Thank you for selecting the Oregon Scientic™ DreamScience

Brainwave-oriented Sleep Companion (WS683). This device

aids to promote a better sleeping environment using the

latest technology.

NOTE Please keep this manual handy as you use your

new product. It contains practical step-by-step instructions,

as well as technical specications and warnings you should

know about.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Read this user manual carefully before use.

• Do not clean the unit with abrasive or corrosive materials.

• Do not tamper with the unit’s internal components. This

invalidates the warranty.

• Only use fresh batteries. Do not mix new and old batteries.

• Images shown in this manual may differ from the actual

display.

• When disposing of this product, ensure it is collected

separately for special treatment and not as household waste.

• The contents of this manual may not be reproduced without

• Do not dispose old batteries as unsorted municipal waste.

• + CONFIRM - scroll wheel

• Scroll up/down to adjust sound volume, adjust settings, or

snooze the alarm when the alarm is on

• Press to conrm settings, or snooze the alarm when the

alarm is on

1. Sleep timer

• Press to turn on/off the sleep timer

• Press and hold for 2 seconds when the backlight is on,

or while playing a sleeping sound to enter sleep timer

setting mode

2. Alarm

• Press to turn on/off the alarm

• Press and hold for 2 second to enter alarm setting mode

3. Sleep Enhance

• Press when the sleeping sound is on to turn on/off Sleep

Enhance feature

4. Sound

• Press to turn on/off the sound

• Press and hold for 2 second to enter sound setting mode

5. Lighting

• Press to turn on/off the mood light

• Press and hold for 2 second to enter lighting setting mode

1. Alarm is set to on / the device is in alarm setting mode

2. Sleep timer is on / the device is in sleep timer setting mode

3. the device is in volume setting mode / Flashes when

the Sleep Enhancement feature is on

4. Sound is on / the device is in sound setting mode

INSTALLATION

The sleeping box can be powered by batteries or AC adaptor.

USING BATTERIES

1. Slide to open the battery cover.

2. Insert 4 AA batteries into the battery compartment,

matching the polarity.

3. Close the battery cover.

NOTE For continuous use, please install the AC adaptor.

USING AC POWER

NOTE Make sure the adaptor is not obstructed and is easily

accessible to the unit.
