WARRANTY
This product is warranted to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. During
this warranty period, Klein Tools has the option to repair, replace or refund
the purchase price of any unit which fails to conform to this warranty under
normal use and service. This warranty does not cover damage which occurs
in shipment or failure which results from alteration, tampering, accident,
misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance. Batteries and damage
resulting from failed batteries are not covered by warranty. A purchase receipt
or other proof of original purchase date will be required before warranty
repairs will be rendered.
Any implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of
merchantability and fi tness for a particular purpose, are limited to the express
warranty. Klein Tools shall not be liable for loss of use of the instrument or
other incidental or consequential damages, expenses, or economic loss, or for
any claim or claims for such damage, expenses or economic loss.
Some states or countries laws vary, so the above limitations or exclusions
may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specifi c legal rights, and
you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. If your Klein
product requires repair or for information on how to exercise your rights
under the terms of this warranty, please contact Klein Tools at 1-800-553-

CLEANING
Turn instrument off and disconnect gooseneck camera. Clean the instrument and
camera by using a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
STORAGE
Do not expose to high temperatures or humidity. After a period of storage in
extreme conditions exceeding the limits mentioned in the Specifi cations section,
allow the instrument to return to normal operating conditions before using it.
DISPOSAL / RECYCLE
Caution: This symbol indicates that equipment and its accessories
shall be subject to a separate collection and correct disposal.
SETUP
CHARGING
The rechargable lithium-ion battery should be charged before operating
the borescope for the fi rst time. The battery can be charged via a standard
120V wall outlet or through a computer USB port. An exhausted battery
will take up to 5 hours to charge. It can be left charging overnight without
needing to be removed from power. The expected lifetime of the included
battery is 500 charging cycles.
WALL OUTLET: Locate the power wall
adapter (f) and the USB cable (g). Remove
the soft input cover and plug the cable
into the borescope's USB port (7). Plug
the other end of the cable into the power
adapter, and plug the wall adapter into a
standard 120V outlet.
COMPUTER: Locate the USB cable (g).

computer's USB port.
ATTACHING THE GOOSENECK CAMERA
Locate the gooseneck camera (10). Plug it into the camera input socket
of the borescope. Rotate the
adjustment piece clockwise to lock
it into place. The white arrow on the
camera head should be pointing up.
POWERING ON/OFF
To power the unit on and off, press and release the power button (2). The
borescope will be operational in a few moments.
LIVE VIDEO MODE
On startup, the borescope will enter the live output mode. The screen will
show the live output of the gooseneck camera along with the estimated
battery life remaining and the auto power off symbol if it is active.
LED BRIGHTNESS
The borescope gooseneck camera head has several LEDs used to light
your work area. You can control the brightness using the up and down
arrow buttons (3 & 4). The LED brightness ranges from off (LED:0) to full
(LED:100). The default setting is 25.
MIRRORING CAMERA OUTPUT
Press the mirror button (5) to mirror the camera output vertically over
the x-axis. This feature is useful when reading text or using the mirror
attachment with the borescope.
AUTO POWER OFF
The borescope can power itself off after 5 or 10 minutes of non-use, or
this feature can be disabled. Press and hold the "mirror" button for three
seconds until "APO" appears on the screen. Press repeatedly to toggle
between off, 5 min, and 10 min. The "APO" prompt will disappear after 5
seconds. A clock icon will appear in the top left corner of the screen when
auto power off is active.

To ensure safe operation and service of the Video Borescope, follow these
instructions. Failure to observe these warnings can result in severe injury
or death.
• The Borescope and gooseneck camera are NOT insulated. Avoid
probing areas where energized conductive elements may be present.
Shut off power to the nearby work areas before starting work.
• Avoid probing areas where chemicals may be present.
• Do not probe moving machinery that could catch the Borescope and
cause harm to the operator and the Borescope.
• The Borescope is not intended for use on people or animals.
• Do not use the Borescope near sources of heat.
• Keep steady footing at all times, following ladder safety procedures
when necessary.
• Do not use if the Borescope casing is cracked or broken in any way.

FEATURE LAYOUT
1. LCD Screen: 2.4" TFT LCD screen.
2. Power Button: Press and release to turn the instrument on and off.
3. Worklight Up Button: Increases the brightness of the camera-
mounted LEDs up to 100. Press and hold to change quickly.
4. Worklight Down Button: Decreases the brightness of the camera-
mounted LEDs down to 0 (off). Press and hold to change quickly.
5. Mirror/Auto Power Off Button: Short press mirrors the display over
the x-axis. Long press enables auto power off mode. Short presses
in auto power off mode change auto power off time (off, 5 minutes,
10 minutes).
6. Camera Input Socket: Screw into place once the camera output plug
is inserted.
7. USB Charging Port: Attach the borescope to a computer via USB
to charge battery. Attach to included 5V adapter to charge via a
standard power outlet.
8. Camera Head: Contains the CMOS sensor and LEDs. The arrow on
top indicates the camera is right-side up.
9. Gooseneck: Rated to IP67 to withstand all ingress of dust and
submersion in water up to 1 meter. Caution: bending the gooseneck
to 90 degrees or greater can permanently damage it.
10. Camera Output: Attaches to borescope body when the notch is
oriented correctly.

LIMPIEZA
Apague el instrumento y desconecte la cámara de cuello de cisne. Limpie el
instrumento y la cámara utilizando un paño húmedo. No utilice limpiadores
abrasivos ni solventes.
ALMACENAMIENTO
No exponga el instrumento a altas temperaturas o humedad. Después de un
período de almacenamiento en condiciones extremas que excedan los límites
mencionados en la sección Especifi caciones, deje que el instrumento regrese a
las condiciones de funcionamiento normales antes de utilizarlo.
ELIMINACIÓN / RECICLAJE

PREPARACIÓN
CARGA DE LA PILA
La pila de ion litio recargable se debe cargar antes de utilizar el boroscopio
por primera vez. La pila se puede cargar a través de un tomacorriente de
pared de 120 V estándar o a través de un puerto USB de computadora.
Tomará hasta 5 horas cargar una pila agotada. La pila se puede dejar
cargando toda la noche sin necesidad de desconectarla de la fuente
de alimentación. El tiempo de vida útil
esperado para la pila incluida es 500 ciclos
de carga.
TOMACORRIENTE DE PARED: Localice
el adaptador de alimentación de pared
(f) y el cable USB (g). Retire la cubierta
blanda de la entrada y enchufe el cable en
el puerto USB del boroscopio (7). Enchufe
el otro extremo del cable en el adaptador
de alimentación y enchufe el adaptador
de pared en un tomacorriente de 120 V
estándar.
COMPUTADORA: Localice el cable USB
(g). Retire la cubierta blanda de la entrada
y enchufe el cable en el puerto USB del
boroscopio (7). Enchufe el extremo
rectangular en el puerto USB de su
computadora.
CONEXIÓN DE LA CÁMARA DE
CUELLO DE CISNE
Localice la cámara de cuello de cisne (10). Enchúfela en el receptáculo de
entrada de la cámara del boroscopio. Rote la pieza de ajuste en el sentido
de las agujas del reloj para que quede fi ja en su sitio. La fl echa blanca
ubicada en la cabeza de la cámara debe señalar hacia arriba.
ENCENDIDO Y APAGADO
Para encender y apagar la unidad, presione y suelte el botón de
alimentación (2). El boroscopio estará operativo en unos momentos.
MODO DE VIDEO EN VIVO
Cuando el boroscopio se encienda, entrará en el modo de salida en vivo.
La pantalla mostrará la salida en vivo de la cámara de cuello de cisne junto
con la vida útil estimada que le queda a la pila y el símbolo de autoapagado
si éste se encuentra activo.
BRILLO DE LAS LUCES LED
La cabeza de la cámara de cuello de cisne del boroscopio tiene varias luces
LED que se utilizan para iluminar el área de trabajo. Usted puede controlar
el brillo utilizando los botones de fl echa hacia arriba y hacia abajo (3 y 4).
El brillo de las luces LED oscila desde apagado (LED:0) hasta completo
(LED:100). El ajuste preestablecido es 25.
REFLEXIÓN DE LA SALIDA DE LA CÁMARA
Presione el botón de espejo (5) para refl ejar la salida de la cámara
verticalmente sobre el eje x. Esta función es útil cuando se lee texto o se
utiliza el aditamento de espejo con el boroscopio.
AUTOAPAGADO
El boroscopio se puede apagar a sí mismo después de 5 o 10 minutos sin
uso, o esta función se puede desactivar. Presione y mantenga presionado
el botón de "espejo" durante tres segundos hasta que aparezca "APO" en

la pantalla. Presione repetidamente para alternar entre apagado, 5 minutos
y 10 minutos. La indicación "APO" desaparecerá después de 5 segundos.
Aparecerá un icono de reloj en la esquina superior izquierda de la pantalla
cuando el autoapagado esté activo.
