Kurzanleitung:
1. SchaltenSieIhrenPCausundziehenSiedasNetzkabelab.
2. ÖffnenSiedasPC-Gehäuse.
3. EntfernenSiedieFrontblendedes5,25"-Einbauschachtes.
4. SchiebenSiedieDockingstationindenEinbauschacht.
5. VerschraubenSiedieDockingstationmitdenmitgeliefertenSchraubenvon
 beidenSeitenimEinbauschacht.
6. Verbinden Sie das SATA-Datenkabel der Dockingstation mit einem
SATA-Anschluss auf dem Mainboard (weitere Informationen nden Sie
 auchimHandbuchIhresMainboards).
7. VerbindenSiedasinterneY-StromkabelmitdenStromanschlüssenaufder
 RückseitederDockingstationundeinempassendenStromanschlussIhres
 Netzteils.
Hinweis:
Fabrikneue Festplatten, die Sie mit dem QuickPort Intern verwenden, müssen
zunächst partitioniert und formatiert werden.
Gehen Sie dazu wie folgt vor (z.B. Windows XP):
Start / Einstellungen / Systemsteuerung / Verwaltung / Computerverwaltung /
Datenträgerverwaltung. Entsprechende Festplatte mit der rechten Maustaste
anklicken und zwischen Partitionieren/Formatieren wählen.

Short manual:
1. SwitchoffyourPCanddisconnectthepowercord.
2. OpenthePCcase.
3. Removethe5.25"mountingbay’sfrontbezel.
4. Slidethedockingstationintothemountingbay.
5. Attachthedockingstationfrombothsidesinsidethemountingbayusing
 theincludedscrews.
6. Connectthedockingstation’sSATAdatacabletotherespectiveSATA
 connectoronthemainboard(forfurtherinformationalsorefertoyour
 mainboard’smanual).
7. PlugtheinternalYpowercabletothepowerconnectorsonthedocking
 station’sbacksideandtoamatchingpowerconnectorofyourPSU.
Note:
Brand new HDDs (IDE and SATA) used with the QuickPort Intern must be partiti-
oned and formatted. Proceed as described below (e.g. Windows XP):
Start / Settings / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Computer Management /
Disk Management. Click the respective HDD with the right mouse button and
choose partition/format.
