Music Horn Speaker
These instructions are intended for installers with
specific knowledge in sound reproduction using
100 V technology. Please read the instructions
carefully prior to installation and keep them for
later reference.
1 Applications
This horn speaker is specially designed for application
in PA systems using 100 V technique. With EN 54-24
certification, it has been approved for voice alarm sys-
tems. As a 2-way system, it is equipped with a 16 cm
bass-midrange speaker and a 2.5 cm tweeter horn
and thus offers good music reproduction. Due to the
weatherproof design (IP 66), the speaker is also suita-
ble for outdoor installation.
2 Important Notes
The speaker corresponds to all relevant directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with .
•
For cleaning, never use aggressive detergents or
chemicals.
•
No guarantee claims for the speaker and no liabil-
ity for any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if the speaker is used for
other purposes than originally intended, if it is not
installed in an expert way, not correctly connected,
or if it is overloaded.
If the speaker is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling plant
for a disposal which is not harmful to the
environment.
3 Installation
WARNING During operation, there is a haz-
ard of contact with a dangerous
voltage of up to 100 V at the con-
nection cable. The installation must
always be carried out by skilled
personnel. Observe the load of the speakers on the
amplifier. An overload may damage the amplifier!
1) Always switch off the PA amplifier before installing
the speaker so that the speaker cable will not carry
any voltage!
2) Unscrew the protective cover on the rear of the
speaker. The terminal strip is now accessible.
3) Pull the 100 V audio cable from the PA amplifier
through the cable inlet of the protective cover and
connect it to the terminal strip: Use the terminal
with the red core and a terminal with the coloured
core which corresponds to the desired power rat-
ing by the speaker (☞table). Make sure that all
speakers of a speaker zone have the same polarity.

4) Tightly close the cover again.
5) Use at least two screws to fasten the mounting
bracket at the desired place of installation (e. g.
wall or ceiling).
6) Align the speaker to the speaker zone and fasten
the two lateral screws at the mounting bracket.

Druckkammer-Musikhorn
Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure mit
Fachkenntnissen in der 100-V-Beschallungstech-
nik. Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung vor der Instal-
lation gründlich durch und heben Sie sie für ein
späteres Nachlesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Dieser Druckkammerlautsprecher ist speziell für den
Einsatz in ELA-Anlagen konzipiert, die mit 100-V-Tech-
nik arbeiten. Er ist mit einer Zertifizierung nach
EN 54-24 für den Einsatz in Sprachalarmierungsanla-
gen zugelassen. Er ist als 2-Wege-System mit einem
16-cm-Tiefmitteltöner und einem 2,5-cm-Hochton-
horn ausgestattet und erreicht dadurch eine gute
Musikwiedergabe. Durch die wetterfeste Ausführung
(IP 66) eignet sich der Lautsprecher auch für eine
Außenmontage.
2 Wichtige Hinweise
Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen relevanten Richtlini-
en der EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.
•
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung keine scharfen
Reinigungsmittel oder Chemikalien.
•
Wird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht fach-
gerecht montiert, falsch angeschlossen oder über-
lastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende
Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie für
den Lautsprecher übernommen werden.
Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben Sie
ihn zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem
örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Installation
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefährli-
che Spannung bis 100 V an der An-
schlussleitung an. Die Installation darf
nur durch Fachpersonal erfolgen.
Achten Sie auf die Belastung des ELA- Verstärkers
durch die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlastung kann den
Verstärker beschädigen!
1) Vor der Installation des Lautsprechers den ELA-
Verstärker ausschalten, damit die Lautsprecherlei-
tung spannungsfrei ist!
2) -Auf der Rückseite des Lautsprechers den Schutz
deckel abschrauben. Die Anschlussleiste ist jetzt
zugänglich.
3) Die 100-V-Audioleitung vom ELA-Verstärker durch
die Kabeldurchführung des Schutz deckels ziehen
und mit der Anschlussleiste verbinden: Die Klemme
mit der roten Ader verwenden und eine Klemme
mit der farbigen Ader, die der gewünschten Nenn-
belastung durch den Lautsprecher entspricht
(☞
Tabelle). Dabei auf die gleiche Polung aller
Lautsprecher eines Beschallungs bereichs achten.

4) Den Deckel wieder dicht verschließen.
5) -Den Montagebügel mit mindestens zwei Schrau
ben an der gewünschten Montagestelle (z. B. Wand
oder Decke) befestigen.
6) Den Lautsprecher auf den Beschallungsbereich
ausrichten und die beiden seitlichen Schrauben am
Montagebügel festdrehen.

Tromba a compressione
per musica
Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori con
una conoscenza specifica della riproduzione del
suono utilizzando la tecnologia 100 V. Leggere
attentamente le istruzioni prima dell’installazione
e conservarle per riferimento futuro.
1 Possibilità d’impiego
Questo altoparlante a compressione è stato realizzato
specialmente per l’impiego in impianti PA che lavorano
con la tecnica dell’uscita audio 100 V. Con la certifi-
cazione EN 54-24, è stato approvato per i sistemi di
allarme vocale. Come sistema a 2vie, è equipaggiato
con un woofer/midrange di 16 cm e con un tweeter a
tromba di 2,5 cm e offre in questo modo una buona ri-
produzione della musica. Grazie alla struttura resisten-
te alle intemperie (IP 66), il diffusore è adatto anche per
un montaggio all’esterno.
2 Avvertenze importanti
Il diffusore è conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti
dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .
•
Per la pulizia non usare detersivi aggressivi o prodotti
chimici.
•
Nel caso d’uso improprio, di montaggio non a regola
d’arte, di collegamenti sbagliati o di sovraccarico del
diffusore, non si assume nessuna responsabilità per
eventuali danni consequenziali a persone o a cose
e non si assume nessuna garanzia per il diffusore.
Se si desidera eliminare il diffusore definiti-
vamente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento ad
un’istituzione locale per il riciclaggio.
3 Installazione
AVVERTIMENTO Durante il funzionamento, nel cavo
di collegamento è presente una
tensione fino a 100 V, pericolosa
in caso di contatto. L’installazione
deve essere eseguita solo da personale specializzato.
Tener presente il carico dell’amplificatore PA da parte
degli altoparlanti. Un sovraccarico può danneggiare
l’amplificatore!
1) Spegnere sempre l’amplificatore PA prima di instal-
lare il diffusore in modo che il cavo dell’altoparlante
non possa portare alcun voltaggio!
2) Svitare il coperchio protettivo dal retro del diffusore.
Ora è accessibile la morsettiera.
3) Fare passa la linea 100 V dall’amplificatore PA at-
traverso il passacavo del coperchio e collegarla con
la morsettiera: collegare un morsetto con il condut-
tore rosso e l’altro morsetto con il conduttore il cui
colore corrisponde alla potenza nominale richiesta
per l’altoparlante (☞tabella). Assicurarsi che tutti
gli altoparlanti di una zona degli altoparlanti abbia-
no la stessa polarità.

4) Richiudere bene il coperchio.
5) Utilizzare almeno due viti per fissare la staffa di
montaggio nel punto di installazione desiderato
(ad esempio parete o soffitto).
6) Allineare l’altoparlante e serrare le due viti laterali
sulla staffa di montaggio.

Haut-parleur à chambre de
compression (pavillon musique)
Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs possédant
des connaissances spécifiques en sonorisation
ligne 100 V. Veuillez lire la présente notice avec
attention avant l’installation et conservez-la pour
pouvoir vous y reporter ultérieurement.
1 Possibilités d’utilisation
Ce haut-parleur à chambre de compression est spé-
cialement conçu pour une utilisation dans des installa-
tions Public Adress fonctionnant en ligne 100 V. Grâce
à sa certification EN 54-24, il peut être utilisé dans les
installations d’alarme par message vocale. Il est équi-
pé, en tant que système 2 voies, d’un haut-parleur de
grave-médium 16 cm et d’un pavillon aigu 2,5 cm ; il
permet ainsi une bonne restitution de la musique. Il
est résistant aux intempéries (IP 66) et peut donc être
installé en extérieur.
2 Conseils importants
Le haut-parleur répond à toutes les directives néces-
saires de l’Union européenne et porte donc le symbole
.
•
Pour le nettoyage, n’utilisez pas de détergents abra-
sifs ou de produits chimiques.
•
Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-
mages matériels ou corporels résultants si le haut-
parleur est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour
lequel il a été conçu, s’il n’est pas correctement
monté ou branché ou s’il y a surcharge ; en outre, la
garantie deviendrait caduque.
Lorsque le haut-parleur est définitivement
retiré du service, vous devez le déposer dans
une usine de recyclage adaptée pour contri-
buer à son élimination non polluante.
3 Installation
AVERTISSEMENT Pendant le fonctionnement, une
tension de contact dangereuse
jusqu’à 100 V est présente au
câble de branchement. Seul un
personnel qualifié peut effectuer l’installation. Faites
attention à la charge de l’amplificateur PA par les
haut-parleurs. Une surcharge peut en dommager
l’amplificateur.
1) Avant d’installer le haut-parleur, éteignez l’amplifi-
cateur Public Adress pour que le câble haut-parleur
ne soit pas porteur de tension !
2) Sur la face arrière du haut-parleur, dévissez le cou-
vercle de protection. La barrette de connexion est
maintenant accessible.
3) Tirez le câble audio 100 V de l’amplificateur Pu-
blic Adress via le passage de câble prévu dans le
couvercle de protection et reliez-le à la barrette de
connexion : utilisez la borne avec le conducteur
rouge et une borne avec le conducteur de couleur
qui correspond à la puissance nominale souhaitée
par le haut-parleur (☞tableau). Veillez à ce que
les haut-parleurs de la même zone de sonorisation
aient la même polarité.

4) Refermez le couvercle et veillez à son étanchéité.
5) Fixez l’étrier de montage à l’endroit souhaité (par
exemple au mur ou au plafond) avec deux vis au
moins.
6) Orientez le haut-parleur vers la zone à sonoriser et
serrez les deux vis latérales sur l’étrier de montage.
