A. When using headphones, plug them into the
headphone jack on the right speaker. The
speakers will automatically mute for private
listening. To adjust the volume for your
headphones, use the controls on the front of
the right speaker.

B. To use the auxiliary input, plug your MP3 player
or other device into the auxiliary jack using a 3.5
mm cable (sold separately). If you are using the
headphone output on your device, make sure
the volume level on your device is set to 80% or
higher. To adjust the volume on the speakers,
use the controls on the front of the right speaker.

Connect your Logitech® speakers to your
soundcard, or external audio source, following
the diagram above. The speaker with the volume
control is the right channel. Note: If your
soundcard has both a line level output and a
speaker output, use the line level output.
Plug the power cord into a wall outlet.

Adjusting volume for the
first time
1. Turn the speaker volume control to the
center position.
2. Open your soundcard’s mixer program. In
Windows you’ll find this program by
double-clicking the small speaker icon in the
lower right corner of the screen.
3. With a music CD (or other content) playing,
adjust the mixer’s main volume to 2/3 or
greater and center the balance. Close or
minimize the mixer program.
4. Now use the speaker volume control to adjust
the volume for your system.
5. Treble and Bass can be adjusted to your
listening preference by turning the
tone control.

4. Réglez ensuite le volume du système à l’aide
de la commande de volume des haut-parleurs.
5. Faites tourner la commande de tonalité
pour ajuster les aigus et les graves selon
vos préférences d’écoute.

For problems with your computer, consult
the user’s guide that came with it.
Speakers produce weak or no
sound
• Is the power light on? Make sure the
speakers are plugged into an AC outlet
and the power button is on.
• Is there output from the soundcard?
Try connecting the speakers to an
alternative audio source - for example,
a CD player, cassette tape deck, or
radio. If there’s sound from the
speakers, the problem is probably with
your soundcard. If no other sound
source is available, try removing the
plug from the soundcard and turning
the speaker to maximum volume. You
should hear a hum or buzz when you
touch the tip of the plug. If you do, the
speaker is ok, and you should check
your soundcard setup.
• Are headphones plugged into the
speaker? Sound from the speaker is
muted whenever headphones are
plugged in. Try removing them to
restore sound to the speakers.
One speaker doesn’t produce
sound.
• Is the soundcard connection secure?
Make sure the cable from the
soundcard to the main speaker is
inserted all the way.
• Is the balance control centered in the
sound control panel?

son, le problème vient certainement de la carte
son. Si vous ne disposez pas d’une autre source
audio, déconnectez la carte son et réglez le
volume des haut-parleurs au maximum. Vous
devriez entendre un bourdonnement lorsque
vous touchez l’extrémité du connecteur. Le cas
échéant, les haut-parleurs fonctionnent. Il
convient alors de vérifier la configuration de la
carte son.
• Le casque d'écoute est-il branché au haut-parleur?
Les haut-parleurs sont mis en sourdine lorsque le
casque d’écoute est branché. Débranchez-le afin
de rétablir le son des haut-parleurs.
L’un des haut-parleurs ne produit

• La connexion de la carte audio est-elle sécuritaire

Logitech® warrants that any hardware product accompanying this documentation shall be free from significant defects in material and
workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. Logitec’s limited warranty is nontransferable and is limited to the

Remedies.Logitech’s entire liability and your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty shall be, at Logitech’s option, to: (a) repair or

of original purchase of the hardware by a dated bill of sale or dated itemized receipt.

expressly disclaim all other warranties, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular
purpose and noninfringement of third-party rights with respect to the HARDWARE. No Logitech dealer, agent, or employee is authorized

warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
