Horn Speaker

These instructions are intended for installers

with sufﬁcient knowledge in 100 V technolo-

gy for PA applications. Please read the instruc-

tions carefully prior to installation and keep

them for later reference.

1 Applications

These horn speakers of high efﬁciency are designed

for PA applications. Model IT-33 is specially suited

for PA systems using 100 V technology; model

NR-254KS is suited for connection to ampliﬁers

with 4 Ω output impedance. The ABS housings are

weatherproof; therefore, the speakers can also be

used for outdoor applications.

2 Important Notes

The speaker corresponds to all relevant directives

of the EU and is therefore marked with .

•

Protect the speaker against very high or low

temperatures (admissible ambient temperature

range: –20 °C to +50 °C).

•

For cleaning, only use a soft cloth, dry or slightly

wet; never use aggressive detergents or chem-

icals.

•

No guarantee claims for the speaker and no

liability for any resulting personal damage or

material damage will be accepted if the speaker

is used for other purposes than originally intend-

ed, if it is not installed in an expert way, not cor-

rectly connected, or overloaded.

If the speaker is to be put out of oper-

ation deﬁnitively, take it to a local recy-

cling plant for a disposal which is not

harmful to the environment.

3 Installation

Use the mounting bracket to fasten the speaker at

a suitable place. For alignment, release the locking

nuts of the bracket, move the speaker accordingly,

and retighten the nuts.

4 Electrical Connection

WARNING For connection of IT-33, observe the

following warning notes:

During operation, there is a hazard

of contact with a voltage of up to

100 V at the speaker cable.

Installation must be made by skilled personnel

only. Always insulate the cores of the speaker

connection cable that are not used.

Observe the load of the PA ampliﬁer by the

speakers. The ampliﬁer may be damaged when

overloaded! The total power of all speakers con-

nected must not exceed the ampliﬁer power.

1) First switch off the ampliﬁer to which the speak-

er is to be connected!

2) -Connect model NR-254KS to the speaker out

put of the ampliﬁer (brown core = positive pole,

blue core = negative pole).

Model IT-33: Connect the speaker cable to the

100 V audio line of the PA ampliﬁer: Connect

the white core and one of the other coloured

cores which corresponds to the desired power

rating (volume) to the 100 V audio cable.

3) When connecting multiple speakers, make sure

that all speakers have the same polarity.

Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure

mit Fachkenntnissen in der 100-V-Beschal-

lungstechnik. Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung vor

der Installation gründlich durch und heben Sie

sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.

1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten

Diese Druckkammer-Lautsprecher mit hohem Wir-

kungsgrad sind für den Einsatz in Beschallungsan-

lagen konzipiert. Das Modell IT-33 ist speziell für

ELA-Anlagen ausgelegt, die mit 100-V-Technik

arbeiten und das Modell NR-254KS ist zum An-

schluss an Verstärker mit 4-Ω-Ausgangsimpedanz

geeignet. Durch die wetterfesten ABS-Gehäuse

sind die Lautsprecher auch im Außenbereich ein-

setzbar.

2 Wichtige Hinweise

Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen relevanten Richt-

linien der EU und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen.

•

Schützen Sie den Lautsprecher vor großer Hitze

und Kälte (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich

–20 °C bis +50 °C).

•

Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes

oder angefeuchtetes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen

Fall scharfe Reinigungsmittel oder Chemikalien.

•

Wird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht

fachgerecht montiert, falsch angeschlossen oder

überlastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus resul-

tierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine

Garantie für den Lautsprecher übernommen

werden.

Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem

Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben

Sie ihn zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung

einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

3 Montage

Den Lautsprecher mit dem Montagebügel an ge-

eigneter Stelle festschrauben. Zum Ausrichten die

Feststellmuttern des Bügels lösen, den Lautspre-

cher entsprechend schwenken und die Muttern

wieder fest anziehen.

4 Elektrischer Anschluss

WARNUNG Für den Anschluss von IT-33 sind fol-

gende Warnhinweise zu beachten:

Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefährli-

che Spannung bis 100 V an der An-

schlussleitung an.

Die Installation darf nur durch Fachpersonal erfol-

gen. Isolieren Sie unbedingt die nicht benutzten

Adern der Lautsprecher-Anschlussleitung.

Achten Sie auf die Belastung des ELA-Verstärkers

durch die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlastung kann

den Verstärker beschädigen! Die Summe der

Leistungen aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher

darf die Verstärkerleistung nicht überschreiten.

1) Zuerst den Verstärker, an den der Lautsprecher

angeschlossen werden soll, ausschalten!

2) -Das Modell NR-254KS an den Lautsprecheraus

gang des Verstärkers anschließen (braune Ader

= Pluspol, blaue Ader = Minuspol).

Bei dem Modell IT-33 die Lautsprecherleitung

an die 100-V-Audioleitung vom ELA-Verstär-

ker anschließen: Die weiße Ader und eine der

anderen farbigen Adern, die der gewünschten

Nennbelastung (Lautstärke) entspricht, mit der

100-V-Audioleitung verbinden.

3) Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern

darauf achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich

gepolt werden.

Altoparlante a compressione

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori che pos-

siedono delle conoscenze speciﬁche sufﬁcienti della

tecnica di sonorizzazione a 100 V. Vi preghiamo di

leggerle attentamente prima dell‘installazione e di

conservarle per un uso futuro.

1 Possibilità d’impiego

Questi altoparlanti a compressione ad alta efﬁcienza

sono stati realizzati per l’impiego in impianti di so-

norizzazione. Il modello IT-33 è previsto specialmen-

te per impianti PA che lavorano con uscita audio a

100 V, mentre il modello NR-254KS è previsto per il

collegamento con ampliﬁcatori a una impedenza di

4 Ω. Grazie alle custodie in ABS, resistenti alle intem-

perie, questi altoparlanti possono essere impiegato

anche all’esterno.

2 Avvertenze importanti

L’altoparlante è conforme a tutte le direttive rile-

vanti dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .

•

Proteggere l’altoparlante dal forte calore e dal

freddo (temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra

–20 °C e 50 °C).

•

Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido,

asciutto o leggeremente inumidito; non impie-

gare in nessun caso prodotti chimici o detergenti

aggressivi.

•

Nel caso d’uso improprio, di montaggio non a re-

gola d’arte, di collegamenti sbagliati o di sovrac-

carico dell’altoparlante, non si assume nessuna

responsabilità per eventuali danni consequenziali

a persone o a cose e non si assume nessuna ga-

ranzia per l‘altoparlante.

Se si desidera eliminare l’altoparlan-

te deﬁnitivamente, consegnarlo per lo

smaltimento ad un’istituzione locale per

il riciclaggio.

3 Montaggio

Avvitare l’altoparlante in un posto adatto servendosi

della sua staffa di montaggio. Per orientarlo, allenta-

re i dadi di ﬁssaggio sulla staffa, girare l’altoparlante

secondo desiderio e stringere nuovamente i dadi.

4 Collegamento elettrico

AVVERTI-

MENTO

Per il collegamento dell’ IT-33 si de-

vono rispettare le seguenti note di

pericolo:

Durante il funzionamento, al cavo di

collegamento è presente una tensio-

ne pericolosa al contatto che arriva

ﬁno a 100 V.

L’installazione deve essere fatta sola da parte di

personale qualiﬁcato. Isolare assolutamente i con-

duttori non utilizzati del cavo di collegamento.

Fare attenzione al carico dell’ampliﬁcatore PA da

parte degli altoparlanti. Il sovraccarico può dan-

neggiare l’ampliﬁcatore! La somma della potenze

di tutti gli altoparlanti collegati non deve superare

la potenza dell’ampliﬁcatore.

1) Per prima cosa, spegnere l’ampliﬁcatore al quale

si deve collegare l’altoparlante!

2) Collegare il modello NR-254KS con l’uscita per

altoparlanti dell’ampliﬁcatore (conduttore mar-

rone = polo positivo, conduttore blu = polo

negativo).

Per il modello IT-33, collegare il cavo dell’alto-

parlante con la linea 100 V dell’ampliﬁcatore PA:

collegare il conduttore bianco e uno degli altri

conduttori, secondo la potenza nominale desi-

derata (volume), con la linea 100 V.

3) Collegando più altoparlanti fare attenzione alla

medesima polarità di tutti gli altoparlanti.

Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs possédant des

connaissances sufﬁsantes en technique de sonorisa-

tion ligne 100 V. Veuillez lire la présente notice avec

attention avant l‘installation et conservez-la pour

pouvoir vous y reporter ultérieurement.

1 Possibilités d’utilisation

Ces haut-parleurs à chambre de compression à haut

rendement sont conçus pour des installations de so-

norisation. Le modèle IT-33 est particulièrement bien

adapté à des installations de Public Address fonction-

nant en ligne 100 V; le modèle NR-254KS est adapté

au branchement à un ampliﬁcateur avec une impé-

dance de 4 Ω. Les boîtiers en ABS, résistants aux in-

tempéries, permettent une installation en extérieur.

2 Conseils importants

Le haut-parleur répond à toutes les directives né-

cessaires de l’Union Européenne et porte donc le

symbole .

•

Protégez le haut-parleur d’une grande chaleur

ou d’un grand froid (plage de température de

fonctionnement autorisée : –20 °C à +50 °C).

•

Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon

sec ou légèrement humide, doux, en aucun cas

de détergents abrasifs ou de produits chimiques.

•

Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de

dommages matériels ou corporels résultants si le

haut-parleur est utilisé dans un but autre que celui

pour lequel il a été conçu, s’il n’est pas correcte-

ment monté ou branché ou s’il y a surcharge; en

outre, la garantie deviendrait caduque.

Lorsque le haut-parleur est déﬁnitivement

retiré du service, vous devez le déposer

dans une usine de recyclage adaptée pour

contribuer à son élimination non polluante.

3 Montage

Vissez le haut-parleur avec l’étrier de montage à un

endroit adapté. Pour l’orienter, desserrez les écrous

de l’étrier, inclinez le haut-parleur en fonction puis

revissez les écrous.

4 Branchement électrique

AVERTISSE-

MENT

Lors du branchement du IT-33, res-

pectez les avertissements suivants :

Pendant le fonctionnement, une ten-

sion dangereuse jusqu’à 100 V est

présente au câble de branchement.

Seul un personnel qualiﬁé peut effectuer l’ins-

tallation. Isolez impérativement les conducteurs

inutilisés du câble de branchement haut-parleurs.

Faites attention à la charge de l’ampliﬁcateur PA

par les haut-parleurs. Une surcharge peut en-

dommager l’ampliﬁcateur! La somme des puis-

sances de tous les haut-parleurs reliés ne doit pas

dépasser la puissance de l’ampliﬁcateur.

1) Eteignez tout d’abord l’ampliﬁcateur à qui le

haut-parleur doit être relié.

2) Reliez le modèle NR-254KS à la sortie haut-

parleur de l’ampliﬁcateur (conducteur marron =

pôle plus, conducteur bleu = pôle moins).

Sur le modèle IT-33, reliez le câble haut-parleur au

câble audio 100 V de l’ampliﬁcateur Public Adress:

reliez le conducteur blanc et un des conducteurs

de couleur correspondant à la puissance nomi-

nale souhaitée (volume), au câble audio 100 V.

3) Si plusieurs haut-parleurs sont branchés, veillez

à ce que les haut-parleurs aient tous la même

polarité.

Głośnik tubowy

Niniejsza instrukcja przeznaczona jest instalato-

rów posiadających wiedzę w zakresie systemów

PA pracujących w technice 100 V. Przed rozpo-

częciem użytkowania proszę zapoznać się z

instrukcją, a następnie zachować ją do wglądu.

1 Zastosowanie

Oba te głośniki tubowe charakteryzują się wyso-

ką efektywnością i przeznaczone są do pracy w

systemach PA. Model IT-33 jest przystosowany do

systemów PA w technice 100 V, natomiast model

NR-254KS – do pracy ze wzmacniaczem 4 Ω. Dzięki

obudowie z ABS, odpornej na warunki atmosfe-

ryczne, głośniki mogą pracować na zewnątrz po-

mieszczeń.

2 Środki bezpieczeństwa

Głośniki spełniają wszystkie wymagania norm UE

dzięki temu zostały oznaczone symbolem .

•

Urządzenie należy chronić przed działaniem bar-

dzo wysokich oraz bardzo niskich temperatur

(dopuszczalna temperatura otoczenia –20 °C do

+50 °C).

•

Do czyszczenia należy używać suchej lub zwilżo-

nej miękkiej ściereczki, nie używać silnych deter-

gentów i środków chemicznych.

•

Dostawca oraz producent nie ponoszą odpowie-

dzialności za ewentualnie wynikłe szkody material-

ne lub uszczerbki na zdrowiu, jeśli urządzenie było

używane niezgodnie z przeznaczeniem, zostało

niepoprawnie zainstalowane lub było poddawane

naprawom przez nieautoryzowany personel.

Jeśli urządzenie nie będzie już więcej uży-

wane, wskazane jest przekazanie go do

miejsca utylizacji odpadów, aby zostało

zniszczone bez szkody dla środowiska.

3 Montaż

Przymocować głośnik poprzez jego uchwyt monta-

żowy w odpowiednim miejscu. W celu dokładnego

ustawienia, poluzować śruby na uchwycie, usta-

wić głośnik w żądanej pozycji, a następnie dokręcić

śruby ponownie.

4 Podłączanie

UWAGA Przypadku podłączanie głośnika IT-33

należy przestrzegać następujących

zasad:

W czasie pracy, na zaciskach wystę-

puje wysokie napięcie do 100 V.

Instalacja powinna być wykonywana wyłącznie

przez przeszkolony personel! Nie podłączone

końcówki kabla należy zaizolować.

Należy zwrócić uwagę na obciążenie wzmac-

niacza przez głośniki. Przeciążenie wzmacniacza

spowoduje jego uszkodzenie! Sumaryczna moc

głośników nie może przekraczać mocy wzmac-

niacza.

1) Przed przystąpieniem do podłączania głośników

należy odłączyć zasilanie wzmacniacza!

2) -Głośnik NR-254KS podłączać do wyjścia wzmac

niacza (brązowa żyła = dodatni biegun, niebie-

ska żyła = ujemny biegun).

W przypadku modelu IT-33, podłączyć kabel

głośnikowy do 100 V wzmacniacza PA: do

podłączania wykorzystać białą żyłą oraz jedną

z kolorowych, w zależności od żądanej mocy

(głośności) głośnika.

3) Przy podłączaniu kilku głośników, upewnić się

że wszystkie zostały podłączone z jednakową

polaryzacją oraz że wzmacniacz PA nie jest

przeciążony.

Estas instrucciones van dirigidas a instaladores

con un conocimiento suﬁciente sobre la tecno-

logía de 100 V en aplicaciones para megafonía.

Lea atentamente estas instrucciones antes de

la instalación y guárdelas para usos posteriores.

1 Aplicaciones

Estos altavoces de pabellón de gran eﬁciencia están

diseñados para sistemas de megafonía. El modelo

IT-33 es ideal para sistemas de megafonía que

funcionan con tecnología de 100 V; el modelo NR-

254KS está diseñado para conectarse a ampliﬁcado-

res con una impedancia de salida de 4 Ω. Gracias a

sus recintos resistentes a la intemperie, los altavoces

también están indicados para usos en exterior.

2 Notas Importantes

El altavoz cumple con todas las directivas relevan-

tes de la UE y por lo tanto está marcado con el

símbolo .

•

Proteja el altavoz de las temperaturas extrema-

damente altas o bajas (temperatura de ambiente

admisible –20 °C a 50 °C).

•

Utilice sólo un paño suave, seco o ligeramente

humedecido para la limpieza; no utilice nunca

ni productos químicos ni detergentes agresivos.

•

No podrá reclamarse garantía o responsabilidad

alguna por cualquier daño personal o material re-

sultante si se utiliza el altavoz para ﬁnes diferentes

a los originalmente concebidos, si no se instala

o se conecta correctamente, o si se sobrecarga.

Si va a poner el altavoz deﬁnitivamente

fuera de servicio, llévelo a la planta de reci-

claje más cercana para que su eliminación

no sea perjudicial para el medioambiente.

3 Instalación

Utilice el soporte para instalar el altavoz en un

lugar adecuado. Para alinear el altavoz, aﬂoje las

tuercas de ﬁjación del soporte, mueva el altavoz

adecuadamente, y apriete de nuevo las tuercas.

4 Conexión Eléctrica

ADVERTENCIA Para conectar el IT-33, preste aten-

ción a las siguientes advertencias:

Durante el funcionamiento, hay

peligro de contacto con un volta-

je de hasta 100 V en el cable de

conexión.

Sólo un técnico debe realizar la instalación. Aísle

siempre los conductores del cable de conexión

del altavoz que no se utilizan.

Preste atención a la carga del ampliﬁcador de me-

gafonía con los altavoces. Una sobrecarga puede

dañar el ampliﬁcador. La potencia total de todos

los altavoces conectados no puede sobrepasar la

potencia del ampliﬁcador.

1) Desconecte primero el ampliﬁcador al que quiere

conectar el altavoz.

2) -Conecte el modelo NR-254KS a la salida de alta

voz del ampliﬁcador (conductor marrón = polo

positivo, conductor azul = polo negativo).

Modelo IT-33: Conecte el cable de altavoz a la

línea de audio de 100 V del ampliﬁcador de me-

gafonía: Conecte el conductor blanco y uno de

los otros conductores coloreados que se corres-

ponda con la potencia nominal deseada (volu-

men) al cable de audio de 100 V.
