INSTRUCTION MANUAL
The JKTG-1 Thermo-Hygrometer has been designed
specifically for ease of use and with a clear display of the
readings. It is made of the highest quality standards. To
ensure yourself that you get the best out of your JKTG-1,
please read the manual carefully.
FUNCTIONS OF THE THERMO-
HYGROMETER
The JKTG-1 is a state of the art instrument for measuring
and displaying the indoor temperature and
relative humidity. It can help you monitor the humidity of
your home to achieve an ideal living environment.

Battery Installation
The thermo-hygrometer is powered by two pieces of
AM-4 or AAA size batteries.
On a new product, open the battery cover on the back
and remove the insulation strips.
To install or change the batteries do as follows:
1. Open the battery cover on the backside, remove the
old batteries and insert 2 new AAA size batteries.
2. Make sure you observe the correct polarity before
insertion.
3. Put back the battery cover.
1. When you install or change the batteries, it will reset all
data in the unit. Upon start-up, the JKTG-1 will show a
full segment display for 1 to 2 seconds,then it shows the
updated temperature and humidity reading.
2. When the battery low icon appears, change the
batteries to make sure the readings are according to
the specifications.
Use of table stand
Note:
You can set your JKTG-1 on a table as follows: A round
click-in stand is provided in the package. At the bottom of
the unit, there are two holes where the stand will fit in.
Insert it in the correct direction to get a slight tilting angle
to the back when placing on a table. (see graphics on
page 2)
Wall Mounting
Remove the stand by simply pulling it down from the unit.
1. The JKTG-1 has a dedicated opening on the backside
for wall-mount purpose
2. Place a screw or a nail in the wall and simply hang the
JKTG-1 on it.
How to use
The JKTG-1 displays the currently measured temperature
and relative humidity automatically.
1. Press the Button on the top right corner to select the
temperature unit (ºC or ºF).
2. The Comfort Indicator will display HOT, DRY, COLD,
COM or WET according to the current conditions
Comfort Zone
The comfort zone indicator lets you know the condition of
the environment following below chart.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures or
direct sunlight over longer periods.
- Avoid blows and shocks of any kind to the device.
- For cleaning use a dry soft cloth that you have
moistened with water and a mild cleaning agent. Never
use volatile substances such as benzene, thinner,
cleansing agents in spray cans etc.
- When the device is not being used store it in a dry area
and out of the reach of small children.
- If the device is activated under extreme coldness it may
occur that the display becomes illegible. As soon as it is
returned to a warm environment the device will function
normally.
- Please keep the user’s manual and other documents
delivered with the device stored carefully so that you
can reference them at a later point if necessary.

means of a functioning instrument. It may occur that
adjustments and improvements of the device will take
place that due to typographical procedures were not able
to be listed in this manual. Should you notice deviations
which make it difficult for you to operate and use the
instrument you may at any time download the latest
manual onto your PC free of charge at www.irox.com

- Please use only new batteries and never mix old and
new batteries.
- Please also remember that old batteries should not be
disposed of with household waste but should be handed
in at the designated collection centres.
- Important: With all Irox appliances, all disposal fees in
Switzerland (vRG; advance recycling fee) and in the
EU (WEEE) have been paid.

MANUEL D’INSTRUCTION
Le thermo-hygromètre Irox JKTG-1 a été conçu
spécialement en vue d'un usage simple et avec un
affichage clair à la lecture. Il répond au standard de
qualité le plus élevé grâce à des composants
électroniques de précision. Pour être sûr de profiter
au mieux des possibilités de votre JKTG-1, veuillez lire
le manuel suivant avec attention.
FONCTION DU JKTG-1
Le JKTG-1 est un instrument de pointe pour la mesure
et l’affichage de la température intérieure et de l’humidité
relative. Il peut vous aider à gérer l’humidité de votre
domicile en créant un environnement de vie idéal.

Fonctionnement
Installation de la pile
Le thermo-hygromètre est alimenté par deux piles AM-4
ou AAA.
Sur un nouveau produit, ouvrir le couvercle des
piles à l’arrière et retirer le film protecteur.
Pour installer ou changer les piles, procéder comme suit:
1. Ouvrir le couvercle des piles à l’arrière de l’appareil,
retirer les anciennes piles et insérer deux nouvelles
piles AAA.
2. Vérifier que la polarité correcte a été respectée avant
insertion.
3. Replacer le couvercle des piles.
NOTE:
1. Lorsque vous installez ou changez les piles, toutes les
données de l’unité seront réinitialisées.
Au démarrage, le JKTG-1 affichera un écran à
segments pleins pendant 1 ou 2 secondes, ensuite il
affiche la température et le degré d’humidité mis à jour.
2. Lorsque le symbole pile faible apparaît, changer les
piles pour garantir que la lecture correspond aux
spécifications.
Utilisation du support sur table
Vous pouvez placer votre JKTG-1sur une table comme
suit : Un support à encliqueter rond est fourni dans le
pack d’achat. En bas de l’unité, vous pouvez observer
deux petits trous dans lesquels entre le support.
Insérer-le dans le bon sens afin d'obtenir un angle
légèrement basculé vers l’arrière lorsque l’appareil est
placé sur la table. (voir graphique de la page 9)
Montage au mur
Retirer le support en le tirant simplement à l'extérieur
de l'unité.
1. Le JKTG-1 possède une ouverture spéciale à l’arrière
prévue pour un montage au mur
2. Placer une vis ou un clou dans le mur et suspendre
simplement le JKTG-1 sur celui-ci.
Mode d’emploi
Le JKTG-1 affiche la température et l’humidité relative
actuellement mesurées.
1. Presser le bouton dans l’angle supérieur droit pour
sélectionner l’unité de température ( ºC ou ºF )
2. L’indicateur confort affichera HOT, DRY, COLD, COM
ou WET en fonction des conditions actuelles
Zone de confort
L’indicateur de la zone de confort vous fait savoir la
condition de l’environnement selon le tableau ci-dessous.
ENTRETIEN DE L'APPAREIL
- Ne soumettez pas l’appareil à des températures
extrêmes ou au rayonnement direct du soleil pendant
une période prolongée.
- Evitez des coups ou des chocs violents de tout type
sur l’appareil.
- Utilisez pour le nettoyage un chiffon sec, doux que vous
avez humecté avec un mélange d’eau et de produit
nettoyant léger. Vous ne devez jamais utiliser des
substances volatiles, telles que du benzène, un diluant,
des produits nettoyants en bombe.
- Entreposez l’appareil lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé dans un
endroit sec et hors de portée des enfants.
- Si l’appareil est activé en cas de froid extrême, il se peut
que l’affichage devienne illisible. Dès que l’appareil se
trouve de nouveau dans un environnement plus chaud,
l’appareil fonctionnera de nouveau correctement.

Cet appareil est un nouveau produit de Irox Development
Technology. Toutes les données ont été fournies et
contrôlées au moyen d’un appareil fonctionnel. Il se peut
que des ajustements et améliorations soient effectués sur
l’appareil, n’ayant pas pu être ajoutés à ce mode d’emploi
pour des raisons liées à l’impression. Si vous constatez
des divergences qui vous compliquent la manipulation et
l'utilisation de l'appareil, vous pouvez toujours télécharger
gratuitement sur www.irox.com le dernier mode d'emploi
en vigueur sur votre PC (vous trouvez la version sur la
première page).
- Conservez soigneusement le mode d’emploi et les
autres documents fournis à la livraison pour pouvoir les
relire ultérieurement si nécessaire.
- Utilisez exclusivement des piles neuves et ne mélangez
jamais des piles usagées et nouvelles. Veuillez
également ne pas oublier que les piles usagées ne
doivent pas être éliminées dans les ordures ménagères,
mais être déposées dans des centres de rassemblement
prévus à cet effet.
- Important: Toutes les taxes d’élimination de tous les
appareils Irox sont acquittées en Suisse (TAR) et dans
l’UE (WEEE).
