PA Ball Speaker
These instructions are intended for installers
with specific knowledge of sound reproduc-
tion using 100 V technology. Please read the
instructions carefully prior to installation and
keep them for later reference.
1 Applications
This ball speaker is specially designed for 100 V
applications in PA systems. A high-quality 25 cm
full range speaker ensures good reproduction of
speech and music. For a perfect omnidirectional
sound radiation, a superior sound reflector has
been integrated into the white ABS housing.
2 Safety Notes
The speaker corresponds to all relevant directives
of the EU and is therefore marked with .
•
The speaker is suitable for indoor use only. Pro-
tect it against dripping water and splash water,
high air humidity, and heat (admissible ambient
temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
•
For cleaning only use a soft cloth, dry or slightly
damp; never use chemicals or aggressive deter-
gents.
•
No guarantee claims for the speaker and no
liability for any resulting personal damage or
material damage will be accepted if the speaker is
used for other purposes than originally intended,
if it is not correctly installed or connected, or if
it is overloaded.
If the speaker is to be put out of opera-
tion definitively, dispose of the speaker in
accordance with local regulations.
3 Installation
WARNING During operation, there is a hazard
of contact with a dangerous voltage
of up to 100 V at the connection
cable. Installation must be carried
out by skilled personnel only.
Always insulate the cores of the connection cable
which are not used. Observe the load of the PA
amplifier by the speakers. Overload will damage
the PA amplifier! The total power of all speakers
connected must not exceed the amplifier power.
1) Suspend the speaker from a suitable place on
the ceiling.
2) Prior to electrical connection of the speaker,
switch off the PA system completely so that the
100 V audio cable from the PA amplifier will not
carry any voltage!
3) Connect the cable of the speaker to the 100 V
audio cable from the PA amplifier: Connect the
blue core and one of the other coloured cores
corresponding to the desired power rating (vol-
ume) to the 100 V audio cable.

4) When connecting several speakers, make sure
that all speakers have the same polarity (e. g.
blue core = negative pole) and that the PA
amplifier is not overloaded.
5) Finally push the protective cap towards the ceil-
ing to conceal the connection.

ELA-Kugellautsprecher
Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure
mit Fachkenntnissen in der 100-V-Beschal-
lungstechnik. Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung vor
der Installation gründlich durch und heben Sie
sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Dieser Kugellautsprecher ist speziell für den Einsatz
in ELA-Beschallungsanlagen konzipiert, die mit
100-V-Technik arbeiten. Ein hochwertiger 25-cm-
Breitband lautsprecher sorgt für eine gute Sprach-
und Musikwiedergabe. Für eine perfekte Rund-
um-Schallabstrahlung ist in das weiße ABS-Ge-
häuse ein aufwendiger Schallreflektor integriert.
2 Sicherheitshinweise
Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen relevanten Richt-
linien der EU und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen.
•
Der Lautsprecher ist nur zur Verwendung im
Innenbereich geeignet. Schützen Sie ihn vor
Tropf- und Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit
und Hitze (zu lässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich
0 – 40 °C.
•
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes
oder leicht angefeuchtetes, weiches Tuch, auf
keinen Fall scharfe Reinigungsmittel oder Che-
mikalien.
•
Wird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht
fachgerecht montiert, falsch angeschlossen oder
überlastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultie-
rende Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Ga-
rantie für den Lautsprecher übernommen werden.
Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, entsorgen
Sie ihn gemäß den örtlichen Vorschriften.
3 Installation
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefähr-
liche Spannung bis 100 V an der
Anschlussleitung an. Die Installa-
tion darf nur durch Fachpersonal
erfolgen.
Isolieren Sie unbedingt die nicht benutzten Adern
der Anschlussleitung. Achten Sie auf die Belas-
tung des ELA-Verstärkers durch die Lautsprecher.
Eine Überlastung kann den Verstärker beschädi-
gen! Die Summe der Leistungen aller angeschlos-
senen Lautsprecher darf die Verstärkerleistung
nicht überschreiten.
1) Den Lautsprecher an geeigneter Stelle der
Decke aufhängen.
2) Vor dem elektrischen Anschluss des Lautspre-
chers die ELA-Anlage komplett ausschalten,
damit die 100-V-Audioleitung vom ELA-Verstär-
ker spannungsfrei ist!
3) Die Leitung des Lautsprechers an die 100-V-
Audioleitung vom ELA-Verstärker anschließen:
Die blaue Ader und eine der anderen farbigen
Adern, die der gewünschten Nennbelastung
(Lautstärke) entspricht, mit der 100-V-Audio-
leitung verbinden.

4) Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern
darauf achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich
gepolt werden (z. B. blaue Ader = Minusan-
schluss) und dass der ELA-Verstärker nicht über-
lastet wird.
5) Zum Schluss die Sichtschutzkappe bis zur Decke
über die Anschlüsse schieben.

Diffusore PA a sfera
Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori
che possiedono delle conoscenze specifiche
della tecnica di sonorizzazione a 100 V. Vi
preghiamo di leggerle attentamente prima
dell‘installazione e di conservarle per un uso
futuro.
1 Possibilità d’impiego
Questo diffusore a sfera è stato realizzato spe-
cialmente per l’impiego in impianti PA di sonoriz-
zazione che lavorano con uscita audio 100 V. Un
altoparlante di alta qualità a larga banda di 25 cm
provvede ad un’ottima riproduzione della lingua
parlata e della musica. Per una diffusione perfetta
del suono in tutte le direzioni, nel contenitore in
ABS è integrato un prezioso riflettore del suono.
2 Avvertenze di sicurezza
Il diffusore è conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti
dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .
•
Il diffusore è previsto solo per l’uso all’interno
di locali. Proteggerlo dall’acqua gocciolante e
dagli spruzzi d’acqua, da alta umidità dell’aria e
dal calore (temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra
0 – 40 °C).
•
Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido,
asciutto o leggermente inumidito; non impie-
gare in nessun caso detergenti o prodotti chimici
aggressivi.
•
Nel caso d’uso improprio, di montaggio scor-
retto, di collegamenti sbagliati o di sovraccarico
del diffusore, non si assume nessuna responsabi-
lità per eventuali danni consequenziali a persone
o a cose e non si assume nessuna garanzia per
il diffusore.
Se si desidera eliminare il diffusore de-
finitivamente, consegnarlo per lo smal-
timento ad un’istituzione locale per il
riciclaggio.
3 Installazione
AVVERTIMENTO
Durante il funzionamento, al
cavo di collegamento è pre-
sente una tensione pericolosa
fino a 100 V. L’installazione deve
essere fatta solo da personale
qualificato.
Isolare assolutamente i conduttori non usati del
cavo di collegamento. Fare attenzione al carico
che gli altoparlanti esercitano sull’amplificatore
PA. Un sovraccarico può danneggiare l’amplifi-
catore! La somma delle potenze di tutti gli alto-
parlanti collegati non deve superare la potenza
dell’amplificatore.
1) Appendere il diffusore in un punto adatto del
soffitto.
2) Prima di effettuare il collegamento elettrico
dell’altoparlante, occorre spegnere comple-
tamente l’impianto PA, affinché la linea audio
100 V dall’amplificatore PA sia esente di ten-
sione!
3) -Collegare i conduttori dell’altoparlante con l’u
scita audio 100 V dell’amplificatore PA: collegare
il conduttore blu e uno dei conduttori colorati
che corrisponde alla potenza nominale deside-
rata (volume) con l’uscita audio 100 V.

4) Collegando più altoparlanti fare attenzione
all’identica polarità di tutti gli altoparlanti (p. es.
conduttore blu = negativo) e di non sovraccari-
care l’amplificatore PA.
5) Alla fine spingere il cappuccio protettivo fino al
soffitto per coprire i collegamenti.

Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs pos-
sédant des connaissances en technique de
sonorisation ligne 100 V. Veuillez lire la pré-
sente notice avec attention avant l‘installation
et conservez-la pour pouvoir vous y reporter
ultérieurement.
1 Possibilités d‘utilisation
Ce haut-parleur boule est spécialement conçu pour
une utilisation dans des installations de sonorisa-
tion Public Adress fonctionnant en ligne 100 V. Un
haut-parleur large bande 25 cm de haute qualité
permet une bonne restitution de la musique et des
paroles. Pour une dispersion omnidirectionnelle et
parfaite du son, un réflecteur de son de haute qua-
lité est intégré dans le boîtier blanc ABS.
2 Conseils de sécurité
Le haut-parleur répond à toutes les directives
nécessaires de l’Union européenne et porte donc
le symbole .
•
Le haut-parleur n’est conçu que pour une utilisa-
tion en intérieur. Protégez-le des éclaboussures,
de tout type de projections d’eau, d’une humi-
dité élevée de l’air et de la chaleur (température
ambiante admissible 0 – 40 °C).
•
Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon
doux, sec ou légèrement humide, en aucun cas
de produits chimiques ou de détergents agressifs.
•
Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de
dommages matériels ou corporels résultants
si le haut-parleur est utilisé dans un but autre
que celui pour lequel il a été conçu, s’il n’est
pas correctement installé ou branché ou s’il y
a surcharge ; en outre, la garantie deviendrait
caduque.
Lorsque le haut-parleur est définiti-
vement retiré du service, éliminez-le
conformément aux directives locales.
3 Installation
AVERTISSEMENT Pendant le fonctionnement, une
tension de contact dangereuse
jusqu’à 100 V est présente au
câble de connexion. Seul un
personnel qualifié peut effec-
tuer l’installation.
Isolez impérativement les conducteurs inutilisés
du câble de branchement. Faites attention à la
charge de l’amplificateur Public Adress par les
haut-parleurs. Une surcharge peut l’endomma-
ger ! La somme des puissance de tous les haut-
parleurs reliés ne doit pas dépasser la puissance
de l’amplificateur.
1) Suspendez le haut-parleur à l’endroit adéquat
au plafond.
2) Veillez à éteindre l’intégralité de l’installation
Public Adress avant d’effectuer le branchement
électrique du haut-parleur pour que le câble
audio 100 V de l’amplificateur Public Adress soit
hors tension !
3) Reliez le câble du haut-parleur au câble audio
100 V de l’amplificateur Public Adress : reliez le
con ducteur bleu et un des autres conducteurs
de couleur, correspondant à la puissance nomi-
nale souhaitée (volume), au câble audio 100 V:

4) Si vous branchez plusieurs haut-parleurs, veillez
à ce que les haut-parleurs aient tous la même
polarité (p. ex. conducteur bleu = pôle moins)
et à ce que l’amplificateur Public Adress ne soit
pas en surcharge.
5) Pour terminer, poussez le cache de protection
vers le plafond pour cacher les branchements.

Głośnik kulowy
Niniejsza instrukcja przeznaczona jest instala-
torów posiadających wiedzę w zakresie syste-
mów PA pracujących w technice 100 V. Przed
rozpoczęciem użytkowania proszę zapoznać
się z instrukcją, a następnie zachować ją do
wglądu.
1 Zastosowanie
Niniejszy głośnik kulowy jest przeznaczony do
pracy w systemach 100 V. Wysokiej jakości 25 cm
pełnozakresowy głośnik zapewnia dobre przetwa-
rzanie sygnału mowy oraz muzyki. Dla uzyskania
perfekcyjnie dookolnej emisji dźwięku, obudowę
wyposażono w specjalny reflektor dźwiękowy.
Obudowę wykonano z białego ABS.
2 Środki bezpieczeństwa
Głośnik spełnia wszystkie wymagania norm UE
dzięki czemu został oznaczony symbolem .
•
Głośnik przeznaczony jest do instalacji wyłącznie
wewnątrz pomieszczeń. Należy chronić go przed
działaniem wody, dużej wilgotności oraz wyso-
kiej temperatury (dopuszczalny zakres 0 – 40 °C).
•
Do czyszczenia używać suchej miękkiej ście-
reczki. Nie używać wody ani silnych środków
chemicznych.
•
Producent i dostawca nie ponoszą odpowiedzial-
ności za powstałe szkody: uszkodzenia sprzętu
bądź obrażenia użytkownika, jeżeli głośnik był
używany niezgodnie z przeznaczeniem, niepo-
prawnie zainstalowany, podłączony lub przecią-
żony.
Po całkowitym zakończeniu eksploatacji,
gło śnik należy oddać do punktu utyliza-
cji odpadów, aby uniknąć zanieczyszcze-
nia środowiska.
3 Instalacja
UWAGA Podczas pracy urządzenia na przy-
łączu linii występuje napięcie osią-
gające do 100 V, które stanowi po-
tencjalne zagrożenie dla zdrowia
lub życia. Podłączenie urządzenia
należy zlecić specjaliście.
Należy zawsze zabezpieczać żyły przewodu po-
łączeniowego na jego nieużywanych końcach.
Należy zwrócić uwagę na odpowiedni dobór
mocy głośników do mocy wzmacniacza. Nieod-
powiedni dobór mocy głośników może spowo-
dować uszkodzenie wzmacniacza PA! Całkowita
moc wszystkich podłączonych głośników nie
może przekraczać mocy wzmacniacza.
1) Zamontować głośnik w odpowiednim miejscu
na suficie.
2) Przed przystąpieniem do podłączania, należy
bezwzględnie wyłączyć cały system audio, aby
w kablu głośnikowym i na zaciskach głośnika
nie występowało niebezpieczne napięcie 100 V!
3) Podłączyć głośnik do kabla głośnikowego 100 V:
niebieską żyłę oraz jedną z pozostałych, w za-
leżności od żądanej mocy (głośności) głośnika.

4) -Przy podłączaniu kilku głośników, należy zwró
cić uwagę, aby wszystkie głośniki miały jedna-
kową polaryzację (np. niebieska żyła = ujemny
biegun) oraz wzmacniacz nie został przeciążony.
5) Ostatecznie, umieścić ochronną pokrywę na
połączeniu.

Altavoz de bola para megafonía
Estas instrucciones van dirigidas a instala-
dores con un conocimiento suficiente sobre
la tecnología de 100 V en aplicaciones para
megafonía. Lea atentamente estas instruccio-
nes antes de la instalación y guárdelas para
usos posteriores.
1 Aplicaciones
El altavoz de bola para megafonía está diseñado
es pe cialmente para aplicaciones de 100 V en sis-
temas de megafonía. Un altavoz Full Range de
alta calidad y de 25 cm asegura una buena repro-
ducción de discursos y música. Para una radiación
omnidireccional perfecta del sonido, se p3-ha inte-
grado un reflector de sonido superior en la carcasa
blanca en ABS.
2 Notas Importantes
El altavoz cumple con todas las directivas relevan-
tes de la UE y por ello está marcado con .
•
El altavoz está adecuado sólo para utilizarlo en
interiores. Proteja el aparato de goteos y salpica-
duras, elevada humedad del aire y calor (tempe-
ratura ambiente admisible: 0 – 40 ºC).
•
Utilice sólo un paño suave, seco o ligeramente
humedecido para la limpieza; no utilice nunca
productos químicos o detergentes agresivos.
•
No podrá reclamarse garantía o responsabilidad
alguna por cualquier daño personal o mate-
rial producido si se utiliza el altavoz para fines
diferentes a los originalmente concebidos, si
no se instala o conecta correctamente, o si se
sobrecarga.
Si el altavoz se va a dejar fuera de servicio
definitivamente, deshágase del altavoz
según las normativas locales.
3 Instalación
ADVERTENCIA Durante el funcionamiento, existe
el peligro de contacto con un vol-
taje de hasta 100 V en el cable de
conexión. Sólo un técnico debe
realizar la instalación.
Aísle siempre los conductores del cable de cone-
xión del altavoz que no se utilizan. Preste aten-
ción a la carga del sistema de megafonía con los
altavoces. ¡Una sobrecarga puede dañar el ampli-
ficador! La potencia total de todos los altavoces
conectados no puede sobrepasar la potencia del
amplificador.
1) Cuelgue el altavoz desde un lugar adecuado en
el techo.
2) -Antes de conectar el altavoz, desconecte el sis
tema de megafonía completamente de modo
que el cable de audio de 100 V del amplificador
no contenga ningún voltaje.
3) Conecte el cable del altavoz al cable de audio de
100 V del amplificador de megafonía: Conecte
el conductor azul y uno de los otros conducto-
res coloreados que corresponda con el nivel de
potencia deseado (volumen) al cable de audio
de 100 V.

4) Cuando conecte varios altavoces, asegúrese de
que todos los altavoces tienen la misma polari-
dad (p. ej. conductor azul = negativo) y de que
el amplificador de megafonía no está sobrecar-
gado.
5) Finalmente apriete el capuchón de protección
contra el techo para ocultar las conexiones.
