4) Das Kabel vom Verstärker an eine Klemme
„+“ und eine Klemme „−“ anschließen.
Dabei darauf achten, dass der Lautsprecher
genauso gepolt wird wie die übrigen Laut-
sprecher seines Beschallungsbereichs.
Ist eine Leitung zu einem weiteren Lautspre-
cher vorhanden (siehe oben), diese mit den
beiden zusätzlichen Klemmen verbinden.
5) Mithilfe eines Schraubendrehers den Dreh-
schalter auf die gewünschte Betriebsart ein-
stellen:
38 …150 W: Nennleistung (100-V-Anlagen)
OFF: aus
8 Ω: bei Anschluss an einen nieder-
ohmigen Verstärkerausgang
Wichtig: In der Position 8 Ω den Lautspre-
cher auf keinen Fall in einer 100-V-Anlage
betreiben. Der Lautsprecher und auch der
Verstärker können beschädigt werden.
Achten Sie auf die Belastung des Verstärkers
durch alle angeschlossenen Lautsprecher.
Eine Überlastung kann den Verstärker be-
schädigen!
6) Die Abdeckplatte mit den beiliegenden
Schrauben fest verschließen und die Schraub-
kappen der Kabeldurchführungen festdre-
hen, sodass keine Feuchtigkeit eindringen
kann.
7) Den Lautsprecher ausrichten und die beiden
Halteschrauben festdrehen. Zur zusätzlichen
Fixierung auf jeder Seite eine der beiliegen-
den Inbusschrauben durch den Montage-
bügel in eines der beiden Gewindelöcher am
Lautsprechergehäuse einschrauben.

Für eine zusätzliche, unabhängige Sicherung
das mitgelieferte Sicherungsseil mit der drit-
ten Inbusschraube an dem Gewindeloch
unterhalb der Abdeckplatte befestigen.

ELA-Lautsprecher
Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure
mit Fachkenntnissen in der Beschallungs-
technik. Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung vor
der Installation gründlich durch und heben
Sie sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Der Lautsprecher ist speziell für den Einsatz in
ELA-Beschallungsanlagen konzipiert und kann
als Wand- oder Deckenlautsprecher verwen-
det werden. Er ist mit einer Zertifizierung nach
EN 54-24 für den Einsatz in Sprachalarmierungs-
anlagen zugelassen.
Der Lautsprecher ist mit einem Übertrager für
den Betrieb in 100-V-Anlagen ausgestattet, kann
aber auch im 8-Ω-Betrieb an einen niederohmi-
gen Verstärkerausgang angeschlossen werden.
Über einen Drehschalter lässt sich zwischen drei
Leistungsanzapfungen des 100-V-Übertragers
und dem 8-Ω-Betrieb wählen.
Durch das verwendete 2-Wege-Koaxialsys-
tem wird eine sehr gute Klangqualität für Spra-
che und Musik erreicht. Dank seines robusten,
wetterfesten ABS-Gehäuses ist der Lautsprecher
auch für Außeninstallationen geeignet. Das Ge-
häuse ist ballwurfsicher.
2 Wichtige Gebrauchshinweise
Das Produkt entspricht allen relevanten Richt-
linien der EU und ist deshalb mit gekenn-
zeichnet.
•
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein tro-
ckenes oder angefeuchtetes, weiches Tuch,
auf keinen Fall scharfe Reinigungsmittel oder
Chemikalien.
•
Wird das Produkt falsch verwendet, nicht sicher
installiert oder nicht fachgerecht repa riert,
kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende
Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Ga-
rantie für das Produkt übernommen werden.
Soll das Produkt endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, entsor-
gen Sie es gemäß den örtlichen Vor-
schriften.
3 Installation
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsge-
fährliche Spannung bis 100 V
an der Lautsprecherleitung an.
Die Installation darf nur durch
Fachpersonal erfolgen.
1) Vor der Installation des Lautsprechers den
ELA- Verstärker ausschalten, damit die Laut-
sprecherleitung spannungsfrei ist!
2) -Den Montagebügel mit geeignetem Mon
tagematerial so an der gewünschten Stelle
befestigen, dass der Lautsprecher mit seinen
beiden seitlichen Halteschrauben darin ein-
gehängt werden kann.
3) Das Anschlusskabel vom Verstärker durch
die Kabeldurchführung in der beiliegenden
Abdeckplatte ziehen.
Soll eine Leitung zum nächsten Lautspre-
cher weitergeführt werden, an der Abdeck-
platte die vorgestanzte Durchbruchstelle für
die beiliegende zweite Kabeldurchführung
durchbohren, diese Kabeldurchführung dort
montieren und die Leitung hindurchführen.

4) Connect the cable from the amplifier to a
terminal “+” and a terminal “−”. Make sure
that the polarity of the speaker is the same as
that of the other speakers in its speaker zone.
If there is a cable to another speaker (see
above), connect this cable to the two addi-
tional terminals.
5) Use a screwdriver to set the rotary switch to
the operating mode:

OFF
8 Ω: when connected to a low -
impedance amplifier output
Important: In position 8 Ω, never operate the
speaker in a 100 V system. Risk of damage to
the speaker and to the amplifier!
Always observe the load on the amplifier
by all speakers connected. Overload may
damage the amplifier!
6) Tighten the screws provided to secure the
cover plate and fasten the screw caps of
the cable entries to prevent moisture from
entering.
7)
Align the speaker and fasten the two locking
screws. To additionally secure the speaker:
On both sides of the speaker, screw one of
the hexagon socket screws provided through
the mounting bracket into one of the two
threaded holes on the speaker housing.
8) A safety rope is provided for additional and
independent safety: Attach the safety rope
to the threaded hole underneath the cover
plate using the third hexagon socket screw.

PA Speaker
These instructions are intended for installers
with specific knowledge of PA technology.
Please read the instructions carefully prior
to installation and keep them for later ref-
erence.
1 Applications
The speaker is specially designed for PA systems
and can be used as a wall or ceiling speaker. It
is approved for use in voice alarm systems and
certified in accordance with EN 54-24.
The speaker is equipped with a transformer
for operation in 100 V systems, but in 8 Ω mode,
it can also be connected to a low-impedance
amplifier output. A rotary switch allows selec-
tion between three power taps of the 100 V
transformer and 8 Ω mode.
The 2-way coaxial system used ensures excel
-
lent sound quality for both speech and music.
The speaker with its robust, weatherproof ABS
housing is also suitable for outdoor installation.
The housing is ball impact resistant.
2 Important Instructions for Use

For cleaning only use a soft cloth, dry or
slightly wet; never use aggressive detergents
or chemicals.

No guarantee claims for the product and no
liability for any resulting personal damage
or material damage will be accepted if the
product is not correctly used, if it is not safely
installed or not repaired in an expert way.
If the product is to be put out of opera-
tion definitively, dispose of the product
in accordance with local regulations.
3 Installation
WARNING During operation, there is a
hazard of contact with danger-
ous voltage of up to 100 V at
the speaker cable. Installation
must always be carried out by
skilled personnel.
1) Before installing the speaker, switch off the
PA amplifier so that the speaker cable will not
carry any voltage!
2)
Use suitable mounting material to attach the
mounting bracket to the desired location.
Then hook the speaker into the bracket by
means of the two screws on its sides.
3) Pull the connection cable from the amplifier
through the cable entry in the cover plate
provided.
To route a cable to the next speaker, drill open
the pre-punched hole in the cover plate for
the second cable entry provided, fasten this
cable entry at the hole and guide the cable
through it.

de câble fourni, montez ce passage de câble
et faites passer le câble.
4) Reliez le câble de l’amplificateur à une borne
« + » et une borne « − ». Veillez à ce que la
polarité de l’enceinte soit la même que celle
des autres enceintes dans sa zone de sono-
risation.
Si une autre ligne vers une autre enceinte est
prévue (voir ci-dessus), reliez-la avec les deux
bornes supplémentaires.
5) Avec un tournevis, réglez le sélecteur sur le
mode de fonctionnement souhaité :
38 …150 W : puissance nominale
(installations 100 V)
OFF : arrêt
8 Ω : pour brancher à une sortie am-
plificateur basse impédance
Important : Sur la position 8 Ω, ne faites
jamais fonctionner l’enceinte dans une instal-
lation ligne 100 V. L’enceinte et l’amplificateur
peuvent être endommagés.
Veillez à la charge de l’amplificateur par
toutes les enceintes reliées. Une surcharge
peut endommager l’amplificateur !
6) Fixez le cache fermement avec les vis livrées
et serrez les capuchons des passages de câble
pour éviter que l’humidité ne puisse pénétrer.
7) Orientez l’enceinte et serrez les deux vis de
fixation. Pour une fixation supplémentaire,
vissez de chaque côté une des vis à 6 pans
creux livrées, à travers l’étrier de montage,
dans un des deux trous filetés sur la caisse
de l’enceinte.
8) -Pour une sécurisation supplémentaire indé
pendante, fixez l’élingue livrée avec la troi-
sième vis à 6 pans creux dans le trou fileté
au-dessous du cache.

Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs avec
des connaissances technique en sonorisa-
tion. Veuillez lire la présente notice avant le
fonctionnement et conservez-la pour pou-
voir vous y reporter ultérieurement.
1 Possibilités d’utilisation
Cette enceinte est spécialement conçue pour
une utilisation dans des installations de sonori-
sation Public Adress et peut être utilisée comme
enceinte murale ou de plafond. De par sa cer-
tification EN54-24, elle peut être utilisée dans
des installations d’alerte par message vocaux.
L’enceinte est dotée d’un transformateur
pour un fonctionnement dans des installations
100 V, elle peut également être reliée à une
sortie amplificateur basse impédance pour un
fonctionnement 8 Ω. Un sélecteur rotatif permet
de sélectionner entre trois réglages de puissance
du transformateur 100 V et le mode 8 Ω.
Le système coaxial 2 voies utilisé garantit
une excellente qualité sonore pour les paroles
et la musique. Grâce à sa caisse ABS robuste,
résistante aux intempéries, cette enceinte est
adaptée pour des utilisations en extérieur. La
caisse est résistante aux jets de ballons.
2 Conseils importants d’utilisation
Le produit répond à toutes les directives né-
cessaires de l’U.E. et porte donc le symbole .
•
Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un
tissu doux, sec ou légèrement humidifié, en
aucun cas de produits détergents ou de pro-
duits chimiques.
•
Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de
dommages matériels ou corporels résultants
si le produit est mal utilisé, n’est pas installé
de manière sûre ou n’est pas réparé par une
personne qualifiée. En outre, la garantie de-
viendrait caduque.
Si le produit est définitivement retiré
du service, recyclez-le selon les pres-
criptions de votre pays.

3 Installation
AVERTISSEMENT
Pendant le fonctionnement,
une tension dangereuse
jusqu’à 100 V est présente
sur le câble haut-parleur.
Seul un personnel qualifié
peut effectuer l’installation.
1) Avant l’installation de l’enceinte, éteignez
l’amplificateur PA pour que les câbles haut-
parleurs ne soient pas porteurs de tension.
2) Fixez l’étrier de montage avec le matériel
adéquat à l’endroit voulu de telle sorte que
l’enceinte puisse y être accrochée avec ses
deux vis de fixation latérales.
3) -Tirez le câble de branchement de l’amplifi
cateur à travers le passage de câble dans le
cache livré.
Si un câble doit être dirigé vers l’enceinte
suivante, percez sur le cache le point de pas-
sage prédécoupé pour le deuxième passage
