PA Speaker Column
These instructions are intended for installers
with specific knowledge in 100 V PA tech-
nology. Please read the instructions carefully
prior to installation and keep them for later
reference.
1 Applications
The speaker column has been specially designed
for PA systems operating with 100 V technology.
Designed as a two-way system, it is suitable for
speech and music reproduction. Due to its weather-
proof aluminium profile housing, the speaker
column can also be used for outside applications
(IP rating: IP 66).
2 Safety Notes
The speaker column corresponds to all relevant di-
rectives of the EU and is therefore marked with .
•
Protect the speaker column against extreme tem-
peratures. The admissible ambient temperature
range is –20 °C to +50 °C.
•
For cleaning only use a soft cloth, dry or slightly
wet; never use chemicals or aggressive detergents.
•
No guarantee claims for the speaker column and
no liability for any resulting personal damage or
material damage will be accepted if the speaker
column is used for other purposes than originally
intended or if it is not correctly installed.
If the speaker column is to be put out
of operation definitively, take it to a local
recycling plant for a disposal which is not
harmful to the environment.
3 Installation
The column speaker is provided with two brackets
and screws with dowels. Find a suitable location
and screw on the speaker column in an expert
manner.
IMPORTANT Always use both brackets to ensure
safe installation!
WARNING During operation, there is a hazard
of contact with a dangerous voltage
of up to 100 V at the speaker cable.
Installation must be made by skilled
personnel only.
1) Prior to making any electrical connection, switch
off the PA amplifier so that the speaker cable will
not carry any voltage.
2) Use the connection terminals to connect the
speaker column to the 100 V audio cable of the
PA amplifier:

WARNING Always insulate the cores that are not
used. During operation, there is a hazard of contact
with dangerous voltage at these cores.
3) -When connecting multiple speakers to the am
plifier, make sure that all speakers have the same
polarity (e. g. black core = negative pole) and do
not overload the amplifier: The total load of the
speakers must not exceed the amplifier power.
An overload may damage the amplifier!
4) Finally, align the speaker column in an optimum
way to the speaker zone.

ELA-Lautsprechersäule
Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure
mit Fachkenntnissen in der 100-V-Beschal-
lungstechnik. Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung vor
der Installation gründlich durch und heben Sie
sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Die Lautsprechersäule ist speziell für den Einsatz
in ELA-Anlagen konzipiert, die mit 100-V-Technik
arbeiten. Sie ist als 2-Wege-System ausgeführt und
eignet sich sowohl für Sprach- als auch für Musik-
wiedergabe. Durch das wetterfeste Aluminium-
Profilgehäuse kann die Lautsprechersäule auch im
Außen bereich eingesetzt werden (Schutzart IP 66).
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Die Lautsprechersäule entspricht allen relevanten
Richt linien der EU und trägt deshalb das -Zei-
chen.
•
Schützen Sie die Lautsprechersäule vor extremen
Temperaturen. Der zulässige Einsatztemperaturbe-
reich beträgt −20 °C bis +50 °C.
•
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein tro-
ckenes oder angefeuchtetes, weiches Tuch, auf
keinen Fall Chemikalien oder aggressive Reini-
gungsmittel.
•
Wird die Lautsprechersäule zweckentfremdet
oder nicht fachgerecht installiert, kann keine
Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder Per-
sonenschäden und keine Garantie für die Laut-
sprechersäule übernommen werden.
Soll die Lautsprechersäule endgültig aus
dem Betrieb genommen werden, überge-
ben Sie sie zur umweltgerechten Entsor-
gung einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Installation
Zur Montage liegen zwei Winkel und Schrauben
mit Dübeln bei. Die Lautsprechersäule an geeigne-
ter Stelle fachgerecht anschrauben.
WICHTIG Zur sicheren Montage unbedingt beide
Winkel verwenden!
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefähr-
liche Spannung bis 100 V an der
Lautsprecherleitung an. Die Instal-
lation darf nur durch Fachpersonal
erfolgen.
1) Vor dem elektrischem Anschluss den ELA-Ver-
stärker ausschalten, damit die Lautsprecherlei-
tung spannungsfrei ist!
2) Die Lautsprechersäule über Anschlussklemmen
an die 100-V-Audioleitung vom ELA-Verstärker
anschließen:

WARNUNG Isolieren Sie unbedingt die unbenutz-
ten Adern. An ihnen liegt im Betrieb berührungs-
gefährliche Spannung an.
3) Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern an
den Verstärker darauf achten, dass alle gleich
gepolt werden (z. B. schwarze Ader = Minuspol)
und den Verstärker nicht überlasten: Die Summe
der Leistungen aller Lautsprecher darf die Ver-
stärkerleistung nicht überschreiten. Eine Über-
lastung kann den Verstärker beschädigen!
4) Zuletzt die Lautsprechersäule optimal auf den zu
beschallenden Bereich ausrichten.

Colonna sonora PA
Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori
con conoscenze specifiche della tecnica 100 V
di sonorizzazione. Vi preghiamo di leggerle
attentamente prima dell’installazione e di
tenerle per un uso futuro.
1 Possibilità d’impiego
La colonna sonora è prevista in modo particolare
per l’impiego in impianti PA che funzionano con la
tecnica a 100 V. È realizzata come sistema a 2 vie ed
è adatta per la riproduzione sia della lingua parlata
che della musica. Grazie al contenitore di allumi-
nio profilato, resistente alle intemperie, la colonna
sonora può essere usata anche all’esterno (grado i
protezione IP 66).
2 Avvertenze per l’uso sicuro
La colonna sonora è conforme a tutte le direttive
rilevanti dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .
•
Proteggere la colonna sonora dalle temperature
estreme. La temperatura d’esercizio ammessa è
−20 °C a +50 °C.
•
Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto
o leggermente inumidito; non impiegare in nessun
caso prodotti chimici o detergenti aggressivi.
•
Nel caso d’uso improprio o d’installazione non a
regola d’arte della colonna sonora, non si assume
nessuna responsabilità per eventuali danni con-
sequenziali a persone o a cose e non si assume
nessuna garanzia per la colonna sonora
Se si desidera eliminare la colonna sonora
definitivamente, consegnarla per lo smal-
timento ad un‘istituzione locale per il
riciclaggio.
3 Installazione
Per il montaggio sono in dotazione due angoli e
viti con tasselli. Avvitare a regola d’arte la colonna
sonora in un punto adatto.
IMPORTANTE Per un montaggio sicuro usare asso-
lutamente entrambi gli angoli!
AVVERTIMENTO Durante il funzionamento, nel
cavo dell’altoparlante è presente
una tensione fino a 100 V, perico-
losa in caso di contatto. L‘instal-
lazione deve essere eseguita solo
da personale specializzato.
1) -Prima del collegamento elettrico spegnere l’am
plificatore PA per togliere la tensione dal cavo
dell’altoparlante!
2) Collegare la colonna sonora con i contatti audio
100 V dell’amplificatore PA usando dei morsetti
di collegamento:

AVVERTIMENTO Isolare assolutamente i condut-
tori non usati. Durante l’uso portano una tensione
pericolosa in caso di contatto.
3) Collegando più altoparlanti con l’amplificatore
far attenzione che tutti abbiano la medesima po-
larità (p. es. conduttore nero = polo negativo) e
di non sovraccaricare l’amplificatore: La somma
delle potenze di tutti gli altoparlanti non deve
superare la potenza dell’amplificatore. Il sovrac-
carico può danneggiare l’amplificatore!
4) Alla fine orientare la colonna sonora in modo
ottimale verso la zona da sonorizzare.

Colonne sonore Public Adress
Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs possédant
des connaissances spécifiques en sonorisation
ligne 100 V. Veuillez lire la présente notice avec
attention avant l’installation et conservez-la pour
pouvoir vous y reporter ultérieurement.
1 Possibilités d’utilisation
La colonne sonore est spécialement conçue pour
une utilisation dans des installations de Public
Adress fonctionnant en 100 V. Il s’agit d’un système
2voies et elle est très bien adaptée pour la restitu-
tion de discours et de musique. Grâce au boîtier en
profilé d’aluminium étanche, la colonne peut être
utilisée en extérieur (protection IP 66).
2 Conseils d’utilisation
La colonne sonore répond à toutes les directives
nécessaires de l’Union européenne et porte donc
le symbole .
•
Protégez la colonne sonore des températures
extrêmes. La plage de température autorisée est
de –20 °C à +50 °C.
•
Pour le nettoyage, utilisez un tissu sec ou légère-
ment humidifié et doux, en aucun cas de produits
chimiques ou produits de nettoyage agressifs.
•
Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de
dommages matériels ou corporels résultants si la
colonne sonore est utilisée dans un but autre que
celui pour lequel elle a été conçue ou si elle n’est
pas correctement installée, en outre, la garantie
deviendrait caduque.
Lorsque la colonne sonore est définitivement
retirée du service, vous devez la déposer
dans une usine de recyclage adaptée pour
contribuer à son élimination non polluante.
3 Installation
Pour le montage, deux étriers et vis avec chevilles
sont livrés. Vissez la colonne à l’endroit adéquat.
IMPORTANT Pour garantir un montage sûr, veillez
à utiliser les deux étriers !
AVERTISSEMENT
Pendant le fonctionnement, une
tension dangereuse jusqu’à 100 V
est présente sur le câble haut-
parleur. Seul un personnel qua-
lifié peut effectuer l’installation.
1) Eteignez l’amplificateur Public Adress avant d’ef-
fectuer le branchement électrique pour que le
câble haut-parleur ne soit pas porteur de tension.
2) -Reliez la colonne sonore via les bornes de bran
chement au câble audio 100 V de l’amplificateur

AVERTISSEMENT Isolez impérativement les conduc-
teurs non utilisés. Une tension dangereuse est pré-
sente sur ces conducteurs pendant le fonctionnement.
3) -Si vous branchez plusieurs enceintes sur l’amplifi
cateur, veillez à ce qu’elles aient toutes la même
polarité (p. ex. conducteur noir = pôle moins) et
à ce que l’amplificateur ne soit pas en surcharge.
La somme des puissances de toutes les enceintes
ne doit pas dépasser la puissance de l’amplifi-
cateur. Toute surcharge peut endommager
l’amplificateur.
4) Pour terminer, orientez la colonne de manière
optimale vers la zone à sonoriser.
