Intended use
The smart baby bottle automatically captures data
about every bottle feed. Via multiple sensors the
sleeve collects data about a bottle feed, which are
stored in the memory of the sleeve. After the feed,
the data will be synchronized with the app when
you open it on a smart device like a smartphone.
General
-The sleeve only works with the Philips Avent
Natural 4 oz/125 ml plastic bottle.
-The smart baby bottle works with the Philips
Avent Smart baby bottle app.
Warning
-Keep packaging materials
(plastic bags, cardboard
buers, etc.) out of reach of
children.
-Do not ingest battery.
Chemical burn hazard. If you
suspect that a battery may
have been swallowed or
placed inside the body seek
immediate medical attention.
-Always keep coin cell
batteries out of reach of
children.
-Swallowing coin cell batteries
can result in serious injury in
as little as 2 hours and can
lead to death.
-If the battery cover does not
close correctly do not attempt
to use this product and keep
away from children
-Do not throw disposable
batteries into re. Batteries
may explode.
-Do not use the device if it is
broken or damaged. Using a
broken or damaged device
may cause injury.
-Never use compressed air,
scouring pads, abrasive
cleaning agents or aggressive
liquids such as petrol or
acetone to clean the device.
-Do not immerse the device in
water or other liquids.
-Do not place the device in a
microwave, dishwasher or
sterilizer. The device contains
Lithium batteries that might
cause re when placed in a
microwave.
-Allow the device to reach
room temperature after
having been stored at extreme
temperatures (below 0 °C/32
°F or over 40 °C/104 °F), to
avoid inaccurate
measurements.
-Danger of explosion if battery
is incorrectly replaced.
Replace only with the same
type.
Caution
-Only use the device as
described in the quick start
guide. Do not use it for any
other purpose.
-Use the device at a
temperature between 0 °C
(32 °F) and 40 °C (104 °F).
-All required markings are
located on the device.
-Do not disassemble, repair or
change any part of the device
at any time.

-When the temperature of the
storage area diers from
room temperature by more
then
15 °C, wait at least 30 minutes
before using the device.
-If you do not intend to use
the device for a long period
of time, it is recommended to
remove the batteries from the
device. This prevents possible
damage due to leakage of the
batteries. If the batteries leak,
remove them carefully and
replace them.
-If you use the device in a wet
environment, the outside of
the device can become
slippery.
-Be careful not to drop the
device. It is fragile and might
break when dropped.
-Be careful when you take the
device with you when you
travel. The measurement
sensor is sensitive and may
break when you drop the
device or exert to much force
on its bottom.
Batteries
-Only operate the device on two CR2032 batteries.
-Insert two batteries in the battery compartment
according to the + and - marks inside the
compartment.
-Replace the batteries when the sleeve shows
the battery-low indication or if it does not
work at all.

-This product complies with the radio interference
requirements of the European union (Fig. 1).
-Philips consumer lifestyle hereby declares that
this device is in compliance with the essential
requirements and other relevant provisions of
directive 2014/53/EU (Bluetooth: Bluetooth
Low Energy, Eective radiated power:
Max 2.5 mW). A copy of the EC declaration
of conformity (DoC) is available online at

Electromagnetic elds (EMF)
This Philips appliance complies with all applicable
standards and regulations regarding exposure to
electromagnetic elds.
Recycling
-This symbol means that this product shall not
be disposed of with normal household waste
(2012/19/EU) (Fig. 2).
-This symbol means that this product contains
disposable batteries which shall not be
disposed of with normal household waste
(2006/66/EC) (Fig. 3).
-Follow your country‘s rules for the separate
collection of electrical and electronic products
and batteries. Correct disposal helps prevent
negative consequences for the environment
and human health.
Removing disposable batteries
To remove disposable batteries, see the
instructions for placing and/or removing batteries
in the user manual.
Always remove empty disposable batteries
from the product. Take any necessary safety
precautions when you dispose of batteries.

Beoogd gebruik
De slimme babyes legt automatisch gegevens
vast over elke esvoeding. De houder verzamelt
via meerdere sensoren gegevens over een
esvoeding, die vervolgens worden opgeslagen in
het geheugen van de houder. Na de voeding
worden de gegevens gesynchroniseerd met de
app wanneer u deze opent op een smart device,
zoals een smartphone.
Algemeen
-De houder werkt alleen met de plastic Philips
Avent Natural-es van 125 ml.
-De slimme babyes werkt in combinatie met de
Philips Avent-app voor slimme babyessen.
Waarschuwing
-Houd verpakkingsmaterialen
(plastic zakken, kartonnen
buers enzovoort) buiten het
bereik van kinderen.
-Batterij niet inslikken. Risico
op chemische brandwonden.
Als u vermoedt dat een
batterij is ingeslikt om in het
lichaam terecht is gekomen,
dient u onmiddellijk medische
hulp in te roepen.
-Houd knoopbatterijen altijd
buiten het bereik van
kinderen.
-Het inslikken van
knoopbatterijen kan al binnen
2 uur ernstig letsel
veroorzaken en kan tot de
dood leiden.
-Als het deksel van het
batterijvak niet goed sluit,
moet u dit product niet
gebruiken en het uit de buurt
van kinderen houden
-Gooi wegwerpbatterijen niet
in het vuur. De batterijen
kunnen dan ontploen.
-Gebruik het apparaat niet als
het kapot of beschadigd is.
Het gebruik van een kapot of
beschadigd apparaat kan
verwondingen veroorzaken.
-Gebruik nooit perslucht,
schuursponzen,
schuurmiddelen of
agressieve vloeistoen zoals
benzine of aceton om het
apparaat te reinigen.
-Dompel het apparaat niet in
water of andere vloeistoen.
-Plaats het apparaat niet in
een magnetron,
vaatwasmachine of
sterilisator. Het apparaat
bevat lithium-batterijen die
brand kunnen veroorzaken
wanneer ze in een magnetron
worden geplaatst.
-Laat het apparaat op
kamertemperatuur komen
nadat het is opgeslagen
onder extreme temperaturen
(onder 0 °C of boven 40 °C),
om onnauwkeurige
meetresultaten te voorkomen.
-Gevaar van explosie als
batterij onjuist is vervangen.
Vervanging dient alleen met
hetzelfde type plaats te
vinden.
