PA Ceiling Speaker

These instructions are intended for installers

with speciﬁc knowledge in 100 V PA tech-

nology. Please read the instructions carefully

prior to installation and keep them for later

reference.

1 Applications

This speaker has especially been designed for

applica tions in PA systems. It is equipped with a

transformer for operation at 100 V systems. The

connected load is matched via the selection of the

terminals. With its additional tweeter, the speaker

is suitable for speech and music reproduction. In

case of ﬁre, the closed housing (ﬁre dome) will

restrict the spread of ﬁre.

2 Important Notes

The speaker corresponds to all relevant directives

of the EU and is therefore marked with .

•

The speaker is suitable for indoor use only. Pro-

tect it against dripping water, splash water and

high air humidity. The admissible ambient tem-

perature range is 0 – 40 °C.

•

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use

chem icals or water.

•

No guarantee claims for the speaker and no

liability for any resulting personal damage or

material damage will be accepted if the speak-

er is used for other purposes than originally in-

tended, if it is not correctly connected or if it is

overloaded.

If the speaker is to be put out of oper-

ation deﬁn itively, take it to a local recy-

cling plant for a disposal which is not

harmful to the environment.

3 Mounting

1) Saw a hole of 225 mm diameter into the ceiling.

2) Make the electrical connection (☞chapter 4).

3) Carefully fold the two clamps upwards and in-

sert the speaker into the ceiling cutout so that

the clamps tightly ﬁx the speaker on the ceiling.

4 Electrical Connection

WARNING During operation, there is a haz-

ard of contact with a voltage of

up to 100 V at the connection

cable. The installation must be

made by skilled personnel only.

Observe the correct power matching. The total

power of all speakers connected must not ex-

ceed the ampliﬁer pow er. An overload may dam-

age the ampliﬁer!

1) If the PA system is switched on, ﬁrst switch it

off completely!

2) Connect the speaker: Connect the terminals for

the desired power rating (☞table) to the 100 V

output of the ampliﬁer.

When connecting several speakers, make sure

that all speakers have the same polarity and that

the ampliﬁer is not overloaded.

ELA-Deckenlautsprecher

Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure

mit Fachkenntnissen in der 100-V-Beschal-

lungstechnik. Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung

vor der Installation gründlich durch und

heben Sie sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.

1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten

Dieser Lautsprecher ist speziell für den Einsatz in

ELA-Anlagen konzipiert. Er ist mit einem Übertra-

ger für den Betrieb an 100-V-Anlagen ausgestat-

tet. Die Anpassung der Anschluss leis tung erfolgt

über die Auswahl der Anschluss klemmen. Mit sei-

nem zusätzlichen Hochtöner ist der Lautsprecher

für Sprach- und Musikwiedergabe geeignet. Das

geschlossene Gehäuse (Feuertopf) erschwert im

Brandfall eine Ausbreitung des Feuers.

2 Wichtige Hinweise

Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen relevanten

Richt linien der EU und ist deshalb mit gekenn-

zeichnet.

•

Der Lautsprecher ist nur zur Verwendung im

Innenbereich geeignet. Schützen Sie ihn vor

Tropf- und Spritz wasser und hoher Luftfeuch-

tigkeit. Der zulässige Einsatztemperaturbereich

beträgt 0 – 40 °C.

•

Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein tro-

ckenes, weiches Tuch, niemals Wasser oder

Chemikalien.

•

Wird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht

fachgerecht angeschlossen oder überlastet,

kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende

Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garan-

tie für den Lautsprecher übernommen werden.

Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem

Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben

Sie ihn zur umwelt gerechten Entsorgung

einem örtlichen Recycling betrieb.

3 Montage

1) In die Decke ein Loch mit 225 mm Durchmesser

sägen.

2) Den elektrischen Anschluss herstellen (☞Kapi-

tel4).

3) Die beiden Klemmarme vorsichtig nach oben

klappen und den Lautsprecher in die Decken-

öffnung ein setzen, so dass die Klemmarme den

Lautsprecher an der Decke festklemmen.

4 Elektrischer Anschluss

WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefähr-

liche Spannung bis 100 V an der

Anschluss leitung an. Die Installa-

tion darf nur durch Fachpersonal

erfolgen.

Achten Sie auf eine richtige Anpassung der

Leistung. Die Summe der Leistungen aller ange-

schlossenen Lautsprecher darf die Verstärkerleis-

tung nicht überschreiten. Eine Überlastung kann

den Verstärker beschädigen!

1) Falls die ELA-Anlage eingeschaltet ist, diese zu-

erst komplett ausschalten!

2) Den Lautsprecher an schließen: Die Anschluss-

klemmen für die gewünschte Nennleis tung

(☞Tabelle) mit dem 100-V-Ausgang des Ver-

stärkers ver binden.

Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern

darauf achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich

gepolt werden und dass der Verstärker nicht über-

lastet wird.

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori

con conoscenze nella tecnica di sonorizzazio-

ne a 100 V. Vi preghiamo di leggerle attenta-

mente prima dell’installazione e di conservar-

le per un uso futuro.

1 Possibilità d’impiego

Questo altoparlante è stato realizzato in modo

particolare per l’impiego in impianti PA. È equi-

paggiato con un trasformatore per impianti con

uscita audio a 100 V. L’adattamento alla poten-

za di connessione avviene per mezzo della scelta

dei morsetti di connessione. Con il suo tweeter

supplementare, l’altoparlante è adatto per la ri-

produzione sia di musica che di lingua parlata. Il

contenitore chiuso (calotta antincendio) ostacola

l’estensione del fuoco in caso d’incendio.

2 Avvertenze di sicurezza

L’altoparlante è conforme a tutte le direttive rile-

vanti dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .

•

L’altoparlante è previsto solo per l’uso all’in-

terno di locali. Proteggerlo dall’acqua goccio-

lante e dagli spruzzi d’acqua e da alta umidità

dell’aria. La temperatura d’esercizio ammessa è

0 – 40 °C.

•

Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido,

asciutto; non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti

chimici o acqua.

•

Nel caso d’uso improprio, di collegamenti sba-

gliati o di sovraccarico dell’altoparlante, non si

assume nessuna responsabilità per eventuali

danni consequenziali a persone o a cose e non

si assume nessuna garanzia per l’altoparlante.

Se si desidera eliminare l’altoparlante

deﬁnitivamente, consegnarlo per lo smal-

timento ad un’istituzione locale per il

riciclaggio.

3 Montaggio

1) Praticare nel sofﬁtto un’apertura con un diame-

tro di 225 mm.

2) Eseguire il collegamento elettrico (☞cap. 4).

3) Ribaltare i due bracci di sostegno delicatamente

verso l’alto ed inserire l’altoparlante nel sofﬁtto

in modo che i bracci stringano l’altoparlante

contro il sofﬁtto.

4 Collegamento elettrico

AVVERTIMENTO Durante il funzionamento, al

cavo di collegamento è pre-

sente una tensione pericolo-

sa ﬁno a 100 V. L’installazione

deve essere fatta solo da perso-

nale qualiﬁcato.

Fare attenzione al corretto adattamento della

po tenza. La somma delle potenze di tutti gli alto-

parlanti collegati non deve superare la potenza

dell’ampliﬁcatore. Un sovraccarico può danneg-

giare l’ampliﬁcatore!

1) Se l’impianto PA è acceso occorre dapprima

spegnerlo completamente!

2) Collegare il diffusore: i morsetti per la potenza

nominale desiderata (☞ tabella) con l’uscita

100 V dell’ampliﬁcatore.

Nel caso di collegamento di più altoparlanti fare

attenzione all’identica polarità di tutti gli altopar-

lanti e di non sovraccaricare l’ampliﬁcatore.

1 Possibilités d’utilisation

Ce haut-parleur est spécialement conçu pour une

utilisation dans des installations de Public Adress.

Il est équipé d’un transformateur pour un fonc-

tionnement dans des ins tallations 100 V. L’adapta-

tion de la puissance de branchement s’effectue en

sélectionnant les bornes de branchement. Avec

son haut-parleur d’aigu supplémentaire, le haut-

parleur est adapté pour la restitution de discours

et de musique. Le boîtier clos (dôme ignifugé)

réduit l’extension du feu en cas d’incendie.

2 Conseils importants d’utilisation

Le haut-parleur répond à toutes les directives

nécessaires de l’Union européenne et porte donc

le symbole .

•

Le haut-parleur n’est conçu que pour une utili-

sation en intérieur. Protégez-le de tout type de

projections d’eau, des éclaboussures et d’une

humidité d’air élevée. La température ambiante

admissible est de 0 – 40 °C.

•

Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un

chiffon sec et doux, en aucun cas de produits

chimiques ou d’eau.

•

Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de

dommages matériels ou corporels résultants si

le haut-parleur est utilisé dans un but autre que

celui pour lequel il a été conçu, s’il n’est pas

correctement branché ou s’il y a surcharge ; en

outre, la garantie deviendrait caduque.

Lorsque le haut-parleur est déﬁnitivement

retiré du service, vous devez le déposer

dans une usine de recyclage adaptée pour

contribuer à son élimination non polluante.

PAPIER À TRIER

3 Montage

1) Découpez dans le plafond un trou de diamètre

225 mm.

2) Effectuez le branchement électrique (☞ cha-

pitre 4).

3) Dépliez avec précaution les deux pinces vers le

haut, placez le haut-parleur dans la découpe

du plafond de telle sorte que les pinces ﬁxent

solidement le haut-parleur au plafond.

4 Branchement électrique

AVERTISSEMENT Pendant le fonctionnement,

une tension de contact dan-

gereuse jusqu’à 100 V est

présente au câble de branche-

ment. Seul un personnel quali-

ﬁé peut effectuer l’installation.

Veillez à respecter l’adaptation correcte de la

puissance. La somme des puissances de tous

les haut-parleurs reliés ne doit pas dépasser la

puissance de l’ampliﬁcateur. Une surcharge peut

endommager l’ampliﬁcateur.

1) Si l’installation Public Adress est allumée, veillez

à la débrancher totalement !

2) Reliez le haut-parleur : reliez les bornes de bran-

chement pour la puissance nominale souhaitée

(☞tableau) à la sortie 100 V de l’ampliﬁcateur.

Si plusieurs haut-parleurs sont branchés, veillez à

ce que les haut-parleurs aient tous la même pola-

rité et que l’ampliﬁcateur ne soit pas en surcharge.

Głośnik suﬁtowy PA

Niniejsza instrukcja przeznaczona jest instala-

torów posiadających wiedzę w zakresie syste-

mów PA pracujących w technice 100 V. Przed

rozpoczęciem użytkowania proszę zapoznać

się z instrukcją, a następnie zachować ją do

wglądu.

1 Zastosowanie

Głośnik ten przeznaczony jest do zastosowania w

systemach PA, został wyposażony w transforma-

tor do pracy w technice 100 V. Wymaganą moc

głośnika można wybrać za pomocą zacisków.

Głośnik jest układem dwudrożnym, dodatkowy

głośnik wysokotonowy poprawia reprodukcję wy-

sokich tonów. W przypadku wystąpienia pożaru,

zamknięta obudowa (przeciwogniowa) zabezpie-

cza przed rozprzestrzenianiem się ognia.

2 Bezpieczeństwo użytkowania

Ponieważ głośnik spełnia wymogi norm obowią-

zujących w Unii Europejskiej, został oznaczony

symbolem .

•

Urządzenie jest przeznaczone do użytku jedynie

wewnątrz pomieszczeń. Należy chronić je przed

bezpośrednim kontaktem z wodą i działaniem

wilgoci. Dopuszczalny zakres temperatur wyno-

si 0 – 40 °C.

•

Do czyszczenia urządzenia należy używać su-

chej, miękkiej tkaniny; nie wolno stosować

wody ani chemicznych środków czyszczących.

•

Producent ani dostawca nie ponoszą odpo-

wiedzialności za wynikłe szkody (uszkodzenie

sprzętu lub obrażenia użytkownika), jeśli urzą-

dzenie używano niezgodnie z przeznaczeniem,

nieprawidłowo podłączono bądź nastąpiło prze-

ciążenie urządzenia.

Po całkowitym zakończeniu eksploatacji

urządzenia należy oddać je do punktu

utylizacji odpadów, aby uniknąć zanie-

czyszczenia środowiska naturalnego.

3 Montaż

1) Należy wyciąć w suﬁcie otwór o średnicy

225 mm.

2) Należy podłączyć głośnik (☞rozdział 4).

3) Należy delikatnie zagiąć zaciski do góry, następ-

nie wprowadzić głośnik do otworu suﬁtowego,

aż zaciski złożą się i głośnik zostanie zabloko-

wany w otworze.

4 Podłączenie

UWAGA W trakcie pracy głośnika, na przy-

łączach może występować nie-

bezpieczne dla życia napięcie o

wartości do 100 V. Instalację może

przeprowadzać tylko przeszkolo-

ny personel.

Proszę zawsze przestrzegać prawidłowej bie-

gunowości. Całkowita moc wszystkich podłą-

czonych głośników nie może przekraczać mocy

wzmacniacza. Przeciążenie wzmacniacza spowo-

duje jego uszkodzenie!

1) Jeśli system PA jest włączony, należy go wyłą-

czyć przed rozpoczęciem podłączania głośni-

ków!

2) Należy podłączyć głośnik: z wyjściem 100 V

wzmacniacza połączyć zaciski odpowiednie dla

wymaganej mocy (☞tabela).

Przy podłączaniu kilku głośników należy się upew-

nić, czy wszystkie głośniki mają odpowiednią bie-

gunowość i czy wzmacniacz nie został przecią-

żony.

Altavoz de Techo para Megafonía

Estas instrucciones van dirigidas a instala-

dores con conocimientos especíﬁcos sobre

la tecnología de 100 V para megafonía. Lea

atentamente estas instrucciones antes de la

instalación y guárdelas para usos posteriores.

1 Aplicaciones

Este altavoz p3-ha sido especialmente diseñado para

aplicaciones en sistemas de megafonía. Está equi-

pado con un transformador para el funcionamien-

to en sistemas de 100 V. La carga conectada se

adecua mediante la selección de los terminales.

Con su tweeter adicional el altavoz es apto para

reproducción de música y conversación. En caso

de incendio, la carcasa cerrada (tapa de protec-

ción contra el fuego) limitará la propagación del

fuego.

2 Notas Importantes

El altavoz corresponde a todas las directivas rele-

vantes de la UE y por ello está marcado con .

•

El altavoz sólo está adecuado para un uso en

interiores. Protéjalo de goteos, salpicaduras de

agua y humedad elevada del aire. Rango de

temperatura ambiente admisible: 0 – 40 ºC.

•

Para limpiar utilice sólo un paño seco y suave,

no utilice nunca ni productos químicos ni agua.

•

No podrá reclamarse garantía o responsabilidad

alguna por cualquier daño personal o material

resultante si el aparato se utiliza para otros ﬁnes

diferentes a los originalmente concebidos, si no

se conecta adecuadamente o si se sobrecarga.

Si va a poner el altavoz deﬁnitivamente

fuera de servicio, llévelo a la planta de reci-

claje más cercana para que su eliminación

no sea perjudicial para el medioambiente.

3 Montaje

1) Haga un corte de 225 mm de diámetro en el

techo.

2) Establezca la conexión eléctrica (☞apartado4).

3) Pliegue cuidadosamente las dos abrazaderas

hacia arriba e inserte el altavoz en el corte del

techo de manera que las abrazaderas ﬁjen ﬁr-

memente el altavoz en el techo.

4 Conexión Eléctrica

ADVERTENCIA Durante el funcionamiento exis-

te el peli gro de contacto con

un voltaje de hasta 100 V en el

cable de conexión. La instala-

ción debe hacerse sólo el perso-

nal cualiﬁcado.

Preste atención a la correspondencia exacta

de potencia. La potencia total de los altavoces

conectados no puede exceder la potencia del

ampliﬁcador. ¡Una sobrecarga podría dañar el

ampliﬁcador!

1) ¡Si el sistema de megafonía está encendido,

apáguelo primero completamente!

2) Conecte el altavoz: Conecte los terminales para

la potencia nominal deseada (☞tabla) a la sa-

lida 100 V del ampliﬁcador.

Cuando conecte varios altavoces, asegúrese de

que todos los altavoces tienen la misma polaridad

y de que el ampliﬁcador no está sobrecargado.
