un

jouet. Les enfants ne doivent pas jouer

avec les sachets en plastique. Ceux-ci

présentent un risque d'asphyxie.

~ Protégez l'appareil contre l'humidité, les

gouttes et les éclaboussures : il existe un

~ Si du liquide pénètre dans le socle de

l'appareil, débranchez immédiatement

la fiche secteur. Faites contrôler l'appa-

reil avant de le remettre en service.

DANGER ! Risque

d'électrocution

~ Ne mettez pas l’appareil en service si

l’appareil ou le câble de raccordement

présente des dommages visibles ou si le

socle de l'appareil a subi une chute.

~ Ne branchez la fiche secteur qu'à une

prise de courant facilement accessible

installée dans les règles, dotée de

contacts de protection et dont la tension

correspond aux indications de la

plaque signalétique. Après avoir bran-

ché l'appareil, la prise de courant doit

rester facilement accessible.

~ Évitez toute détérioration du câble de

raccordement par des arêtes vives ou

des surfaces brûlantes. N’enroulez pas

le câble de raccordement autour de

l’appareil.

~ L’appareil n’est pas complètement isolé

du secteur même après l’avoir éteint

avec l’interrupteur Marche/arrêt. Pour

ce faire, débranchez la fiche secteur.

~ Lors de l'utilisation de l'appareil, le

câble de raccordement ne doit pas être

coincé ou écrasé.

~ Pour débrancher l'appareil, tirez tou-

jours sur la fiche, jamais sur le câble.

~ Débranchez la fiche secteur de la prise

de courant …

… avant de nettoyer la bouilloire et

… en cas d'orage.

~ Afin d'éviter tout risque d'accident, n'ef-

fectuez aucune modification au niveau

Ne vous penchez pas sur la bouilloire

lorsque vous ouvrez le couvercle et que le

contenu est encore très chaud. La vapeur

d'eau qui s'échappe risque de vous brûler.

~ Pendant l’utilisation, la bouilloire atteint

une température très élevée. Ne la sai-

sissez que par sa poignée et ne touchez

que la touche de déverrouillage et l'in-

terrupteur Marche/Arrêt.

AVERTISSEMENT : risque de

dommages matériels

~ L'appareil est doté de pieds en silicone

antidérapants. Étant donné que les

meubles sont recouverts d'une variété

de laques et de matières synthétiques et

sont traités avec différents produits d'en-

tretien, il ne peut pas être totalement ex-

clu que certaines de ces substances

contiennent des composants qui at-

taquent et ramollissent les pieds en sili-

cone. Le cas échéant, placez un support

antidérapant sous l'appareil.

~ Pour éviter une surchauffe de l’appareil,

versez-y au moins 0,7 litre d’eau.

~ Il est strictement interdit de mettre de

l'alcool, du sucre ou du lait dans la

bouilloire !

~ Placez l'appareil sur une surface solide,

plane.

~ N’utilisez aucun détergent acide ou dé-

capant.

~ Ne branchez la fiche secteur qu'à une

prise de courant facilement accessible

installée dans les règles, dotée de

contacts de protection et dont la tension

correspond aux indications de la

plaque signalétique. Après avoir bran-

ché l'appareil, la prise de courant doit

rester facilement accessible.

~ Avant chaque utilisation, retirez la fiche

secteur|6 de la prise de courant.

• Ôtez tout le matériau d'emballage.

• Vérifiez si toutes les pièces sont pré-

sentes et en parfait état.

• Posez l'appareil sur une surface sèche,

plane et antidérapante.

6. Avant la première

utilisation

1. Remplissez la bouilloire|2 jusqu'au re-

père MAX 1.7L de l'indicateur de ni-

veau de remplissage|3 et faites chauer

l'eau (voir « Utilisation » à la page 27).

2. Videz l'eau et rincez la bouilloire|2 à

l'eau froide.

3. Répétez ces opérations. L'appareil est

alors prêt à fonctionner.

8. Nettoyage

DANGER ! Risque d'électrocu-

tion !

~ Débranchez la fiche secteur|6 de la

prise de courant avant de nettoyer la

bouilloire|2.

~ La bouilloire| |2, le socle 4, le câble de

raccordement et la fiche secteur|6 ne

doivent pas être plongés dans l'eau ni

dans tout autre liquide.

DANGER ! Risque de brûlures !

Pendant l’utilisation, la bouilloire|

atteint

une température très élevée. Laissez-la re-

froidir avant le nettoyage.

AVERTISSEMENT : risque de dom-

mages matériels !

~ N’utilisez aucun détergent acide ou dé-

capant.

Après chaque utilisation

Nettoyez si possible l'appareil après

chaque utilisation.

1. Débranchez la fiche secteur|6 de la

prise de courant.

2. Au besoin, nettoyez la bouilloire|2, le

socle|4 et le câble de raccordement|6

avec un chiffon légèrement humide. Es-

suyez ensuite avec un chiffon sec.

3. Laissez toutes les pièces entièrement sé-

cher avant de les ranger ou d'utiliser

l'appareil à nouveau.

Nettoyage du filtre anti-calcaire

1. Ouvrez le couvercle|9.

2. Sortez le filtre anti-calcaire|1 de la

bouilloire|2 en le tirant vers le haut.

3. Nettoyez le filtre anti-calcaire|1 avec

une lavette humide ou en le tenant sous

le robinet d'eau.

4. Insérez le filtre anti-calcaire|

dans les

petits rails prévus à cet effet dans la bouil-

loire|

et faites-le glisser vers le bas.

Détartrage

Après un certain temps, l'ébullition de l'eau

entraînera un dépôt de calcaire dans cer-

taines pièces de la bouilloire (selon la dureté

de l'eau utilisée). Il faut l'enlever régulière-

ment sinon la consommation électrique de

l'appareil augmente.

1. Sortez le filtre anti-calcaire|1 de la

bouilloire|2 en le tirant vers le haut. Si

le filtre anti-calcaire|1 contient des dé-

pôts, mettez-le dans la bouilloire pen-

dant le détartrage.

2. Versez le détartrant dans la bouil-

loire|2. Utilisez un détartrant classique

disponible dans le commerce, par ex.

un détartrant pour machines à café.

Observez les instructions indiquées sur

l'emballage du détartrant. Vous trouve-

rez une description des étapes suivantes

dans le mode d'emploi du détartrant.

Après le détartrage, rincez la bouilloire

plusieurs fois si nécessaire.

3. Après le détartrage, rincez soigneuse-

ment le filtre anti-calcaire|1. Insérez-le

dans les petits rails prévus à cet effet

dans la bouilloire|2 et faites-le glisser

vers le bas.

Intervalles de détartrage

Les intervalles entre deux détartrages dé-

pendent de la dureté de l'eau et de la fré-

quence d'utilisation de l'appareil. Pour une

eau de dureté moyenne ou dure, nous re-

commandons un détartrage mensuel.

Si vous utilisez de l'eau du robinet, enqué-

rez-vous de la dureté de l'eau dans votre ré-

gion auprès de votre centre de distribution

des eaux.
