C100 Multiuser Remote Control
The C100 IR remote control is a universal remote control for the Multiuser system from Revox. It
can be used to control all Multiuser devices that have a built-in or external infrared receiver. The
M300 and M500 have built-in IR receivers, but can also be supplemented with an external IR
receiver M204 or the C18 Multiuser Wall Control. Our V219 or M30 side room amplifiers, as
installation products, do not have built- IR receivers, but can also be equipped with external IR in
receivers.
The C100 can be used to cover all the everyday basic functions provided by the Multiuser system.
For example, the selection of up to 4 users and their user favourites stored in the Multiuser App.
These basic functions are already stored in the Multiuser Configurator. Through extended
programming (by specialist personnel), many other additional functions can be handled by the C100.
In doing so, the configurator determines which functions the IR command sent is to perform. Via a
proxy, even IP commands can be sent to other units in the home network.
In addition to controlling the multi-user system from Revox, the C100 has an IR database for
countless TV manufacturers. This means that a TV set can also be controlled in basic terms. An
overview of the different manufacturers can be found at the end of these operating instructions.
The selection is made by entering a 4-digit numerical code.
Battery replacement
If the batteries of the remote control become weaker over time, which is noticeable in a shortened
range, they can easily be replaced. To do this, remove the battery cover on the back of the remote
control and use the tip of a biro to prise out the batteries at the points marked in red. Insert the
new batteries, making sure that the polarity is correct. The batteries should be replaced in pairs.

Disposal of the batteries
Original equipment batteries do not contain any harmful substances such as cadmium, lead and mercury. According to
the Battery Ordinance, used batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Dispose of used batteries free of
charge in the collection containers provided by retailers. You will also find a collection container for used batteries at
your specialist dealer.
