Correct Disposal of This Product

This marking shown on the product or its literature, indicates that it should
not be disposed with other household wastes at the end of its working life.
To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from
uncontrolled waste disposal, please separate this from other types of wastes
and recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material
resources.
Household users should contact either the retailer where they purchased
this product, or their local government office, for details of where and how
they can take this item for environmentally safe recycling.
Business users should contact their supplier and check the terms and
conditions of the purchase contract. This product should not be mixed with

WARNINGS
The exclamation point within the triangle is a warning sign alerting the user of
important instructions accompanying the product.
The lightening flash with arrowhead symbol within the triangle is a warning sign
alerting the user of “dangerous voltage” inside the unit.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover. No user serviceable
parts inside the unit. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
This unit operates on 230V ~ 50Hz.
This unit must not be exposed to moisture or rain.
Ensure all connections are properly made before operating the unit.
This unit should be positioned so that it is properly ventilated. Avoid placing it, for
example, close to curtains, on the carpet or in a built-in installation such as a
bookcase.
Do not expose this unit to direct sunlight or heat radiating sources.

Before Use
Carefully remove your electric slicer & greater from its packaging.
You may wish to store the packaging for future use. Otherwise dispose the packaging according
to the local rules on recycling.
Please read this instruction manual carefully and familiarize yourself with your new appliance
before using it for the first time. Please retain this manual for future reference.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Caution: For your own safety read the following instructions carefully before attempting to connect
this unit to the mains. Before switching on make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is
the same as that indicated on the rating plate.
This unit is designed to operate on AC 230V 50Hz current only. Connecting it to other power
sources may damage the unit. Do not allow this unit to be exposed to rain or moisture.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT!
•Make sure the voltage of your appliance corresponds to that of your mains power supply.
•Carefully wash all attachments before using them.
•DO NOT PLACE THE MOTOR BASE, THE PLUG OR POWER CORD IN WATER OR INTO
OTHER LIQUIDS.
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
•Do not use the appliance if the blades are damaged.
•Do not leave the appliance exposed to the weather (rain, sun, etc.).
•Always place the appliance on a flat, level surface during use.
•Remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and prior to cleaning and
fitting or removing all parts and attachments.
•NEVER TOUCH THE PARTS WHEN THEY ARE STILL ROTATING OR IN USE.
•Do not pull the power cord in order to disconnect the appliance.
•Never use the appliance if the power cord or plug are damaged or if the appliance is faulty; in
this case, take it to your nearest Authorised Assistance Centre.
•In the event that you decide to dispose of the appliance, we advise you to make it inoperative
by cutting off the power cord. We also recommend that any parts that could be dangerous be

•Do not use the appliance when empty.
•Do not use the appliance outside.
•To prevent personal accidents or injuries and to avoid damaging the appliance always keep
your hands and cooking utensils away from rotating blades and rollers.
•The blades of the rollers are extremely sharp and must be handled with precaution and
always by grasping their plastic part.
•To prevent accidents never insert the rollers onto the base before fitting the hopper in place.
•Make sure the hopper and the roller on its clutch have been correctly fitted as well as the con-
veyor and the shredding attachment before plugging in and starting up the appliance.
•Never insert food by pushing it in by hand but always utilise the provided food presser.
•Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
•Do not leave the appliance unattended when connected to the mains power; disconnect it
after each use.
•Never remove the roller when the appliance is in use.
•Do not overfill the hopper; never insert more than one piece at a time.
•To prevent the appliance from overheating RESPECT THE MAXIMUM CONTINUOUS
USE TIME OF 2 MINUTES; always halt the appliance and make sure it has cooled
before restarting if you must use it more than once at a time.
•Do not use the appliance to chop overly hard food (such as ice cubes for instance).
•This appliance must be used solely for chopping vegetables and/or fruit.
•This appliance conforms to the 2006/95/EC and EMC2004/108/EEC directives.

• Check that the correct voltage is marked on the data panel on the base of the appliance.
• Before using rinse the parts which will come into contact with food under running water.
